I'm usually a size 8 in bottoms and a 6 (34 A )in tops. The only available size was 8 in this tankini top, so I took a chance and bought it. It's good thing that size 6 was out of stock. The 8 was a snug fit. It is impossible to pull over your head when it's wet, but it comes off fairly easily when you take it off down and over the hips. Goes on better that way too. The built in bra supports my aging "girls" well and doesn't sag when wet or show more of me than was intended when I bend over. The bodice (in combination with the matching skirt) does a good job of keeping my tummy under control. Definitely made of quality material and is of excellent workmanship. The material is more substantial than that of my LL Bean swim dress from years ago, but it dries more quickly. Good purchase.

The print and ruching obscures my tummy, and the soft cup is so much more comfortable than underwire. Fits my post-menopausal needs perfectly!

Very snug fitting, holds everything in! I normally wear a size 6 @ 126lbs, but ordered an 8. Wonder if a 10 might be easier to get on and off. Getting the top on was a work out!

Great fit and perfect for Aqua classes. I like that the sides don't 'inflate' during pool aerobics. Wish they came in more designs!

This tankini top is very comfortable, but also shapes you nicely. It has kept its color without fading. I usually rinse it in cold water after swimming. I hand wash and hang outside to dry.

This has been a terrific swim top for my aquatherapy sessions. It is retaining its shape and colors nicely despite heavy pool chlorination. The adjustable straps were a must for me and they stay in place. The fabric is high quality. I ordered two sizes of the top, so I could see which was the fit I would like. I highly advise that approach since this style has some compression built in. I strongly recommend this top.

I bought two of these so I must like them! I love the retro style. I have one in size small and one in medium. They both are a bit hard to get on and off as they have very strong shaping, but they are comfortable when on. I would recommend sizing up.

This has a bra built in, unlike others that don't provide much support. The design is pretty and I like the colors.

I was looking for a tankini top with good support and this one has it! It stays in place even swimming in strong ocean waves. The top fits snugly, not loosely, and falls at the hip. The pretty colors allow you wear different-colored bottoms with it.

Good fit. Comfortable fabric. Didn't ride up or float in the pool during water aerobics, like some other suit tops I've had.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago. I am usually a size 8, but went with a size 10 after reading reviews. The reviews are spot-on about the size. It does run smaller, I think because it is a compression-fitted style. It has rouching. I am 5' O" and weigh 120 to 124 lbs, and am a 34C. Overall, this the best bathing suit I have bought in a long time. I took a chance and ordered this online because my store does not have this in stock. The straps are adjustable. I put it on without having to adjust the straps. It has a shelf bra and holds me up well. I needed a UPF 50. It was great to swim in. It is a thicker material and will take a while to dry. Tip: I push this down when wet went to get it off. It will be too difficult to get over your head, even when dry. Will be great for water aerobics too.

Quality swim top. I ordered up a size based on reviews and I'm sorry I did! I had to return and get my usual size. It is a shaping top, so it is a little snug intentionally. I like the adjustable straps. I'm happy with my purchase.

Love this tankini top. It is very comfortable on my 70 year old body and covers the effects of age very nicely. I also love the colorful pattern. It does run small though and I had to go 2 sizes up from my normal size.

The quality of the material and construction is excellent and the bra provides sufficient support for ample breasts without an underwire. The length of the top and tummy control are flattering.

Beautiful, sturdy, high quality. I am in my mid-50s, 5'4", size 12, large (but not huge) sized bust for my age. I have two of these, one in solid black, one in the bright turquoise/multicolor tropical floral design. I been wearing them for ocean swimming every day in Hawai'i for the past three months and they are holding up outstandingly well. The stitching, material, and sewn in support are all very high quality. I abhor removable bra cups for many reasons, especially for swimming in sandy ocean environments, so the truly sewn in support of the LL Bean shaping tankini top is very important to me. Some companies' sewn in support shows through as strangely plastered on disclike pasties that feel weird and look ridiculous, but not these. This support system looks and feel just right for my bust size. The adjustable straps do loosen over several wearings, so I need to keep retightening them, but I am doing a lot of unusual arm activity in the ocean, and I can deal with retightening the straps every few swims--the pros far outweigh the slowly-loosening strap issue. I especially love my bright multicolor tropical floral print suit. I pair these with the corresponding swim shorts, which are also extremely well made, flattering and comfortable. Highly recommend!
