First "two piece bathing suit" experience. Top fits well and is comfortable. Looks nice and provides good support. It deserves 4 stars. Unfortunately, bottom, fits less well. It feels loose, and a bit baggy. I fear it will become even looser with time. Perhaps I should have kept the smaller size. Top is one size smaller than bottom. Three stars for bottom. Together, the suit looks nice. I think my one piece is more comfortable!

I love this scoopneck tankini. It has classic styling, is very modest and fits great. You can't go wrong with llbean swim tops.

I really like this top. It's got excellent coverage, plus unlike so many other tankini tops, is not tight or clingy around my ribcage, and doesn't ride up when I sit down. This is proof that even a bathing suit top doesn't have to be skin tight to stay in place, and look flattering.

It fits well and gives good breast support even though I prefer underwire

It's not often I like something so much that I seek out reviewing but in the case I did. I kayak a lot. This is the first tankini top I've had. It is no where near a mumu; it definitely has shape, but it flares just below the breasts so that my rolls aren't advertised. It is also a great length, ending in the perfect spot to not show my stomach pooch. Coverage is great on the sides and it's cut high enough on the chest that I'm comfortable bending over without embarrassing myself (I'm well endowed). And while the breast support isn't great, it's good enough. In my mind you could only get better support with an underwire, which I'm not swimming in, so in the give and take of things the support is as good as I'm willing to endure. I am thrilled I bought both black and blue. The two colors match many bottom options. Thanks LL Bean for making such a terrific staple!

I'm really pleased with this top. It was exactly what I needed. It's comfortable, not binding and true to size. I wear it over a pair of mens board shorts and I'm super comfy swimming laps. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it.

Finally found a tankini top that fits my full figure. and I have been looking for a while.

Yea! After trying on a 14 (too large) & accidentally replacing w/a size 10 (too small) I got the size 12. Fit is good the cups aren't ginormous, arm holes good, scoop is not too high or low. Just a nice plain tankini top which is what I wanted to wear w/black swim shorts. This is a keeper for me.

Fits very well and is comfortable. The top balloons out in the water, but that's not a huge problem.

As advertised, fit was good. Armhole seams are a little scratchy/uncomfortable when I move my arms around. Maybe they would soften in the wash, but I’m not going to take the chance.

I ordered a size up and the tall size because I like a longer tankini. I had ordered one of the patterned versions and the lining was black, which I like. The lining does not lay flat as other reviewers notes - it peeks out in the cleavage and a bit on the side boob. But, the black suit has a tan lining and is even stranger in the fact that it does not lay flat and lots of the lining peeks out. Maybe it's just if you're a d or bigger cup? I am keeping the patterned one but not keeping this black one.

Like this bathing top, but only in black. Would like to have had some color choices.

I ordered the wrong size initially. Return was easy and the top in the correct size works great for water aerobics! Very comfortable !

I like the material, shape, and overall fit, but wish it had a more supportive bra fit. The bra in the tankini is mediocre, for larger women a more supportive bra is needed.

Perfect for what I need - I kayak 3 times per week and need something that looks like a shirt but that can get wet and dries easily. The only thing I don't like is the bra under-boob band - it is very uncomfortable and gave me a rash on my skin so I cut that out and now it's much more comfortable.

Good fit, it floats up in exercise classes. Not sure anything that isn't skin tight wouldn't. For the record, I don't like padding and this is permanent, can't get it out padding :-(

I bought this particular BeanSport Tankini Scoop Neck Top as it is very easy to put on and take off when wet. I ordered the Black in 14 regular and it fits well. For reference I am 5'7" and 154 lbs. I normally wear a 12 but I ordered a size up. The reason for a 4 star review is the bust area is a tiny bit big - but that's my flaw :) I would definitely recommend this top as it is very comfortable.

Let me first RAVE about the super fast shipping!! I ordered on Thursday 10am and it arrived Friday 4pm!! Fastest shipping EVER! The size 18W fit my large top very nicely. My bra size is 36D, so I was hoping for more support. I love everything else about the quality and fit. It is loose in the middle which may or may not be to someone's liking. The straps are not too thick. Adjustable straps would have been nice, but the front keeps things covered nicely. But cmon LLB - in womens sizes, u really need to offer more support for large busts! Underwire wouldve given this 5 stars.

This is made well. Great material. I just got it so I can't speak for how it holds up. I am quite top heavy (size40DD) and the 16 fits well and gives some well needed support. An 18 might fit the rest of me better, but I need that support and I would love to see even more support for us ladies that are large busted and not in their 20's!!! Please!

The suit has nice coverage. The material was a bit heavier than expected. The style was not very flattering on me. I returned the suit.

I've been looking for a tankini top that doesn't float up in the pool. This picture looked like it might be snug enough to stay down but it floated up just like a blousy top. I'm returning it.
