I preferred the trail skirt that LLBean used to have with the snap and zipper front. I thought that was the greatest, wish they would bring it back.

I bought this skort for vacation, and fell in love! It's super comfortable, packs well and is exactly what I was looking for. I would have given 5 stars, but the only slight negative is that the inner shorts are a tad short. If they were a little longer, it'd be 5 stars easily.

Very good quality and fits well. Looks nice. I get compliments each time I wear it. Just wish the shorts didn't ride up as much. Would be a little more comfortable.

I love the skort but the shots inside are like everyone else said; they're a bit too shot. they weren't uncomfortable, I just felt like I needed to keep pulling them up since the waist band rested on an unusual waist line, in between my natural waist line and low rider jeans. Also; I have a short torso and long legs and the length was perfect.

I've been living in this skort (and the shorts, and the slim pants in this line) for a few months now. Love them! Regarding the piling that some customers have experienced: I have not had this happen, but I put all my camp vista items in a laundry bag when I wash them (because the draw strings become tangled up if I do not), and then they all air dry (line drying helps prevent wrinkles). ** The first pair of pants and the first skort I purchased had the problem of fragile thread used to stitch the item; all the subsequent items I have purchased have not had that problem. ** I am not sure these items are really for the hard-core, out-in-the-woods, rustic camper/hiker. The fabric is rather lightweight. I have not used them deep in the woods, though, so not sure how they would perform. ** Please bring back the hazelnut color for the skort!!

Typical Bean's high quality. Fit is good. Looks cute. Something about the fit or fabric of the inner shorts makes them feel hot when I wear the garment. For this reason I will probably choose another style when I order another skort.

Great product for hiking and kayaking, dries quickly! I recommend ordering one size smaller that you normally wear.

Bought this skort for vacation. Weather was very hot and humid and I stayed cool. Loved the way it fits. Wish I would have purchased another color that they had in store.

The Vista Camp pants and crops in XL fit me well, but the skort was tight. Wish it came in Plus sizes.

I love the skirt and it fits great but the shorts are too short so they ride up. If they were about 1-2 inches longer, this skirt would be perfect.

Liked the fabrics (inner and auteur), the number, configuration and location of the pockets, as well as the length. When I tightened the waist string, there was "bunching" on the back side that looked very unattractive. The M was kinda small, but the L was too large. The inner short felt kinda skimpy. Also, the color selection (current, as well as navy blue and black) are not great for the summer, which is when one would wear skorts! I really wish they came in bright and cheerful summer colors (or at least the "standard" khaki)! I returned the item, ordered a navy one in L, but had to return that one as well. Sadly, it's a no-go.

I love the quality of this skort and have it in two colors. The fabric is nice, gives easily, is cool and washes up like a dream. I throw mine in the dryer for a few minutes then hang it up to finish drying. My only complaint is it's a bit short-waisted. I'm only 5'4" but have a long torso so my waist is much higher. I don't really see the need for the drawstrings in the waist as it's elastic. If you tie it into a bow or knot, it creates a bulging lump under your top and makes you look heavier in the abdomen so I tuck my strings into the waist and have considered removing them.

Love this skort, but the stitching on the hemline has broken in multiple places. The fabric is stretchy, but the threads don't have the give they need, so they break. As regards to the fabric, it is very nice and I like the zip pickets. I think a tent camper/hiker would want a sturdier fabric. Hoping LL Bean keeps this, but also hoping they take a look into different stitching threads.

I like this skort--the fabric is light and quick drying. The fit is ok if maybe a bit large. The thing that knocks it down is the shorts part. There is nothing to keep the legs from riding up and it can become annoying. I may be comparing them to my bike shorts that have some sort of tacky band on the leg hem that keeps them in place. I'll keep the skirt but may look for some sort of tape to sew along the short edge.

This skort is super comfortable, has good stretch and fits true to size. I have 2 negatives: first, the tie in front is not really necessary given that the waistband is stretchy...the tie just adds unnecessary bulk in the front. Second, the fake fly in front is also unnecessary. It gaps open and takes away from what should be a clean line and flat in front. I may stitch it closed to keep it from gapping. Other than those 2 things, I'm happy with my purchase!

This was a nice weight fabric and the shorts do not ride up like another skirt I have that is similar to this. My only complaint is that it is very tight fitting across the stomach and highlights my least favorite area.

This is a perfect golf skort. Not to short and pockets for tees and golf ball! And a back pockets tp put a cloth when cleaning golf ball. I would have given it a 5 star but don't really like the string tie around the waist. Fit is perfect!

I ordered this skort in olive in spring 2019 and liked it so much that I ordered it in navy and black as well! Overall, it's a versatile skort that can "pass" as a skirt, depending on your tee/blouse and footwear. It is a little shorter in the rise than I'd like, but since the waistband is a stretchy knit, I wear the skort lower on my hips (which also makes the hemline seem longer and more presentable for various social settings). The pockets are very handy, it washes easily and line dries quickly, and it can go from outdoor activites, to sightseeing, to a casual lunch or dinner. You will get a lot of wear out of this item if you order it! I will add that the drawstring in this item is virtually useless, so I removed it from all 3 of my skorts. (For me, the stretchy waistband removes the need for the drawstring. If a person truly needs the drawstring along with the stretchy knit waistband, they might consider going down a size!) Because of the shorter rise and useless drawstring, I'm giving this item only 4 stars.

I ordered a small by the size chart, but returned it for an XS, which fit better. I actually wanted a skirt, so I cut the shorts out. I wear leggings underneath and it's easier to use the bathroom without the shorts. Zippered pockets are perfect for phone and keys, since I don't carry a purse. It looks great! I'm delighted with the result. I would give a 5 except for the fact that I had to size down.

The shorts underneath kept riding up so I am always having to pull them down. Other than that I do like them.

This is a great skort. It's comfortable and looks good on. Only issue I've noticed is that the stitching on the hem seems to be loosening up and not holding. Imagine it will not hold for another season.

This is my first skort - I bought it mainly for golf, but I find myself wearing it a lot for running around on summer weekends. As another reviewer mentioned, the inner short does ride up quite a bit, and I find myself looking for opportunities to (gracefully??) pull the lining down. However, it's not a dealbreaker. The material is great for warm humid weather, and it washes well. I bought the large based on comments about the lining length, but since it rides up anyway, the medium probably would have been just fine, fit-wise.

I bought this in black and just love the way it looks and feels. I'd love it more if the shorts underneath were a little looser so they don't ride up, but that's not such a big deal. The bigger deal is that after I washed it for the second time, a section of the skirt had pills all over it. I was able to scrape them off, but this concerns me. Next time I'll wash it inside out and line dry instead of using the dryer and hopefully that will solve the problem. I just ordered this in Olive, and I'd hate to have a pilling problem. I'll try to update this after I wash again.

Love these skorts. Very comfortable with pockets for my cell phone. Can be very casual with a t shirt or more tourist casual with a dressier shirt. I wish they were offered in more colors. My only complaint is the stretchy shorts underneath are slightly too short and I find myself pulling them down several times during the day. These are a great alternative to wearing shorts.
