I have the shorts and wanted some longer light pants for travel that would keep my legs from being bit by mosquitos but not too hot. These are going to fit the bill. Length was perfect for me. I have see worries about wear and pilling and will update if this is an issue

I particularly like these Vista pants for their comfort and versatility. I get the straight leg and like that they come down to my shoes but are adaptable and can be adjusted. The closest I come to camping or hiking is walking my dog. But the pockets make all kinds of activities so much simpler, I never have to carry a bag for phone, glasses and keys, when going for a walk or an errand.

Comfortable elastic waist, lightweight and sufficient pockets. They are perfect for walks in the woods with my dog. I prefer long pants year round for tick protection.

Perfect fit for those with a shorter inseam. I have the shorts in the same fabric. All pieces wash well with quick line dry. They pack neatly for trips. Some have mentioned pilling of the fabric after washing, but I have not experienced this.

These are comfortable and cool. They do pill a bit between the thighs because mine touch when I walk, but otherwise, they've stood up well to a year's worth of wearing in hot weather. I like them so much that I just bought two more pair.

So comfortable and so flattering. They are lightweight and nice to wear when weather is warmer. I have bought these as shorts, capris and now pants. The material doesn't hold cat hair, which is also a win! Looking forward to wearing these while traveling.

Best warm weather pants! I use them for gardening, traveling, and hiking. The fabric is breathable and dries quickly. I always cut the drawstrings and tie a knot in them to shorten, as I prefer to leave them untied. I love how roomy they are -- please don't change the fit! Have even received compliments on them while out and about.

I love, love, love these pants! I wear the light weight ones in the summer and the lined ones when it's cold. They are practically the only pants I wear. They are so lightweight, they are cooler than wearing shorts. They dry so fast it doesn't matter how wet they get. They are easy to launder and never show wrinkles. The pockets are great and close with zippers. (Your cell phone can't drop out.) I could go on and on. I recommend these pants more than any article of clothing I own. I see some negative reviews mention pilling. There is a little pilling I hardly notice and if changing from this fabric solved that but changed any of the other positives, it wouldn't be worth it! I do wish there was another lighter color option like a light grey or sand for variety but somehow even the black doesn't feel too hot and our temps hit 100 degrees this past week. I implore you, llbean, never stop selling these!

These are my second pair - I am still using my original ones which are several years old, mostly for hiking and birding. I wanted a backup pair, just on the off chance they are ever discontinued. They fit me comfortably at the waist, which is a hard feature to find. If there was some way that they could be made snag proof, they would be absolutely perfect. More colors please, especially lighter shades for summer.

The most comfortable pants I've ever had. They are so lightweight and keep me cool in the summer and can also be worn in winter. I am thinking of buying several just in case the gets discontinued sometime.

I love these pants. I have several pairs. The material is great. It's lightweight and can be worn in the northeast spring and fall.

Great warm weather pants -- light, breathable, and very comfortable. They go well from hot & humid days into slightly cooler summer nights. After a light rain, they dry in a flash. I wish the cargo pockets were a bit deeper, but my phone fits in the zippered hip pockets. I'm 5'6", 145#, curvy, and medium fits well (relaxed). Not sure yet about durability (particularly given how light and gauzy they feel), but time will tell.

These are my favorite pants. I had them in grey and bought them in black which I can dress up (a little).
