These are very well made pants. I like the fabric and the colors but they just didn't work for me. The leg wasn't as wide as I had hoped. I believe they could be casual or semi dressy depending on what you wear with them. Wish they would have worked for me.

Love these pants. The fabric is a bit thinner than expected, but wonderful all the same. I purchased them for dog walkinglots of pockets.

I purchased these pants specifically for a camping trip, but guess what? They are SO comfortable I'll be wearing them around town, too. Thx LL Bean!

Waistband is perfect for bigger hips. Pant material is very light but fine for summer. I like a wider leg pant so these are ok. Wish designers would give us more room in thigh and legs and not make everything so stinking tight. Ugh. So tired of fighting this battle. Height: 5' 5" Weight: 140 Size: medium

Comfortable. Pricey. Loose fit. Good for hiking and warm weather.

These are terrific in many ways--light, easy care, good fit, and good looking. My first pair pilled badly--I felt like the pilling was at a level that they were ruined for anything but yard work. I figured out eventually that you can't have velcro (glove closures, coat closures) anywhere near these pants--for example, an open coat with velcro closures touching the pants while you're driving or otherwise seated. I hate velcro on coats and gloves--but it's everywhere at this point. Keep it away from this fabric. On the upside, a sweater shaver helped a lot to restore the pants to close to normal. (To be clear, the velcro sides did not catch on the pants, but they did cause them to pill, nevertheless. Or else there is some other mystery cause yet to be discovered.)

I love these pants so much I have them in 2 colors. The fit is true to size. They are great for outdoor activities, I wear them camping, hiking and kayaking. They are quick to dry which is great. The downside is the lightweight fabric snags and gets holes easily. I keep my pair with a hole in it for camping and yard work because they're still so comfortable. The other downside to them being so light is that putting anything heavy in the pockets weighs them down and makes them sag. The upside is they are cooler than regular pants in warm weather.

I hope these will last better than the previous pair. Love the fit, love the style, love the elastic cuffs. The previous pairs pill in the thigh area, so I have to use a razor to remove the pilling, and one of the cuff elastic pieces broke, so they were no longer wearable. Now, all that said, I still love them more than anything else I found, which is why I bought them again.

Looks good for travel but no good smart phone pocket. the weight of my "normal size" smart phone wieghs the pockets down it does fit in and makes them look a bit awkward, the back pocket is too small. The material is functional, would not be great for below 40 degrees. The color Rasin is actually quite nice, I was unsure but wanted something other than khaki or olive.

Not a petite in length. Probably more like a 30 or 31 inch inseam.

Bought these for travel into tropics. All comfortable except for the waist. The elastic is scratchy. I don't know if they will make the cut

Wicked comfortable. But I don't think they're quite tough enough for hiking through brambles or anything you think would snag fabric. I got my first pair in medium tall. A little too big. Got this pair in small tall. Just right. I'm about 5'-9", 125 pounds.

The only thing keeping me from giving these 5 starts is, I wish they were a little longer. I am 5'8" and wearing a small. Most other pants seems to have a bit longer inseam, and for active outdoor days I like to keep debris away from my ankles. However, they are lightweight and very comfortable, and I love all the pockets. They wash great and dry fast.

I got these pants in all colors for a trip to keep cool and protected in the hot Sun. They are very light weight and are really packable. They do wrinkle and crease easily. The pockets can hold a lot but will weight the pants down since the waist band is elastic and the drawstring is barely usable to tighten the waist. Also note that since the pants are so thin anything stored in the pockets will stick out and isn't flattering for photos.

They fit great once you find your size. I'm normally an XL in pants from every other brand..but somehow a M fits me? These sizes are weird. The fabric starts to pill almost immediately all over the pants - between the legs, by the front pockets, on the butt. I'm about 5'5" and the regular inseam is too short, the pants are at my ankles. They're so comfortable that I can overlook the pilling issues. Once you find your size and length, you'll love them.

I love the pants but ordered a size too large. I'm currently waiting for my exchange of a medium.

These pants are great for travel. Can dress up or use for hiking.

my favorite cargo comfortable pants to wear for going out. look nice to go out. i like sides by hips with zippered pockets. already ordered me 2 more in black color.

These pants are great traveling .The material is very comfortable..These are my 3rd pair .I have wanted a pair of green so i can take them to Ireland next year .Lovely pants nice for Florida weather

Love the material, but just wish that they didn't balloon up at the bottom..can't wait to wear them more often.

These are super comfy and true to fit. By the end of the day the waistband tends to curl, but that's my only complaint.

Very comfortable!! Lots of pockets! Great fit too! Only thing that I don't like is that I feel the drawstring closure is too long.

These pants are great & I would give 5 stars if the fabric was more durable. LL Bean ... have exact same pattern pant made in stretch Ripstop fabric also? Would be another great pair of pants. Thanks!

These are my go-to pants for hiking, running errands, casual events. Comfortable and durable. I am so happy that they now come in tall size! Only one flaw: the lower pocket on the leg is not secure. It doesn't have a zipper, it has only one button. I lost my swiss army knife out of it on a hike, climbing over rocks and and in and out of a truck. So, don't put anything you value in those pockets.
