The pant is a good summer weight, fits nice. I like the elastic waist could do without the tie. Wore them a couple of times and I'm finding snags.

I bought these pants a few years back, in Navy and Granite. Over time both pants have some pilling mostly high thigh/crotch area. It took a few years for the Navy ones to show this and the pilling is minimal but the Granite ones pilled severely within the first year. LL Bean was kind enough to replace the Granite ones with a new pair of Granite which have also pilled really badly. It's strange to me that I wear them equally, but the Blue pill very little and the Granite pill a LOT. I haven't re-contacted LL Bean about this. I like the pants so much and just figure I can try to buy them on sale and live with the pilling. I"ll be buying 2 more soon, same colors and I know the Granite will wear out sooner than the Navy but I love the fit and color so I'll keep buying them. But it's strange--seems to be the same material and yet, the Granite... BTW, I know I purchased Petite Medium (I'm short and "chubby") but I"m not clear on the difference between inseam and size range (below). Those are guesses. I didn't realize these have sun protection--that's part of why I rate them a "4", even with the piling issues.

I was not a fan of the bungees around the ankles on these pants I liked the pockets and the waistband was really comfortable and well suited for hiking or fitness walking. I ended up returning them.

Pants are very comfortable, light weight and perfect for summer. I feel they do run a little large and are quite expensive.

Easy care and comfy. Side pockets could be deeper. Fit well and good color.

Love the fit! Great pant for the lake, because if you get wet, it dries out in no time.

I liked these very lightweight pants. I wore them in the heat of the Grand Canyon. They are a bit too long but still comfortable.

I love these pants. I now have 6 pairs plus 3 shorts. BUT, can you improve the fabric so it does not ball when washed. I took 3 pair on a 6 week trip. All were machine washed at least twice. Most of the time they were air dried. All of them had little fabric balls all over them when I returned home.

Owned these pants less than a year and use only when hiking or traveling. Not happy with the seams. Threads in areas on front of legs has come undone. Pants themselves are loose fitting so have no idea why seams, from the inside, have ripped, leaving long/looping seams on the outside.

Great pants in Navy. Tried other colors but didn't love them on me. Pockets are a little shallow on the leg for big phones but otherwise great.

Pants are great pants except the back and side leg pockets are not long enough to hold my cell phone! Also the adjustable drawstrings on hem need a bette system to cinch around ankles, some plastic cinches from a rain coat work really well!

I am really happy with these pants. They are great for warmer weather, I like the pockets and I wear them walking the dogs and they don't collect dog hair (sounds weird but if you have dogs you get it). However, there is a seam in the middle of the leg that falls across my knee which bothers me sometimes and I do not like how far out the buttons hang. Someone did tell me I looked like I was wearing scrubs which made me think twice.

I love the style and color of these pants. I wear them for every day. I like the drawstring and elastic waistband; it allows me to loosen or tighten them. I gave this pant only 4 stars because the fabric pills and snags easily not very durable. I have only had these pants for a few months, and they already look very worn. I am very careful when I wash them. Turning them wrong side out and washing them separately on delicate and hang them to dry. I purchased 3 pairs at $79 each is pricey. I wish they would make them of a more durable fabric. For this reason I will not be purchasing any more in the future unless they improve the fabric.

Wonderful, comfortable pants, but they have a huge drawback. The cargo pocket is too small to fit a phone and a phone doesn't fit nicely in any of the other pockets. LL Bean! Please redesign! In all other respects, these are my go-to pants.

Nice light weight pants, only issue is all the pockets are too small to hold a cell phone that is 6.5"x3"

Love these pants - now have them in 4 colors (and 3 colors in the capris). Only reason I rated 4 stars is the drawstring at the elastic waist. I always cut the strings shorter and just tie knots in them. I am 5'7", 144 lbs and the medium fits perfectly.

Compared to the large petite pants, the fit in the waist & hips of the medium petite is excellent, but I wish there were a bit more ease in the legs. Also, it appears that the pockets have shrunk to such a degree that they just aren't as functional. Pockets aren't for decoration --- they need to be big enough to hold real things!

I don't like to complain because I do absolutely love these pants. I have every color; however, for some reason I had to return two different pairs because the seam over the knee area started to come apart. Quite frankly I don't know why they put seams above the knees rather than a solid straight pant leg. Also, the last pair that I purchased, the fabric seemed to wrinkle easily - never had this problem. Not a big deal, but just wondered if there was a change in the fabric? I do love these pants so I will continue to purchase them - just need more colors because I already have them all! P.S. Took several pairs on vacation and they took up so little space in the luggage!

These pants feel light and wonderful, and the Medium Tall option means that they are actually long enough for me. The cut is quite baggy on me and I don't think I'll win any fashion awards, but what the hey. Pockets galore, but I wish the thigh ones were a bit larger. The waist drawstring keeps my pants up when the pockets are full, but I might replace it with a cord that isn't stretchy. So these pants aren't perfect for me but they are so comfortable that I'll be wearing them a lot, and overall I'm happy.

This is my 4th pair of Vista Camp Pants. I love them. Excellent for travel - don't wrinkle, shed dirt, quick dry and VERY comfortable. Fabric is very soft and stretchy. No pilling. I'm 5'4 - 117 lbs - ordered sm. I like the loose fit. Great for warm weather - not too heavy.

I loved these pants when I first got them. The material is very thin, almost see through when you hold it up to the light, but I was willing to let that pass. In fact I like them so much I ordered four more pairs. Then on one of the other pairs I ordered, I noticed after wearing them one time the thread for the seam in the center of the butt was starting to come unstitched. I sent that pair back as a return. Then I noticed the same stich coming lose today on the original pair I bought. I've worn this pair twice. I'm extremely disappointed that pants this expensive are so poor quality. I'll be inspecting the other pairs I bought and will likely return those as well.

Super lightweight for travel; lots of pockets too! Just what I wanted.

love the comfort, and fabric, but legs are too wide and long, pockets could be bigger. Only worn once so far and haven't had any pilling other reviews mentioned.

The pants fit beautifully and appeared of good quality. Yes, there is a but. I have slight neuropathy in one leg and the cargo pockets irritated the leg. I will be returning the pants. If you have good legs, I highly recommend them.

Love these pants. Have several pairs. The regular length worked for me and Im right on the edge of petite. Very comfortable. The elastic waist is nice but I dont love the tie. I removed it from my last pair. Wish the old green color would come back. I dont like the new green.
