Lightweight. Nice waistband. Wish the legs were slimmer. Good pockets.

I bought these pants prior to a two-week trip. I was specifically looking for lightweight pants with some stretch in a true navy that would pack small, could be easily washed and hung dry overnight, would look good everywhere, and had sun protection. These pants ticked all the boxes. I usually wear XL in petite pants, but I found that the rise and fit was better on me in a regular L. Cinching the hem is an option, too. The one con is that the top stitching popped in a small area on the front thigh while on my trip. I thought maybe I'd snagged it somehow, but I see that some other reviewers have also experienced this stitching flaw. Even so, I really like these pants.

These pants are perfect for hot weather gardening, as they dont cling while you are sweating. Plus they look and feel great. I held back one star for the odd feature that they get longer when you wash them, but will mostly shrink back to original length in the dryer. I was hoping to drip dry them on a trip. Darn!

I love these pants! They are super comfortable, and they protect my skin from the sun. Something I didn't like much is that the material seems to not dry very well in the drying machine. I don't mind it that much but can be timely sometimes. I love that they are adjustable at the bottom for different styles and comfort. They were a little large as they were and I get the size I always get, but the material is very stretchy and light, and they have a jaw string on the waist as well so it can fit better. I would definitely buy them again, but they need to make sure to make good colors and maybe even try a different style.

These are super comfortable, but they come very long. According to my height, I should get medium tall, but they more than drag on the ground. I'm 5 foot seven.

Now that I have the correct size, I love these comfortable, casual pants. They are beautifully made, and I love their well done detailing. They did run larger than I expected, so I had to go down a size, but I like them enough that it was worth the work of reordering.

I have four of these pants ordered previously. They are so comfortable, especially for travel. These have a straight hem. I am disappointed that you have substituted a drawstring type hem. They are just as comfortable but have a bunched look now which I do not like. I wish you would at least offer a choice.

These are not necessarily the most flattering pants, but very functional. Dry quickly, lightweight, good pockets. I have two pair, plus two pair of the Vista Camp shorts.

Great fit; frustrated with zippers on pockets, although I think they are a good idea

It would be nice if button pockets were velcro as they are hard to get in and out of if you are using them for hiking.
Material is comfortable. Style is mostly comfortable but seams across thighs can be confining when sitting.
Drawstring is too long.

Summer of 2022 I bought two pairs of the Vista camp pants and wore them most days on a two week trip to the Pacific NW in Juneterrific travel pants: light weight, didn't wrinkle, packed easily and took up mininsl space. Altho they are probably designed for hiking they were perfect for sightseeing. The black and deepest charcoal were versatile snd they fit very well. Later on a two a day sale I purchased another pair in nutmeg, an odd brown color and I rarely wear these because I don!t like the color. Recently I bought another pair on a two a day sale and the only color on sale was spruce and that color looks like the scrubs worn by hospital staffI'm sending them back because I don't like the color! As I've figured out the colors offered on two a day sale are probably the least popular colors and there are a lot of these odd colors left over. Rarely are black or charcoal pants available on sale.

I am 5'8", 140 pounds and got the medium tall which is a great fit for me. Some people might find the material a little bit scratchy, but it doesn't bother me. The material is extremely thin - great for a day when its hot and there is no wind. But on a day when there is wind, it goes through the material and makes my skin cold and uncomfortable. Plenty of pocket spaces.

I would love to be able to wear these to work. Please make a version that does not have cargo pockets.

The pant is a good summer weight, fits nice. I like the elastic waist could do without the tie. Wore them a couple of times and I'm finding snags.

I bought these pants a few years back, in Navy and Granite. Over time both pants have some pilling mostly high thigh/crotch area. It took a few years for the Navy ones to show this and the pilling is minimal but the Granite ones pilled severely within the first year. LL Bean was kind enough to replace the Granite ones with a new pair of Granite which have also pilled really badly. It's strange to me that I wear them equally, but the Blue pill very little and the Granite pill a LOT. I haven't re-contacted LL Bean about this. I like the pants so much and just figure I can try to buy them on sale and live with the pilling. I"ll be buying 2 more soon, same colors and I know the Granite will wear out sooner than the Navy but I love the fit and color so I'll keep buying them. But it's strange--seems to be the same material and yet, the Granite...
BTW, I know I purchased Petite Medium (I'm short and "chubby") but I"m not clear on the difference between inseam and size range (below). Those are guesses.
I didn't realize these have sun protection--that's part of why I rate them a "4", even with the piling issues.

I was not a fan of the bungees around the ankles on these pants I liked the pockets and the waistband was really comfortable and well suited for hiking or fitness walking. I ended up returning them.

Pants are very comfortable, light weight and perfect for summer. I feel they do run a little large and are quite expensive.

Love the fit! Great pant for the lake, because if you get wet, it dries out in no time.

I liked these very lightweight pants. I wore them in the heat of the Grand Canyon. They are a bit too long but still comfortable.

I love these pants. I now have 6 pairs plus 3 shorts. BUT, can you improve the fabric so it does not ball when washed. I took 3 pair on a 6 week trip. All were machine washed at least twice. Most of the time they were air dried. All of them had little fabric balls all over them when I returned home.

Owned these pants less than a year and use only when hiking or traveling. Not happy with the seams. Threads in areas on front of legs has come undone. Pants themselves are loose fitting so have no idea why seams, from the inside, have ripped, leaving long/looping seams on the outside.

Great pants in Navy. Tried other colors but didn't love them on me. Pockets are a little shallow on the leg for big phones but otherwise great.

Pants are great pants except the back and side leg pockets are not long enough to hold my cell phone! Also the adjustable drawstrings on hem need a bette system to cinch around ankles, some plastic cinches from a rain coat work really well!

I am really happy with these pants. They are great for warmer weather, I like the pockets and I wear them walking the dogs and they don't collect dog hair (sounds weird but if you have dogs you get it). However, there is a seam in the middle of the leg that falls across my knee which bothers me sometimes and I do not like how far out the buttons hang. Someone did tell me I looked like I was wearing scrubs which made me think twice.
