So comfortable. They are a bit on the large side but that just makes them more comfortable. If you like a form-fitting pant, order a size down.

These pants are light weight. They are very durable when my two big dogs jump on me. They are tear resistant. They have ample pockets for cell phone and etc. Easy to care for.

I bought my first pair of these pants last year. Now I have 5 pair, one in each color. Comfortable for travel and they take up very little space in my luggage as they are so light. Took them to hot steamy Thailand. They offered good sun and bug protection yet were nice and cool. The elastic waist is great! I also have the shorts and capris. Great pants!

The most comfortable pants ever, not just for hiking but for yoga class. (Better than pants made for yoga, which I have.)
Trying on is believing. Excellent flattering fit.
Quality fabric, ankle drawstrings and zippered pockets too. Mine are neutral charcoal gray that go with everything.
These, will quickly become your favorite pants.

When you only had black, gray and green I begged every time I ordered for these pants to come in navy. I have about 7 pairs in navy, 5 in black and 3 each in green and gray. I have the lined black ones. Now I'm asking for more colors. Read your reviews - we don't just wear these pants traveling or climbing mountains. We wear them to work and need decent colors. The new color went back - you called it almond. It was brown.

I love these pants. Extremely comfortable for hiking and lounging around the house. I own 2 pair which are lined and 3 pair of the unlined. Will not hesitate to buy more. My husband has expressed regret that there is not a similar product available for men.

I could live in these pants. I bought them to wear when I am volunteering at our local animal shelter (cleaning cat cages, mopping, sweeping, snuggling with animals) and they are perfect. The material is soft and breathes well. They move with me and hold up to harsh wear and tear conditions. I'll wear them for hiking and camping too. I think they run a tad large. I bought XS and they are plenty long enough for a 5'6" person

Last summer I ordered a pair of the Vista Camp Pants and found that they were wonderfully comfortable and good looking. I quickly ordered two more pair in the other colors offered. I have been enjoying them ever since, and this year I added a pair in the new color, brown. They are light-weight for morning exercise, and so comfortable and attractive that I often wear them most of the day.

I love these pants so much I have purchased them in 4 colors. I was very pleased that a tan color was offered this spring. They wash well and dry quickly. No shrinkage noticed. I hang to dry and they don't need ironing. Other customers have mentioned that they found snags or pilling on them after everyday use but that hasn't happened with mine.
My only minor complaint is that they run a tad bit long in the leg.
Overall, I'll thrilled with them.

A wife's review: I love my Vista Camp Pants so much I ordered several pairs in every color!
Size: larger than expected. I highly recommend trying them on in a store. I normally wear a large (12-14), but the medium fit perfect! They make me feel tiny. =)
Cost: yes, they are expensive. However, you absolutely get what you pay for, and I'd gladly pay more for these pants...they're that awesome!
Travel: truly the perfect pant. You can wad them up and stuff them in a suitcase; the wrinkles will come out after about an hour of wear. Water resistant, so you can wear them in rain and stay dry. Light weight and perfect for warm weather. Roomy enough to wear thermals under and not have seams showing through.
Wear: rugged enough for my outdoor activities, but tailored enough for me to wear to Mass when I travel (though I think the black ones look best for this).
Washing: super low maintenance. Great if you need to quickly wash pants in the middle of a trip. They dry in practically no time!
Complaints: really none. Do wish they had lined pants in petites and more colors. Definitely tuck in the hems or roll up your pants if you're biking a lot. Thankfully the rip-stop fabric keeps me from tearing holes in them.

These are the best pants EVER! I have 10 pairs and 4 in the Capri version, that should say it all! I only wish they came in more colors in the Capri's. They are comfortable all year round, they wash great with no wrinkles, they have all kinds of pockets with zippers and buttons, they are sooo comfortable (like wearing pajamas), they can be dressed up (I wear them with heels) or dressed down (I wear them hiking), and they look great! They are a relaxed cut so I get them a size smaller than usual and they fit perfectly.

I have had these slacks in black for several years and just ordered another pair in a lighter color. I'm traveling in March on a trip that will involve some hiking and climbing in and out of boats. These should work well. I like the zippers on the back and thigh pockets. The Large fit well.

I have all 5 colors, and love them all. They are the ultimate in comfort, and have an elastic waist with a pull string. I love all the pockets, and they don't add bulk. The material is lightweight for spring, summer and fall. I feel they are a bit cool for winter, but I bought them in the lined version for winter. I'd buy more LL Bean if you came out with even more colors like dark brown. The best LL Bean!

I love these pants. Not only can you wear them for hiking but I wear them to play pickleball in the winter when the gyms get cold. Also nice for cool summer nights, between seasons, or just hanging around the house.. Light weight and comfortable. I'm buying another pair in a smaller size because I have lost some weight. I have not had any problems with this product.

LL Bean's Vista Pants, Comfort Trail Pants, and Vista Trekking Shorts recently got me beautifully through three weeks of semi-serious hiking. For anyone wanting to compare, I found that the Comfort Trail Pants were more like regular pants in shape and fit, while the Vista Pants felt a bit more unstructured, like pajamas. The Trail pants had more substantial fabric, while Vista pants seemed to have lighter-weight material - good for different temperature days. I haven't noticed a single problem with snags, pulls, or holes - even after climbing down a few rocky places on my behind! The shorts are equally terrific. All three have a slightly different arrangement of zippered and buttoned pockets, but all are deep enough to hold phones and other essentials - the only danger there is that I got so used to having these great pockets, that it was annoying to go back to regular pants without them. I definitely plan to order more for future trips. My husband 's a huge fan of LL Bean's Cresta Trail shirt - great pockets, versatile weight - I wish LL Bean had a women's shirt equivalent, but I can't find one...

I bought my first pair of these for fishing in the summer. They were great! The fabric is very lightweight, yet provides sun protection; it dries very quickly. The cut is comfortable and stylish for outdoor activities. I recently bought 2 more pairs to wear when working outside and in the barn. Just love 'em!

Love these pants for traveling. They are very lightweight so don't add to weight of the suitcase. They dry quickly when washed. They are extremely comfortable. The only complaint I have is they run big in the waist. These pants wouldn't be good in cold weather as they are very light. Also, they wouldn't work if you went to a really nice restaurant. But, for average weather and casual wear, they are great.

Excellent for travel especially when abroad and relying on laundromats. Comes out of the dryer ready to wear or out of the washer to hang and dry overnight, my preference.

This was the third pair of these pants that I ordered. They have enough give for being comfortable hiking pants. I just wish they would again get the cropped ones. I like both lengths.

These are what I call "set you free" pants. If you have a little extra weight often jeans can get uncomfortable. These are a nice comfortable alternative. Have not tried them in chilly weather but will. Would not have purchased without the cargo pockets. You can run in the store hands free!!!
