I've had these pants for a year now and am very happy with them. I just ordered a second pair. I haven't experienced any of the pilling problem that some reviewers mention. I put them in a mesh garment bag before I toss them in the washer; maybe that helps. They're fast-drying - except for the waistband, which takes awhile. The ties at the waist are pretty much just ornamental.

I use these pants for gardening in North Florida (yes I got the olive green). They keep the bugs, sun, and dirt off me. I keep them cinched at my ankles. They clean up very well. Miraculously, they are not hot. I should probably buy another color for casual wear, although the sweatband waist is about comfort not fashion. I am 5'4" weighing 120 pounds, and the petite small fits me nicely with a little bit of breathing room to spare. My only constructive criticism for LLBean would be to make either/both rear and side leg pockets big enough for a cell phone - the only pockets that can hold a phone of any size are the front pockets which looks clunky and awkward.

This was my first Women's Vista Camp pant purchase. It is difficult to find pants that fit without expensive alterations. At 5'-4", I purchased petite length with draw strings on bottom you can adjust to make shorter if you prefer. Elasticized waist with drawstring allows you to tighten or loosen for a perfect fit with no gapping at waist. Lightweight and super comfortable fabric is easy to wash, fast to dry and great to travel with. I was so happy I purchased multiple pairs. Highly recommend.

Light and very comfortable. Love the fabric. No hemming necessary with the ankle ties.

These are the best cargo pants I've ever had. They are actually flattering. Lightweight, perfect for wearing around town in PNW blazing hot weather as well as for trail walks. Love them.

I bought these a year ago; 2 different sizes. I bought them for summer hiking in the PNW mountains - they're so perfect, with drawstring ankles, and a roomy seat for bending and climbing. But they do so much more. The material has just enough stretch, but they never sag after wear. I normally hate drawstrings around the waist, but this one works perfectly. The drawstring is stretchy, so once you adjust it, there is no untying and tying (like running to the bathroom - just pull them down and back up quickly). I had to write a review after just driving 1300 miles in two days with these Camp Pants on. (In the heat, driving a huge pickup.) At the destination, these pants didn't look slept in, and were STILL my preferred pants. I drove through 100+ degree heat, and they're light enough for the breeze to blow through and not get sweaty. I do suggest that if you can wear 2 different sizes already, select the smaller size. I have a Medium in my closet that I can't wear. Not suitable for work, but for everything else you need to do!

I first ordered the Regular Vista Camp pants and then ordered the Slim-Leg Vista Camp pants. I really love both styles. They are very comfortable and the light-weight is good in the summer.

These pants fit well, and are very comfortable to wear. I wear them over shorts on cool mornings when we go fishing. Once it warms up, I can take them off.

Vista camp pants are my favorite. I have all colors in long pants and all colors in the capri style. Easily washed, soft and comfortable and zippers on the pockets.

This was the first time I purchased these pants. I love the look, fit and feel of material. They are very comfortable perfect for warm weather. I have purchased another pair.

I had ordered these in a small, and they were way too large. I reordered in x-small, which usually would be too small for me, but they fit perfectly. These pants run very large. They are well constructed, reinforced in all the right places, extremely comfortable, and fit well. They are of beautiful quality. The material is light weight yet durable. I will be able to wear them for camping or around town. I will probably order them in another color. I ordered hazelnut because it was on sale.

These pants take me from home to yoga studio to grocery store and back again. Comfy, non-binding and lots of pockets. Got my first pair about 3 years ago (gray) and lived in them through COVID. The hazelnut color is lovely but I need to find a top to go with it.

I'd give these pants more stars if I could. First off they are so lightweight and comfortable, they have a nice stretch so nothing is tight when moving around, even at the stitching on the legs. I wore these kayaking and got absolutely soaked when my dog joined me, they dried quickly and extra bonus the fur doesn't stick to them. I will absolutely be buying them in other colors. Being curvy and tall it has always a struggle to find outdoor pants. I couldn't be more pleased.

I love these lightweight pants with the ability to tighten at the ankles. The high waist is very comfortable with ties to tighten if you want, and the hips aren't too tight. The length was perfect for me. They are my new favorite summer pants.

Perfect summer pants. Fabric is very lightweight. Super-comfortable! Love all the pockets. The only caution is that fabric can snag easily on sharp objects.

I donetimes Have trouble with length. These are plenty long and a little loose fit. Very lightweight. I am Always hot but can't wear shorts all the time. These are perfect

I needed some long pants for birding in the summer. These are perfect. They are very light weight, yet well made. The side pockets have zippers. Wish they came in Khaki.

I bought these for gardening. They're great; light weight, a bit of stretch. They run large. I bought a medium the first time then bought two more pairs in small. I like the length of the Tall better.

I wear these pants for walking and with each step I get a nice cooling burst of air. If you have a waist that is much smaller than your hips, it's great to be able to pull the stretchy drawstring and customize the fit while still having enough room in the hips. I could go either XS of S but the S was more comfortable and leaves more room for air flow. The fabric and fit are great. I love the zip and button pockets and the styling gives me an adventurer/explorer feeling that is fun. Highly recommended!

These are my new "go to" pants! I have several pairs in different colors and lengths. Next time I'll order med tall instead of regular for the long pants so they don't hike up when I sit down. Love the weight of the fabric and the pockets!! They cover my legs/thighs without being too warm or binding like yoga or workout pants.

My friend bought these pant for herself and told me how comfy they are so decided I would buy a pair for myself. Love the material, true to size and perfect length for me. Washed well and laid out to dry. At my age it is all about comfort and these pants certainly fit the bill. Plan on buying in other colors as well.

Actually long enough, loose enough in the thigh, and a sufficient rise to cover my rump! Thank you!
