Absolutely my favorite pants! I have every color in both long and cropped lengths. I wear them year round, and often get compliments on the fit and drape. They look good on every body type and do not shrink in the laundry. You can pair them with a casual tee or a nice sweater. I wear these nearly every day. Please don't ever stop making them. A little pricey, but worth every penny. They sometimes pill where the fibers get a lot of friction. I just use a gleener to remove the pills gently.

I love them. I'm taking them on a hiking trip in Norway. They're easy to pack and wash and dry quickly. I ordered a second pair.

Love these pants. So comfortable. I tell my husband they are like wearing pajamas. Lots of pockets. I think they look cute paired with a split hem sweatshirt (also LLB) and a turtleneck (for colder days). I have four pair. They wash well and come out of the dryer needing absolutely nothing else but hanging in my closet. Highly recommend. Will definitely order again.

Over the past two years, I have purchased 4 pairs of these pants (black, grey, tan, and green) and I'm getting ready to buy more (lost weight and need a smaller size now). I love them! I hardly wear anything else, unless "dress code expectations" absolutely require something dressier. I'm retired, so I can wear whatever I choose most of the time--and I choose these.
The fabric and fit are very comfortable for hiking/walking, shopping, sitting around the house, gardening, airplane rides, very long car rides (we did a 6-week road trip through the Midwest, mountains, and west coast; I wore one of these pairs almost every day, and was very comfortable). These pants are lightweight yet strong enough to stand up to hiking in warm summer weather in a variety of climates--WI, UT, CO, OR. True winter-weather walking or snowshoeing requires another layer underneath but that's not an issue with these pants, since the elastic waist allows a bit of expansion to accommodate a thin underlayer. The fit is casual and relaxed, which I prefer, but if you're looking for a really close fit (like hiking tights), these are not the choice for you.
And I love the pockets! There are several and, together, they offer plenty of room for my cell phone, glasses & sunglasses soft case, a small microfiber towel when hiking, ID & credit card, and some cash (which I keep in zippered pockets so there's good security for these important items).
I bought my first pair of these pants 2 years ago and have worn them a LOT (at least once per week). They have held up well--I have not had any issues with the material pilling or ripping. They machine wash & dry easily too (and dry fast, even if hung to dry as I often do when traveling).
These pants do NOT have zip-off legs so you can't turn them into shorts. But that doesn't bother me at all, since I never use that feature in other pants I've had that offer this. In fact, I like these better because the added leg zipper in those other styles makes them a bit more bulky (not a lot, but some) to pack.
LL Bean folks--Please don't EVER change the design of these pants!

I'm really pleased with how these pants fit. They were reasonably priced. I would recommend these pants to all my friends without a doubt. I would bye them again. They run true to size.

I bought these along with the lululemon scuba dance pant, and immediately returned the lululemon pant. They have a similar style, except this pant is cheaper, feels higher in quality, and actually has different inseams to choose from!

I purchased these pants for an upcoming Safari trip to Botswana. They are lightweight, sturdy and loaded with utility! My only suggestion would be to switch the bulky pocket buttons for snaps and to have a better functioning drawstring at the waist (rather than stretching elastic). The pants do fit on the large side, I am 5'3" and weigh 115 lbs so the XS would have probably been a better fit but I wanted the pants to fit loosely. Only problem is they start to slide down when I have my iPhone in the pocket! Would recommend these pants if you are looking for comfort and utility!

I have a black and a gray pair of the vista camp pants and probably will purchase another in a different color. I wear them all the time. These pants fit perfectly and are so comfortable, and they wash and dry well.

Very comfortable pants. I really like the elastic waist and drawstring. No zippers, no buttons or snaps to fumble with or forget to refasten. I added spring cord locks to the leg drawstring. It just makes them easier to tighten and loosen. If the side cargo pockets were deep enough for my phone to stay in they would be perfect. I'm thinking of how to alter it. The phone zips in the seam side pocket and stays, I just like it in the cargo pocket better.

Perfect in every way. Light and airy, stretchy with functional pockets. Casual but not overly casual. Great for curvy ladies like me! I like them so much I have 3 pairs.

I enjoy the stretch fabric. The zip pockets are excellent to hold your keys and phone. This is the 5 th pair I have purchased.

Love these pants. Very light weight, will dry very quickly. I bought for an upcoming trip to the rain forest in Costa Rica, but know they will be useful on hot summer days. Fit is loose and comfortable. The bottom has a pull string to pull them in.

I bought these pants to use as maternity field pants for my job. It's remarkably difficult to find high quality outdoor pants with a stretchy waist. These are so comfortable on my baby belly! I'm hopeful that I'll still get a lot of use out of them after birth because I can simply use the drawstring to cinch the waist back to a more normal size. My only beef is that they snag on brambles, but that is to be expected with this type of fabric.

I have purchased 4 pairs of these lightweight easy to wear pants. Love the fit, the feel and the easy care- just throw them in the dryer after washing- no wrinkles. They hold up for travel- no stretched out knees after sitting and they are dressy/casual, so they go anywhere.

This is the third pair of the Vista Camp pants I've gotten. The other two I've had for years and they still look great. Most comfortable pants I own!
