These pants looked ridiculous. The legs are really baggy. I am so disappointed. Maybe it's a defect.

The fabric started pilling after only a few times wearing them. Fabric also not what I expected in that it seems flimsy/doesn't hold any shape.

These pants were disproportionately big around the waist but fit well elsewhere. Good pockets, nice material, but not comfortable

I loved these at first but once I washed them, they lost their shape and became really baggy, and the material is starting to pill. I would have expected these to hold up better for the price I paid.

Customer service is gracious but the exchange group must be overwhelmed. These camp pants are very spacious. The size I bought is too large so I requested one size smaller. I was sent an email telling me the replacement would be TWO sizes smaller. I called customer service they transferred me to the exchange folks. That was yesterday still haven't heard if I can just cancel the order or they can exchange to the size in between. The original error was mine but usually LL Bean is right on the ball and responds more quickly.

These are my favorite pants, I have three of them, black, grey, and tan. The pants fit well, are comfortable, and keep me warm even on cold days.

An elastic drawstring...CANNOT tighten comfortably and it will roll in waistband! And, cuffs that snug-up - great idea...except now you have a loop with NO place to put it to keep it clean - the loop is on the outside of the pants! Yes, you could tuck it under the cuff.... LL Bean - usually winners at design - proactively missed out here.

The only thing to like about these pants is the zippered pockets. What was I thinking: didn't note the fabric content. Don't know how anyone can wear this fabric! Guess I'm a cotton girl. And price outrageous, even on sale. And by the way, so disappointing that you offer a dearth of women's WOOL sweaters. You asked!

The fabric pills after a few washes. I purchased two pairs and had to throw them out because they looked so bad. I also purchased similar pants in the ripstop fabric and they are 100% better. Stay away from the Vista fabric.

The tie for the waistband is elastic which allows it to sag when my phone or anything else w/a bit of weight was put into a pocket. The fit was fine, except for needing to make the waist smaller, so I am really disappointed. I was/am looking for comfy pants w/pockets big enough for my phone to wear around the house. I'm 5'2" & wear a size 8 or 10 petite.

Returned to store, they were 2 feet longer than my legs. And, I ordered the same kind that I wear.

I wanted to love these pants, but had to return them after a month because of pilling.

The fit is not up to LLBean standards. Large in hip areaI usually wear a medium size, but these pants are way off. Material is very flimsy. Wrinkles easily. Not the same quality of camp pants purchased two years agosadly, had to return them.

Sorry, as I buy and enjoy many other items in the LL Bean catalog but these pants fall far from the mark. Here's why. 1) The material is like dress pants rather then comfy yet down to earth pants. A stretch material is much better. 2) The elastic at the waist needs continual pulling to tighten. Much better to have a draw string that does NOT stretch. 3)The buttons to close the pockets are a hassle if you actually use pockets as I do. Much better to have a velcro closure or a snap. 4) The squarish pockets on each side are too small for usefulness. 5) The side pockets are a bit too small. Larger side pockets would not need a zipper but the zipper itself is not objectionable. 6) The legs are quite a bit too wide. It feels like pajamas to wear these pants. Unfortunately, I had these pants shortened before properly trying them out. I have to keep them but will surely not buy this item again. I'm off to locate pants that correct all these faults and will buy about four pairs. Normally I can count on L.L. Bean for really outstanding items but not this time. I'll still remain a customer but am on the hunt for pants elsewhere.

I am out of the return window, but initially the pants were great, an oversized fit which I love. I always wash and hang dry. After 6 months, give or take, the pants started pilling. Each wash it seems to worsen. Now they look old and frumpy. Disappointed!

Like many of LL Bean's women's pants, these are also too short. I usually wear a 32-33" inseam, and these have that high water look. Darn it!! Love the fabric; I'd hoped these would work.

I was very disappointed with these Vista Camp Pants. The fabric has an unusual pebbly texture and feels itchy to the touch and on my legs. There is a horizontal seam on the front lower thigh (going still lower on the back of the leg), which further irritates the skin. The vertical width of the legs is uneven, with puckering. The zippered front pants pockets have no depth. It's hard to say the pants fit "true to size" because part of it did fit, but the waist did not. The really odd this is that the pants have larger than usual elastic waist with no belt loops, and of all things, an elastic drawstring! How is that supposed to work??? I ordered these pants partially based on the reviews. It's a puzzle to me why people would rate them so highly considering all of the issues that were readily apparent.

The pants are petite but if you are 5ft or a little shorter they are Just too long. Even if you tighten them they just don't look right. Disappointing.

Ankle was huge with just a drawstring. No cinch. Length was regular but covered my foot! I had ordered for a trip but had to return them. And the medium felt big around the hip.

Love the fit, pockets and light weight but the fabric pills after two washes - especially prominent on thigh and rear areas. This makes them scratchy to the touch and ugly.

The fabric on these pants pilled terribly, right from the start. Very disappointed with the quality - they do not live up to the LL Bean name.

I have two pairs of this style of pants and both have "pilling" down the front of the legs, so much so that I really do not enjoy wearing them. The fit and light-weight fabric are nice but the fabric has a problem. I see there is a new style out, a "Jogger" but, I would never purchase them due to this problem.

This material is like parachute silk. Not like cotton or light weight at all. Too warm for summer. Disappointing purchase.

I wanted these pants for hiking /gardening, and they needed to carry stuff in pockets. Should have read other low star reviews. Pockets are too shallow for little notebooks or cellphone or garden tools. Would easily lose things from them! For me they were not a comfortable fit either.Waist was too low and pants too long.
