These pants are very thin. Not what I was looking for so I sent them back.

The fabric was great, but for a size petite xs, it was too big and too long, it would have been a perfect
if the fit ws right

These are such great pants (pockets, fit, colors), but the fabric pills like crazy, which makes them uncomfortable against the skin and doesn't look good. If they could fix the fabric issue, these would perfect pants!

Too loose in the waist and hips. The thigh pockets are too shallow for smart phones.

Very strange as I lived the cropped version of this pant - lightweight, super comfy and quick drying. But somehow the full length pant looked a bit dumpy - like I didn't have a great fitting pant on. I kept for gardening or outside when I want sun protection kayaking or walking the neighborhood but wouldn't wear out w friends. Too baggy.

I thought I had found the perfect, lightweight hiking pants. They were very comfortable, I liked the cinched in bottom of the pant leg, and I liked the color. Unfortunately they started to pill right awayand within a couple of hikes, the material was ridiculously pilled. All over. They were unwearable. It was so disappointing. I bought them in navy as well, and though the pilling is not as visible on that color, it is just as maddening. I would not purchase these again.

Hi, I love the way these pants look and fit. Unfortunately, the top stitching on both thighs, and now stitching on the waistband are all coming undone. I'm returning this pair to see if the next will have the same problem. I would like to buy more if the unraveling stitches are just a fluke, otherwise can't see buying new pants that need repair from nearly day one.

They are very comfy and like the drawstring on the ankles but the fit is not at all flattering for larger bottoms or thighs... If you don't care about that, they're fine.

First let me say these pants are so comfy. The shape and fit is great, the material stretches easily, and there are lots of pockets. I got the russet-colored ones and the color is rich and just what I expected.
However, one of the reasons I chose these pants was the drawstring, and that's the pants' major failing. The drawstring is stretchy, which at first glance seems really convenient: I can take the pants off without untying the drawstring! But the stretchiness means that it's nearly impossible to get the waistband comfortably snug. And once you put anything in your pockets, the pants start creeping towards the floor. Worst of all, the drawstring is sewn into the casing in the back, so I can't easily change it out for a sturdier one!

First I was surprised something labeled as camp pants would be delicate cycle washable.
Secondly I noticed a snag in the fabric after only wearing them twice and just for average every day wear.
I was expecting something more rugged and durable and am disappointed.
They are very comfortable but not worth it since they can't even hold up to daily activity

I really wanted to like these pants. LL Bean stopped offering women's Tall pant sizes a while ago, so I was happy when I saw that these come in a 33" inseam, especially since it's nearly impossible to find functional cargo pants for women at all, let alone in a longer length. So I ordered them. Well, if I had seen and felt them in the store, I doubt I would have bought them. First of all, they are a little pricey. The fabric is nice but very thin - hopefully it holds up and doesn't wear out too soon, but it seems pretty flimsy. The cargo pockets on the side of the legs are not deep enough. I tried putting my cell phone (iPhone 11) in the pocket and could not button the flap. Also, those buttons are off-center, which looks a little odd. If they made some minor adjustments to the pockets it would be a big improvement. On the positive side, these pants are comfortable. I won't bother returning them, but I also wouldn't order them again.

I am still making adjustments to the pants so they fit. The ankle straps were the first things to go. Then I shortened the legs. They have plenty of very lightweight, floppy nylons, snaggy fabric That is not the main issue. The fabric concerns me as they are marketed as "camp pants", but I'm pretty sure that near a campfire is the last place I would wear them since they appear to be flammable.nylon and spandex. Very little cotton -like material here! Is this true?I have been a loyal buyer of this brand for years, but this pant is just sub all around. Sorry LLBEAN.

When I say too large, I mean that the legs of this pant are extremely wide. Super comfortable but I could not wear in public. Looks like they're the bottom half of my clown costume. Picture shows them roomy but this is ridiculous.

These pants have two decorative seams that cross diagonally across the front of the thigh down towards the knee that make the pants very uncomfortable! The seams rubbed against my legs and were very irritating. I really wanted these pants to work but unfortunately, I had to return them.

Sweet:Loved this pant: fit, versatility, light weight, pockets. Bitter: after 1-2 months material started pilling! So, disappointing. Aren't camp pants supposed to be made of long lasting, rugged material? What's going on LL Bean? Aren't your clothes being field tested anymore for endurance? Are they just made for your models? Yes, this sounds very bitter and for that I'm sorry.

I love these pants. I got 2 pairs at an LL Bean store when traveling. Loved the fit and comfort. I just wore a pair the other day and washed it and was disappointed how it was pilling. Hopefully I can return both pairs. The is disappointing esp for the price paid.

The fit is fine, but the fabric is fragile. I wore them outside in the garden and within a short time realized there were snags and pulls in the fabric. I was not walking through a briar patch! So these are fine if you spend your day on a reclining sofa, but not suitable for a normal active lifestyle, let alone as "camp pants".

I would give these a 5 if they didn't pill. Their life is short before they look raggedy. I am so disappointed. They fit fine and are comfortable but even with light wear they pill and look lousy.

They are comfy, looked great, but snagged on everything. They "pilled" all over and I could only wear them around the house :-(

They really bunch up in the front. Combination of material , gathering at waist in front and pockets make them really pouch out in front and back slide down when sitting; and bending; so am sending back

I like the fabric, the weight, the color, the fit and the concept. Here's the issue ... the pants are long, which would be great if the ankle closures did their jobs. They are fabric, not elastic, and tie instead of fastening with a toggle. They don't stay tied. If these pants are redesigned to have an elastic and toggle close at the ankle, let me know. I'll be at the head of the line to purchase, because I like everything else about them.

The fabric is great but there is a double bound seam around the leg on the thigh, a couple inches above the knee, and it CHAFFS . This takes away from the comfort especially on hot day. Had wanted them for hiking but not comfortable after 10 min.
Bought the capri style of same pant and it does NOT have the seam. Love them. Will get a second pair of capri.

Part of the description for these pants reads as: "We designed this best-selling pair from rugged nylon that stands up to even the most rigorous hikes."
I wore them ONCE, and the snagging that occurred around the lower legs has rendered them unwearable a second time. Not very rugged! Truth be told, I did wear them in Scotland, while hiking over some very rough trail-less terrain that included bashing through waist-high heather. They'd probably be fine for most trail hikes, but I've read from other reviews that they don't wear particularly well over time. It's a shame, because they're very comfy, and they dried very quickly.
I'd enquired whether it'd be possible to receive a replacement without returning the original pair, because I'd end up more out of pocket by the time I'd paid shipping to/from the UK (I'd bought them in the US during a visit last year). I offered to provide photos of the damage, but was told no, the original pair had to be returned in order to receive a refund or replacement. It's a shame, as LLBean customer service used to be second to none.

I am so disappointed in these pants. They feel great and look great. I love all the pockets and the fabric. The big problem is the pilling after 4 washing and wears. They are so shabby looking. I expect pants at this price to look great for a couple of years. I note that a lot of people complain about the pilling. LLBean is sending a new pair. Some people state if you wash them inside out they do not pill. I will try this with the new pair. So disappointed.
