I have 6 various styles of Vista/camp pants, all this material, some long, some capri, some zip off legs all from previous seasons. I love them, the quality, the functionality; hot weather, keep the bugs off, or cold weather, even add an underlayer. My phone fit in the side or front pockets of all of them. On the new versions, PHONES DO NOT FIT ANYWHERE, unless you have a tiny flip phone. I am a very active outdoorswoman, I do not carry a purse, wallet, etc, I expect my pockets to be 100% functional and carry my critical items. Phone, $, CC, chapstick. Cannot do that in these new styles. Two to three years ago, these were functional pants for outdoor sports. They no longer are. I mentioned these issues in the store many times, and while employees agree and sympathize, corporate is not listening.

Size L nearly falls off of me. So I ordered Size Medium which is way too tight. I do not understand why there is such a difference between Large and Medium sizes. Medium is more like a size Small. I am 5'8" 153 lbs.

The seam are already loose and there are snags on it already I have had them less than a month

I loved these pants initially. They are very comfortable & fit well. I've had them maybe 1 1/2 years. However, the fabric has not held up well and now it has pilled severely in the crotch area (note: I am not obese where the fabric would rub constantly in that area when walking), and the pants are no longer wearable due to how bad this looks. I've worn them maybe a couple dozen times.

I would have loved these pants, but they were too wide in the thighs for me, looking pretty baggy. Perfect length though! I bought the xs in medium tall.

I love the quality of LL Bean products, but the slacks/pants/jeans are all too big for meI'm 105lbs 5'4" and even extra small is too big

They peel and snag really easily. They also run big. Other than that they are comfortable.

i liked them.They are very comfortable and look nice. But i followed every bit of the laundry instuctions. I washed them alone, in cold water, no fabric softener. But after about 3 washes; they are really pilled and look old and worn.

Elastic waist band and basically expensive pajamas.

The material is nappy and creates small little balls, I have several pairs as they are comfortable but the stitching wears down after 6-7 washes/uses. I am looking for a different brand now.

These pants will be too long if you need a large size, but I love my Vista Camp Shorts.

I almost really loved these pants. Great fit, great material for moisture wicking and super comfortable but sadly after wearing with rain pants, they got really pilly. Also the drawstring is a mystery- it's so stretchy it doesn't really work. So close...but missed the mark.

I love the fit and look of these pants. The elastic pull string is perfect for me, as the waist is always too big to fit my hips. I have 2 capri and 3 of the long. But the fabric pills and snags after first washing. Could you make them out of the same fabric as the Comfort Trail pants? That fabric wears like iron!

The pants looked and fit great! The pockets were useless! If you are going to put cargo pockets on pants, you should design them big enough to fit a standard size smart phone. It's unfortunate because other than that they were great.

I wore these pants on a long hike. If anything, they fit rather loosely; however, frequently seams popped when I squatted or sat down. I had lots of loose threads by the time I was done. The fabric also wore poorly on one side - pilling is the closest descriptor I can find. They were very hot on the trail as well. I was really quite disappointed. I've initiated a return.

I loved the color, fit and fabric but unfortunately had to return because the top stitching stared to unravel the first day I wore them. I was very disappointed, the fit was flattering and they were so comfortable. I hope they can fix this defect.

The size small was huge on my petite frame. Plus the pants are real thin and noisy. I was disappointed.

Returned these pants. The cords around the bottoms just hanging when pulled tight were a deal breaker. Accident waiting to happen when you are hiking. There has to be a better way to do that

Fit and comfort of these pants are amazingpetite length fits perfect! They are AWFUL expensive for such low quality seam work unfortunately. I have washed them one time and I have seam stitches coming undone on the front knees alreadycan hardly believe it!

Poorly proportioned for curvy plus women. Size runs small

I can not wear the type of fabric the pants are made from. I should have read the description more clearly

I ordered these to walk the dog in wooded areas. I thought the drawstring at the ankle had cord stops to tighten & hopefully prevent ticks from climbing on. Unless you tie a knit in the cord, they stay loose. Also after 1/2 dozen washes & hanging to dry, the material is pilling & looks years older.

I love the pants but..I'm about 5'2 and your petite. Size is still too long so I have to have them altered to fit. I don't like the drawstring at the bottom as it give a blousy effect around the ankles. The pants tend to pill a lot as well.

I love the weight of these pants, very lightweight and good for summer. Drawstring pant legs are a nice feature as are the pockets. BUT and this is the reason for the bad review: I bought 3 pairs of these and handwash all of them. The material picks and threads pull, ending up with wrinkles in the pants and that cant be corrected. For the money this should not happen. I wore one pair exactly twice before the pick happened.

I ordered a pair of pants and a pair of capris in 2 different colors. They fit differently. Pants length is too short as well as the rise fits funny. Will def return and hopefully there will be more consistency in the next pair.
