The quality of the sheets and the feel of the fabric are very good, but the fit is too large for our 12" deep mattress.

I bought these to replace a set I had bought earlier. I like crisp sheets. These were well made, but way too smooth. I returned them.

We have ordered these sheets in the past and enjoyed them. The feel of these sheets is not as nice nor do they feel as cool to the touch as in the past.

The sheet fits well but other than than that it is nothing special . It's only a 280 TC sheet. It's certainly not worth $150 - maybe half that. I don't understand why Consumer Reports rated these so high.

Disappointed in fit of bottom sheet. The elastic on 4 sides is nice but not tight enough to contain sheet under mattress. Sheet is loose wrinkles. Mattress only 18 months old 13 "" should fit snugly.

Dear LLBean: I purchased this set of sheets based on 2 points:
1. The reputation of LLBean and your description of the sheets.
2. Reading the comments & ratings.
These sheets are ample in sizing for deep pockets and top sheet is a very nice size. My disappointment is that the sheet set was advertised as being "Soft and wrinkle free, that they would get even softer with every washing!"
With 280 thread count, the material felt scratchy from the first washing so not soft; they have wrinkled badly with each washing even though I got them from the dryer immediately!

Okay but not quality I thought it would have, not silky or smooth like a good percale used to have.
Fit loose on queen mattress thirteen inches new, elastic not tight.
Positive short and long side labels.. color good

Though these are good quality sheets I rated them only average and would not recommend them to a friend because they are extremely slippery. When I ordered them I assumed they would have the same crisp finish as the LL Bean percale print sheets which I like very much. Disappointing!

Not the ulta soft heavy 100% cotton sheets I bought from you 10 years ago. Has more of a smooth slippery polyester feel. Not sure what percale is?

I purchased these sheets because Consumer Reports gave them a high rating. Loved them until the fitted sheet split in half. Granted, I used them as my primary bedding for over a year before they ripped. However, I'm used to things that last. I've moved on and am trying a new brand for the next round of sheets.

Quality seems fine, but the sheets are so large that it wads up and moves all around. I have a Tempur-pedicure mattress. I should have returned them. Too large.

I purchased my first set of these sheets in 2016. This was the most expensive sheet set I had ever purchased. I loved the feel of them, but after a little over 2 years, the fitted sheet turned into Swiss cheese - multiple holes. I bought new sheets in Feb 2019. Now I have the same thing - the fitted sheet has holes in the middle of the sheet. I have never had this experience with sheets purchased at a fraction of the price. I tried to add a photo but doesn't seem to work.

I was disappointed with this purchase. I have a set of sheets I purchases 20 years ago that are, only now, starting to give out . These sheets are larger than my full sized bed. It hangs over the side and I have extra part of the pocket ( I have a 11" mattress). The cream color is really pales yellow. I also didn't like the feels of the sheets. At first I thought they were polyester, but after a wash the felt better.

I purchased these sheets because they were highly rated by Consumer Report. When sleeping, the sheets feel pretty good but the baggie fit on my queen-size bed makes them disappointing. I believe fit is an important characteristic of good quality sheets. Would I buy them again - no.

I wanted to love these sheets and I don't. They are rough on my skin even after 3 washings. I have slept on Bean sheets before at other peoples homes and loved them. Must have been a higher thread count.

Purchased these sheets based on reviews from Consumer Reports. My son and his wife love them. I wanted to love them but the beige color seemed yellow against every item in my bedroom. I just could not make them work. And white just screams against the beige and grey in my room also. Would LOVE to see a true creamy beige color. Also a gray/beige in addition to the grey/white.

For the price, I'd expect an envelope closure on pillow cases, and there isn't. Plus my white chosen color arrived with a vague pink tinge, which is annoying. As for coolness and crispness, I'm not especially feeling it. Basically feel these are overpriced sheets.

I wanted a good set of sheets that were a crisp, 100%cotton. These feel more like polyester and aren't that "crisp" cotton feel that I expected. Also, the fitted sheet is very baggy on the mattress...... and I have a very thick mattress. The top sheet is way too wide. For the cost of this set, I really didn't get what I had expected. They aren't a bad quality, just not what I expected according to the description. Would never spend this money again.

The color I bought was silver sand and it is a lovely color. But the texture of these sheets is odd for 100% cotton percale, not crisp, but smooth. They actual feel like cotton/poly sheets, so I suspect there is a coating on the fibres of some sort. I have washed them quite a few times in warm water but they still feel the same. On the positive side, they do not wrinkle nearly as much as old fashioned percale so I do not iron the pillowcases, just throw them on the bed and they look fine.

In the effort to make the fitted bottom sheet ample, it is too loose and bunches up during the night. It is easy to make the bed, but a little uncomfortable at night. Pillow cases are too short for the pillows.

These sheets are well made and generous in material so they fit nicely. They are comfortable and keep their shape. The downside is that they stain easily with skin oil so the pillow cases in particular get large oil spots where a face touches the fabric. They need extra care while laundering in order to reduce the oily areas. Disappointed.

Paid a high price for mediocre sheets that don't stay on the mattress well. Think I'll go to Costco for the next set, like my wife recommended.

These are the smoothest sheets I've ever bought. They feel very cool on the skin. I love them. Unfortunately, the fitted sheet is too wide and long for our king size bed. The corners literally hang over the edge of the mattress. Sheet suspenders keep the corners down, but by morning, my husbands side of the bed is a wrinkled mess. He's decided he wants to sleep on our 'back-up' sheets which aren't quite as nice, but fit snuggly.

First impression is that for the money, I was hoping for a softer sheet. These sheets were almost a fail with the wife. Hoping that time/multiple washing gives a better assessment for softness as well as longevity....I'll try to update if they allow...

Fitted sheet does not fit my Casper Queen (12 in thick) very well at all. White sheets are somewhat pinkish. I do like the crisp feel of the sheets though. Considered returning, but general hassle and annoying cost of return weighed against, so I kept the sheet set.
