These are expensive, but there appears to be twice as much cotton by weight, as the designer stuff with all sorts of higher thread count that we had been buying. It is fair to say that we got twice as much sheet as we did with web and big box store products, including the size of the flat and fitted sheets. The Bean stuff also feels better and is warmer.

Nice crisp sheet set. Deep fitted sheet fits my very thick mattress nicely. I'm not sure if they are worth the price though.

We needed cool feeling sheets for when it's hot, and these are just right for that.

The side panels on the fitted sheet can be too long on a queen size

I like them very much. But I don't seem to feel that they are as luxurious or as cool as I thought they would going to feel. So I guess I'm a little disappointed after reading (in wirecutter?) that they were so superior. Maybe I'm missing something??

The sunshine yellow sheet set was very attractive in the box. It seems well made but only time will tell. Everything about the order process went smoothly and anyone I spoke to was nice. The fitted king sheet does seem to be extra large. We have a substantial "Avacado" brand mattress and the sheet is closer to "baggy" than "snug."

Beautiful blue color sheet set made of high quality percale cotton will probably be great for most customers. Unfortunately, the percale slips on our new Temperpedic mattress, causing the fitted bottom sheet to pop off in the night. A mattress pad would probably solve the problem but we were told not to use a mattress pad with a Temperpedic mattress.

Well made, very smooth sheets. Would be 5 stars if the pockets were not too deep on the fitted sheet. LL Bean (and everyone else) -- some of your customers have mattresses that are less than 10" thick. And when the pockets are too deep, the fitted sheet shifts and wrinkles uncomfortably.

The sheets sleep cool which I wanted but they are more scratchy than I expected.

fit the bed nicely without coming off the corners. The pillow cases are not soft on the face so use another pillowcase. Hopefully they will soften up with washings.

They fit our California King perfectly. These do not have a crisp feel- more of a smooth feel.

Good Quality sheets. Need to be washed several times in warm water to soften. I wish the pocket depth was an inch or two longer or that they offered an "Extra Deep" version

The fitted sheet needs a little bit tighter elastic. I've got a standard queen, but the bottom sheet is slack instead of neatly fitted.

These sheets are comforting to the body and have a freshness about them every time to you get in bed.

The color was just as I pictured! The sheets did not feel as silky as I had expected from other reviews; they have a sort of surface roughness that has not yet improved upon washing. But, they still are lovely sheets.

Although these sheets don't have the light, crisp feeling of percale, they do feel like quality and the yellow color is both cheery and soothing.
It only took a few washings to be able to use them (the pillow cases will have to be washed a lot more before I can sleep on them though).
The sheets are silky and thick, making them a good choice for winter, but they lose a star because they're too dense for summer, at least for me.
I prefer the feel and texture of the less expensive, lower thread count blueberry pattern which is what I expected.
They may be more for someone who isn't a hot sleeper or is thinking ahead to fall and winter.
This set seems as if it will last a very long time and I'm curious to see if they'll get lighter and less silky down the line.
But if you're looking for that aired out and dried on a country clothes line feel, keep looking.
If you want a quality sheet set that feels like it's meant to last, prefer your sheets smooth and a little thicker and don't expect a light, cool set, these might be for you.
The yellow really is gorgeous.

Sheets fit well. Elastic stays ok but could be a bit stronger.

They seem to fit well but continue to pull off at the head of the bed on my husband's side.
They are also very slippery, creeping off on his side as well. On a positive note, they are just as easy to pull back onto my side
They are cool as predicted and the color is bright and vibrant, we got the blue ones.
I'll keep them and maybe just switch out the husband ;-)

This sheet set is all generously sized. I could easily put my queen size pillow in the case. I would rather have it a little large than too tight! It washes well. Dries easily.

Seems pretty well made and I only got a tiny bit of lint when I washed and dried it first. The fitted sheet is HUGE. I have five (5) sheets sets from different manufacturers for this mattress (half flannel) and they all fit perfectly. This one took 10 minutes of lifting a tucking to get all the excess underneath. It reminded me of the Big Suit the lead singer of the Talking Heads used to where.

The queen size top sheet is very wide and hangs below the queen size quilt that I also purchased from LL Bean. I have to tuck up one side when I make the bed. Doesn't make any sense. Otherwise it's a good purchase.

These sheets appear to be well made and of good quality. The fitted sheet does indeed have a true extra-deep pocket; it's the first fitted sheet we've had in years that slips easily over all four corners of our mattress + foam topper combo. My disappointment is that they are not as "crunchy" as I like percale to be; to me, they feel more like a sateen/percale hybrid, if such a weave structure is even possible. For this reason, I am not likely to repurchase them, but if you are someone who likes a smoother percale, these sheets would be ideal.

There are quite a few reviews for this sheet set with the same criticisms: that they're scratchy and sized too large. I have not found them to be the least bit scratchy. As a matter of fact, I find them so comfortable that I'm actually sleeping better and waking up feeling more refreshed. Yes, they're expensive, but for the comfort alone it's worth the price. As for the sizing issues, it's true. I bought the Queen sized sheets and they do fit rather large. There's enough material in the fitted sheet to tuck completely under the mattress and I still have too much play on the top. Thankfully, it hasn't affected my comfort, but it doesn't have the neatest look. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

They felt like a plastic tablecloth at first. Maybe it's the sizing they use on the fabric during processing, I don't know, but they do not feel soft like cotton before you wash them. I had to wash them at least 3 times before they started to soften. I love the oversized flat sheet that keeps both me and my spouse covered with room to spare but I would have returned them if they didn't soften.
