Purchased these queen sized sheets after seeing a Wirecutter review. Love the feel of and hoping they stand up. Only suggestion would be to have tags on sides and top/bottom for identification which makes it easier to put on bed.

These sheets are an excellent choice for a "hot sleeper".

Very deep/ large sheets. A lot of excess for a regular mattress. Very comfortable.

These are the first sheets the I've ordered from LL Bean and they are so comfortable to sleep on. I'm not used to sheets that are crisp and slightly slick, as these are, but I love the feel. I've only washed them four times but I can see the advantage of the longer fibers and that is- no sign of pilling.
I've seen this in cashmere sweaters that I have washed. Department store brands become fuzzy after being washed. More expensive brands made with longer fibers stay smooth.
The only cons are: 1- I called customer service to ask if the cream color was more pale or darker. I was told that they were pale. They are not. They are more taupe. Clearly, the rep wasn't looking at the actual product and so she gave me an incorrect answer. If she didn't know, she should have said so. I don't like the color. I wish I had gotten white.
2) This is not a criticism of the product. Just saying that they are very deep pocketed to match the large mattresses that have been popular for quite a while. However, many newer mattresses, such as my new full size Saatva, are not so deep and so they do not require extremely deep pockets. That means that the bottom sheet does not fit tightly.
All in all, except for the color, I really like these sheets and I'm happy that I bought them.

These sheets are very cool, as advertised, and smooth, if a little bit slippery. They are big for our standard queen bed, possibly because it is only 13" thick. The sheets seem big in both length and width and the elastic is not very strong. All this after 3 washings. if the bottom sheet was smaller or the elastic tighter, the bottom sheet would fit better without wrinkling.

Our new sheets don't fit tight to our mattress like your flannel sheets do and our cotton duvet slides across the sheets when we're sleeping unlike other cotton sheets that we have. However, we do love the color.

So far we are pleased with the sheets set. It doesn't seem as hefty as my older set so we will see how well they hold up. While ordering the set I by mistake had only ordered a top sheet. I never knew you could order the sheets by single piece. What usually wears out for some reason is the bottom sheet gets a hole on the side my husband sleeps. For now on I'll just order a bottom sheet replacement.

I purchased these for my daughter as a gift. We are hoping they soften up over time (I love my 5yr old sheets). At this price I just wish they were a little longer and wider like other expensive sheets I have purchased in the past.

Comfortable, good-looking queen sheets after the first washing. The dimensions are significantly larger than sheets from another leading seller. The fitted sheet should fit the thickest mattress but may loosen and wrinkle on a smaller mattress. The top sheet hangs well over the side, which may be an issue if one desires full coverage with a bedspread. I'd prefer a smaller size, but others may differ.

I love the sheets, but please make them in more colors! Navy blue, a real charcoal gray.

These sheets are a generous size and fit very well. They are smooth and silky, with a very fine weave; although not as crisp as the exact ones I bought a year ago. I like the tags which indicate the long and short side, these are extremely helpful; however, I wish these tags were on every side, not just two as they are now.

Nice sheets, I was hoping to sleep cooler. The percale is very nice. It's slick, but not too. I really like the sheen and I've probably washed them 5 times, using consistently. They are easy to pull from the dryer and place back on, very few wrinkles. Beautiful sheets. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because they claimed to sleep cool, and I didn't. Perhaps it's me. I purchased the light gray and the color is pretty, sort of a taupe. These are a good purchase for us.

Comfortable sheets! The medium blue color is very pretty.
I went down a star because they are too big for the mattress.

I purchased a King set of the pima cotton percale (white) in July of 2017. I am just NOW retiring them, after 7 years of service. This was after a wash and dry cycle x1-2 per week. That's 364-728 wash cycles. Awesome. The material stayed fairly true to white and needed minimal maintenance to keep its color. The only item that didn't hold up exceptionally well was the elastic that gripped the corners of my bed - they would ride up constantly and need adjustment. But that was probably after 4-5 years of use. Also, I'm happy to see that the price has closely followed the inflation index since 2017... LL Bean is not gouging customers, like some other brands. Good on you. I tend to shop for quality first and consider price second; if this is you too then consider these sheets a good value.

They were very scratchy at first but I washed in baking soda and vinegar and that softened them up. Thick and well made, I know they will last a long time. They are very pricey but highly rated.

The fabric is lovely but the fitted sheet is very deep. It has to be tucked in & isn't as taut as other fitted sheets I've had.

Finally a fitted sheet that goes on easily! Sheets look and feel nice. And considering I used the last set every day for three years (with regular washings, of course) I would say they're also durable. Don't think I've ever been disappointed by an LL Bean product!

These sheets came highly recommended by nyt wirecutter. When they came I ran them through our washing machine as I do with any new bedding.
I immediately noticed the water was not soaking in to the fabric, but was beating off like water from a waxed car.
How is this possible, for cotton, unless it has been treated with a water repellent? Like PFAS? That would explain what makes them so smooth and silky feeling. While it's a nice sensation, I do not want to spend night after night swathed in PFAS that are triggering shocking rates of cancer among firefighters whose turnout gear is coated with it and whose firefighting foam is loaded with it. The water tables around airports and firefighting stations and military bases are horribly polluted with these toxic, carcinogenic "forever chemicals". Check out the movie Dark Waters with Mark Ruffalo.

Every other Friday I have a cleaning lady come in for about 2.5 hours, which include making my bed with "newly-laundered" sheets. She used these sheets straight from the package, and her initial reactionI guess fooled by the high cotton thread countwas that they're polyester. I had waited with trepidation for her to make the bed, because a previous reviewer had said the fitted bottom sheet was too large for a 7-inches-high mattress. It's fine, but she felt the top sheet is too big.

Sheets have very nice feel and a generous size. I love that the top sheet has ample size for two people. The bottom sheet is a little big for my mattress although other sheets are too small. Maybe tighter elastic in fitted sheet would help.

I paid more for these sheets than I would normally because of the great review on Consumer Reports. The sheets are smooth and silky and sleep very good! The only problem I have is that I have a 14 inch mattress and the fitted sheet has a very thin elastic to keep it on the mattress and there is not enough material to tuck in on the sides. The sheet does stay on the mattress and I used "garters" to help to keep the sheet more taut on the mattress.
