The "feel" is just right: smooth, but not excessively; a comfortable thickness, giving the impression of sturdiness; flexible, neither stiff nor flaccid. They launder well. The size is generous enough to fit most queen size matresses.
Overall, first rate!!

These sheets were recommended in an article I read in the New York Times, and the queen-size set I received lived up to my expectations. I especially like the all-around elastic on the fitted sheet and the extra width on the flat sheet (enough to tuck into sides of mattress). I would definitely order these sheets again and have already recommended them to friends.

I think they are soft and comfortable. Getting ready to order another set. We have had this set now for at least 5 to 8 years and expect them to last a few more years. Most surprising is that there is absolutely no pilling.

I've bought new sheets this year, my old ones were gettiing worn. I bought two percale sets from another vendor that felt greart but were a tight fit on the bottom. Wirecutter recommended LL Bean as the best. I've found them to be superior in fit and finish. Buy them.

My first supply of these sheets lasted years and years, and I recently replaced them with new sets. The quality hasn't changed at all. Crisp, smooth, breathable and comfortable. If I dry them on low, the come out without wrinkles.

I have to say these are the best sheets I have ever purchased. This is my 5th set and I will never buy any other. Although they are a little expensive, they are worth every penny.

These sheets are amazing. They make getting to work on time even more difficult.

The perfect antidote to all of those high thread satin sheets that make you feel as though you are going to slip out of the bed and onto the floor.

I read in the NY Times that Wirecutter rates LLBean's 280-thread count pima cotton percale sheet set as their Top Choice. Not only are these sheets truly wonderful to sleep on, but also it's so much easier to make the bed now - both the fitted sheet and the top sheet are very generously-sized for our deep mattress and box spring.

So happy with these sheets. Best I have seen in years. Finding a quality sheets is not easy these days. The size has shrunk, material is usually very thin. I will be recommending to friends and family.

I purchased five other sets of sheets from several other companies and returned all of them for various reasons (too scratchy, too noisy, too shiny, too thin, etc.). These LL Bean sheets were absolutely perfect in every way and I hope they never stop making them! They're smooth, soft, quiet, and cool. I love them and plan on purchasing another set of them soon.

I took advantage of recent sales and, so far, I am delighted. They don't need ironing as I take them out of the dryer when they are still a little damp and air dry them on a rack. The top sheet was a little longer than I expected but this is a fault in the right direction. I was so pleased that I have now replaced other sheets and pillow cases.

These sheets are very well made and comfortable. I like crisp sheets. These aren't so crisp but will be great.

This is my second set of these sheets (with a super-expensive and unsatisfactory set from a fancy-schmancy purveyor in between). I prefer to sleep with cool and smooth sheets (no flannel for this woman) and these perfectly fit that bill. The only frustration with the first set was the creasing/folding along the hems, but a suggestion I read here addresses that: pull them from the dryer while they are still damp (I only need 10 minutes on low to get the right dampness). Straighten and fold and slightly pull the seams to get them to stop puckering and then let them dry the rest of the way before storing or putting them back on the bed. No ironing needed. Thank you to the reviewer who described her solution!

These are a little lighter weight than I thought but are extremely comfortable. The texture, to me, feels half way between cotton and sateen.

Great sheets. It is so hard to find traditional percale sheets. I was glad to see that LL Bean still carried these. They are all cotton, soft and comfortable.

I've never written or reviewed sheets before. Or described them. After reading others reviews I would say there are crisp and cool. My last set was made from bamboo. They were silky soft. But these Pima Percales are more stiff, in a good way. The 280 thread count is a looser weave and breathes well. I sleep quite hot and really appreciate this feature. We also bought the Maine-made all cotton blanket. An excellent combination together.

I absolutely love the crisp cool feel of these sheets. I have had them for over a year, and every time I get into bed they feel as crisp and fresh as day 1. If you like soft soggy sheets, these are not for you. The fit is great, since the deep corners stay tucked and tight on my thick mattress, which is so nice after having sheets that constantly slipped. I could not be happier with the quality of these sheets.

This was a replacement set of sheets of the same kind that were originally purchased LL Bean in November, 2015. The sheets wear exceptionally well and are very comfortable. We bought two additional sets in 2016 and continue to use them.
These sheets were washed on the average of twice a week during this three year time frame and showed very little signs of wear but had faded. I would highly recommend these to anyone.
As another comment before purchasing these sheets in 2015 from LL Bean we bought sheets of supposedly the same or better quality from another vendor and they did good to last 12 - 18 months.
