After reading great review in NYT Wirecutter we purchased a set for ourselves and four of our children's households for Christmas. Am sure they will love. I don't know how LLBean did it but the fabric quality is the absolute best and the deep pocket fit our mattress with 2" mattress pads nicely.

We have never had percale sheets before so I was a little skeptical, but figured I could trust L.L. Bean for quality. We were very pleasantly surprised. The sheets are breathable and get softer with each washing. Our mattress is 12" thick and the fitted sheet is plenty big enough. I haven't noticed any shrinkage yet. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Bought them because they were highly rated by consumers report. washed them and put them on the mattress. they are very nice and bought a second My mattress is a tad large for the bottom sheet and one side came untucked.

These are the best sheets I have purchased in many years. I prefer percale sheets for how they sleep "cool"; these hit the mark. The 280 TC does not make them feel heavy, yet they do feel substantial and not cheap. The Pima cotton is a real plus -- I have a 280 TC cotton percale sheet set that is not Pima cotton from another store that does not have as soft a feel. These LL Bean sheets also do not wrinkle as much as the other brand of sheets. After washing the sheets the second time, I was pleasantly surprised to find a tag inside the fitted sheet indicating "long side" -- nice help with folding! I purchased the pastel mint color -- very nice.

These sheets feel good, wash well and make up nicely on the bed.

Label for side length a time and frustration saver. Wash and dry with ease and beauty. Feel great.
