I ordered these and I may be returning them. They feel wonderful and I love the color, but they are way too big for my bed. I even checked to be sure they weren't queens. My mattress is at least a foot thick, but the pockets are much bigger. There is no way to pull the fitted bottom sheet taut and have it be comfortable. The bed always looks rumpled even before getting in.
I need to check to see if all sheets are that size now. Still making up my mind.

Wish I had read the 1 star reviews before purchasing. These ARE slimy, some kind of coating that makes it feel like cheap polyester. Or maybe they are and the labeling/description are inaccurate? Beware....

These sheets are not the high quality I have bought from LLBean in the past. They do not feel like 100% cotton and definitely not like percale. Very thin, cold and actually somewhat slimy. If you want soft, cozy comfortable sheets, keep looking.

After reading a glowing review of these sheets in Wirecutter, (Why We Love L.L. Bean Sheets, March 2021) we excitedly purchased our first set of L.L. Bean Sheets. No more big box store or Internet warehouses for us I thought! Less than 15 months later, our fitted sheet came apart, shredded and ripped. We are BUMMED to put it mildly, not just by the performance of the material but also by Bean's 12 month warranty. We are three months too late! I read another reviewer's tale almost identical to mine. My advice: beware buyer!! Check your purchase PRIOR to the expiration of the 12 month warranty. We did not expect to have to be so proactive with a product from Bean. Now we know!

Too slippery! They don't stay put, and are oversized. They hang on the floor.

Hate these sheets-- Wirecutter rated them as best ones which is why I ordered them-- they are slippery, feeling a lot like a bad polyester and the queen ones are so oversized they are hard to fit to bed without hanging out all over. If anyone wants my set, washed and used only a couple times, I will be glad to ship them to you for free if you pay shipping. otherwise, they are going to Good Will -- I usually trust Wirecutter but boy did they goof this time.

I returned these as soon as I opened the package. The sheets did not feel like percale. They were more satiny and slippery, definitely not what I expected. I have bought sheets from LL Bean that were crisp and cool , like percale cotton, but these are not.

Really dislike the feel of these sheets. I'm hoping it's the coating, and that it eventually washes away. They feel plastic-y and slick. I've been using an earlier pair of them on another bed, but perhaps I bought the organic version before.

These are not made for a normal Queen. The fitted sheets pockets are too deep. The top sheet could fit a king? It dropped down to the floor from the head of the bed.

Please do not purchase! We have these sheets from a few years ago and loved them. They have changed. They are scratchy, cheap, and uncomfortable. I have better sheets from the cheapest discount store. No way these are the same sheets. Do not believe the Wirecutter article. There is no way they have tried the current version. Please save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. These are a complete miss.

These are itchy and uncomfortable. I had hoped they would get softer after a few washes, but they have not improved. My husband said it felt like the sheets had little barbs in them,

Now made in China, these sheets are slippery and feel like they have either been treated with some sort of coating, despite several launderings, or contain polyester. Have bought these same sheets in the past, when they were manufactured in Portugal, and the Chinese version is no comparison. Will return them for a refund.

If I had not pre-washed this twin size set, I would've returned it. Both the fitted and flat sheet are too large. I had to tuck multiple times to smooth the bed surface, and because the cotton is so slippery this has to be done each time I make the bed. The flat sheet hangs below my twin sized quilt on both sides, though I made the quilt large enough to cover a standard twin sheet. Also slippery, my quilt slides off to one side or the other so I wake up uncovered and have to reposition the quilt. I am very disappointed.

I have washed these sheets several times and they feel like sandpaper. They will not get soft which I would expect for the price. I had to change them as they were too rough to sleep on. I would not recommend them.

I don't understand why some people think these are "soft." The set we have is rough and scratchy and we are not happy that we bought them.

I did a lot of research and these sheets were highly rated in several sites. I washed them and put them on my bed and was excited to try them out. Unfortunately, they were like sleeping on sand paper. My face actually felt raw in the morning from the pillowcase. Very disappointing! These went back.

We have bought a lot of sheets from LLBean and always before have been happy with the quality...Alas, our latest purchase of 2 solid color extra long twin fitted sheets and 2 matching pillowcases, we are going to change companies. These are not the LLBean quality we have received previously. They do not feel like cotton. Sort of a slippery feel that one associates with polyester and very thin. Also, the elastic channels on the fitted sheets do not seem the same quality. Sorry LLBean, I usually like to praise your products but not this time.

I was excited when my new sheets were washed and on my bed. However, I laid down on my pillowcase and discovered they were horribly scratchy. I am so disappointed. I did a lot of research before purchasing too. The fitted sheet is also quite oversized and I have a deep mattress.

While cotton percale sheets should have a bit of crispness they should ultimately be a soft and absorbent cotton. Your "Pima Percale" feel like stiff plastic or vinyl. Horrible and I would NOT want to sleep on them so they will be returned. I guess you don't have access to the fine quality bedding of years past.it is
disappointing.
