This Large tote is well made of good materials. It will hold more than I can comfortably carry. Has a sturdy zipper for security. The straps wrap around, giving extra support. I foresee lots of use for this bag. Highly recommend.

Used this for carrying brand new electronics for one trip. Groceries for another and wet hiking boots on a 3rd trip. Rugged & water resistant. Easily cleaned. Advantage for carrying laptop or iPad as it doesn't look like the usual carrier. Can throw in some last minute clothing as well. More protective than light weight gym bag I used before. Expect we'll be ordering the Medium. A key hook in the interior would be nice. Keep it simple.

Very nice quality bag. It's a good size and the zip top holds all my thing securely. I like the versatility with the handles and the strap, so it can be carried three different ways. The personalization with my initials is an added bonus.

I bought this bag in 2011 and it held it very well. I used it for everything- for an over night trip, as a carry-on, to an outside event, a pool or a supermarket. It got tossed, dragged and rained on, and you can see it doesn't look any different from my new one. The only reason why I bought a new one is because I wanted a shoulder strap. I love it, if they make it in cuter colors, I'll buy all of them.

I love this bag. The strap is comfortable and I get compliments on the monogrammed letters. In cold weather, its perfect for hands free traveling. For the price, it is a must have. I got the camo large, medium and the black medium. Thank you LL Bean.

These totes are so good they get swiped! At least, my first one did. They are so heartily indestructible that I wont be without. This is my 2nd one, just received, I had it monogrammed this time. The embroidered 'M' was stitched into the bag with a sturdiness equal to the bag itself. That sturdiness is clearly evident in the extra heavy nylon strapping that is actually stitched into the bag, not unlike my old seabag... but not so huge. This Bean tote will carry anything in high, waterproof style and will keep it well protected. It's built to stop a train. But keep an eye on it!

Heavy duty, very roomy inside. I bought it as a work bag for my husband, who is a teacher. He fits his laptop, lunch bag, notebooks and many other items in it. It would be nice to have a separate compartment for keys and wallet, but that isn't a deal breaker since my husband usually keeps those in his pockets anyway.

This is the perfect overnight bag. Lots of room to accommodate a woman's needs

At any given time I have three or four of these bags in my car. I use them to carry everything from tools to clothes to groceries. Great bags.

As a musician, it's the perfect bag for hauling music and supplies to rehearsals! Love the addition of the shoulder strap on the black bag. I used my last one for years and even washed it on cold and hung it to dry many times.

Nice bag, but I wish it had pockets and a lock tab. Seems well made. Like the color and the sturdy material it's made of.

I use mine for my waders and boots, and as an overnight/weekend bag when I go to maine, love the zipper closure to keep everything secure!

Exactly what I was looking for to help carry a fishing tackle box. Sling it over my shoulder, 2 fishing rods in one hand and easy chair in the other. Have everything I need at my fingertips.

I have purchased 5 of these bags for my family and we all love them! They are perfect to go away for the weekend but fit more for longer trips too! We have had them for at least 5 years and they show no wear. So glad you brought the black back! We do wish there were some sort of pocket on a side, that's our only suggestion!

Great bag. A bit pricey I don't need the shoulder strap but that is minor.
