They left a horrible imprint all around the shoe and I have no idea what to do

Received my Ugg Guards as a Christmas gift and my plan was to wear them with Uggs that I barely wore (they were purchased ~2 years ago and not worn until recently as I cycle through the boots when the previous pair of Uggs are shot) in order to protect them. However, after using the Ugg guard and removing them from my boots, they left a circular wear ring around the actual boot itself. I tried to call Ugg Customer service about this and they said since the boot itself was not under warranty, there was nothing they could do to help me. This is ridiculous considering the whole point of the guards were to protect my boots, but they actually ended up ruining them in the process. Now I have useless guards and ruined boots. I have attached pictures below: 1 showing the circular ring wear on the boots and 1 showing the minimal wear to the soles of the shoes.

These are a great idea and it's such a bummer that they left dark marks on my Uggs. I returned my Uggs to the warranty center because of this and they lost my boots so now I'm out a pair of boots as well. Super disappointed. Don't recommend.

I'm so sad, these created a dark ring around my uggs after the first wear and it won't come off. Totally ruined my uggs !

I never write reviews but I am passionate about warning people off of these, because I thought they were going to extend the life of my Uggs and they did the exact opposite. These did more harm than good. Despite living in LA where the weather is always dry, I rarely wear my boots when I'm walking my dog incase I have to step in the grass or anything. I ordered boot guards so I can start wearing them walking my dog in the winter and not worry about getting them dirty. I only wore them about 3 times (outside only, when I came inside I took them off) and noticed they were leaving marks on my boots. Marks that would not come out by brushing them. The marks on the boots are hideous and embarrassing. So upset.

I went through a whole ordeal with Ugg and because my boots are outside the one-year warranty, there was "nothing they could do." I spoke to someone from Customer Service who said they'd extend my warranty if I sent the boots back and covered the shipping costs. So I spent the $20 to ship them back only to get them returned back to me. Ugg is not doing anything to mitigate this situation, instead I either have to buy a new pair of boots or do the Ugg Renew program which also costs $$$. I've asked them to cover the costs of my shipping and/or the Ugg Renew and they will not. The marks on the boots are hideous and embarrassing. I'm so upset by this whole ordeal. DON'T BUY!!

These boot guards are the worst!! Do not buy!! They ruined my chestnut uggs! Thank god I was under warranty and ugg gladly exchange my uggs for a new pair. These boot guards are very slippery and you have to be careful walking. It then left a ring stain around my uggs that would not come off. I returned these boot guards immediately. Instead of protecting my boots it ruined them.

I wanted to love these but it's raining here in New York and I fell TWICE! Once last night and again just now with my baby in my arms. These things are very dangerous please redesign them with better support on the bottom because this is ridiculous

Off brand is better and more durable. Ugg brand in general is terrible

I got these as a gift for my bf and he wore them out for the first time today since it's raining and he fell on wet pavement because of how slippery they are. He's probably going to have a huge bruise. Do not buy these they have zero grip and are extremely dangerous. Not sure what the point of these are then since they're meant for protecting your shoes from the rain/snow.

Wore these once on my light brown uggs on a dry day and after wear they left very dark marks where the guard was as well as where my foot hit the guard when I walked. Mark will not come out with brushing or cleaning.

Waterproof? Sure. Safe for wet or snowy conditions? No way! They were slippery on wet concrete and even worse on wet leaves and smooth surfaces like linoleum. Not a pleasant experience for a pregnant woman...let me tell you. Save your money.

They were to big

I wore them in the snow on a moderate day of snow and water that splashed up to of my top got trapped between the boot and the guard and cv up stained my boot. These also caused my boots to get creases as well.

Feels very cheap. Didnt fit well to my 13 boots. Didnt like it at all.

I bought these shortly after buying a new pair of ugg boots (ultra classics) thinking they would help keep my boots cleaner/safer on walks around town or moving around the the dog park. I typically only use the protector sprays to keep my boots clean/guarded, but these guards looked fun so I decided to give them a shot on top of the sprays. I will say that they look great and feel great and they definitely kept the bottoms of my uggs from getting dirty. However, I noticed they've left a dark permanent line around the top of my new uggs . It's a bit ironic that the thing I bought to protect my boots has actually been their downfall. They might work better with a darker color boot (or black boots only), but if you have a lighter colored pair of uggs I'd be wary of these!

I don't understand how Ugg is willing to sell a product that's meant to protect the Ugg boot you paid money for- cause Uggs aren't cheap, but instead the product actually damages them. I wore my Uggs a handful of times, decided to wear the guard, there are now creases along the front, two marks along the sides where my foot would bend the Ugg while walking and the guard rubbed against it, there is also a line all around the boot along the sides and back. Basically the uggs looks as if I had them for a year, not 2 weeks.

I purchased these accordingly to what was suggested and found that they were way too big. I can't take them back because now they're out of stock! :(
