Ok - I've had numerous zip hoodies over the years and this might be my all-time favorite! Fit is perfect: I'm tall and slim (6"1" , 150) and a Medium fits perfectly! Sleeves are long enough for my lanky arms (which is a rarity!) And the functionality is just as good as the fit. I've worn this for any and all activities - even in the arctic cold snap we are experiencing as I write this. This shines best as a mid-layer, but can be worn for most activities. It also looks ten times better than a standard cotton hoodie and I can highly recommend the Deep Navy color. #SmartwoolLove

Great product

This is nice on cool nights and really warm under a good windbreaker. The hood is really handy on cold mornings while making coffee. The price is a little high for a light jacket that I feel is not much heavier than some of your 1/4 zip pullovers. I have an XL and it fits a little tight for my taste. According to your size chart I would wear a Large. I don't want some of your clothes to be so tight because it makes them less warm. We have a lot of your clothes, some days in the winter I'm wearing nothing but Smartwool. Except underwear, I can't bring myself to spend $35 or more on underwear, although I'm sure they are nice.

Wear every day. Favorite zip up hands down, feel younger wearing it

Perfectly stylish and comfy! Looks nice in an urban situation as well as for athleticsbeach volleyball and the cafe afterwards for me!!! I really like the color pattern, I'm a total sucker for anything burgundy, sigh. Also, I rarely like hoodies, but this one works, as it does not give off a saggy vibe. As always, the next-to-skin feel is a huge plus. My experience is that the cut is a bit trim, so if you are between 2 sizes, you might consider going larger, especially if you are prone to layering. Glad I bought this top!

Well thought-out and made design. I usually wear on its own, but it layers well under a coat. Hood fits close enough to be good at keeping ears and scalp warm.

I'm 180 lbs, 5'8" and I purchased a medium, perfect fit, arms and overall length are spot on. Love the colour texture and feel, super happy with my purchase.

I love the design, the fit is snug and the material is well made and warm as needed. so many use cases for this.

Wonderful product feels good,fits great.A well thought out hoodie. It a shame quality control does not inspect their items before leaving the factory, or the shipping department My zipper on the one I received has a melted zipper start way that makes it extremely hard to start the zipper..

I'm a 68 year old woman and purchased this for myself.....I Love-Love-Love this Hoodie. I purchased a mens medium and it has the right fit and perfect weight.

This is a really nice hoodie and VERY warm in the winter! I wear it just a basic merino wool crew underneath it, and it keeps me warm when running even in temps down close to 0 degrees F. Unfortunately, I wore a running vest over it and there are two areas where it rubbed against the hoodie and created some fraying. It was mainly cosmetic, but I emailed them with photos and they credited me with the ENTIRE amount I paid for this hoodie. I ordered a different one to use when I'm not running, and will just continue to use this one when running since it's already marked.

It's a good looking piece fits very athletic so if you're between sizes, I would probably go up. It's not super tight but it's definitely more form fitting. Only downside is it's very heavy and bulky feeling it feels restrictive for your movement. I ended up going with their smartloft jacket instead. The sleeves feel a little less cumbersome and it's more lightweight in the main body section. If you're looking for something warm and cozy to go out after a night skiing, then yeah I think it's a good piece If you're going to be super athletic in it, it will feel a little bulky, even though it's not I don't know how to describe it it just feels bulky when you wear it and restrictive a bit even when it's sized correctly.

Too much polyester for the price because mostly the fit is difficult to deal with putting it on over the arms. (Bought a Large I am 185, 5’10, 44” chest) It’s tight on forearms and a bit long in the arms. I don’t have alligator arms either. My arms are longer than average. Nor do I have Popeye forearms. I usually pass it by when dressing despite it being very warm. I have to play with the length and adjust the orientation around the elbows. Just not a quick fitting throw on sweater for me. I usually wear it over my north face cipher soft shell jacket rather than on my base layer because it slides easier and adjusts quicker too. The hood is middle of the road and the main zipper pull is smallish from my pov. The pockets are roomy and ventilation is excellent. I don’t return clothing but I fleetingly considered it because of the price even at 25% off. Would I recommend it? I leave that up to you. Sometimes you just have to experiment in life win or lose

I have many smartwool products, and loved this hoody initially, and overlooked the fiber pilling on outside, but holes developed under both armpits very early in use and main zipper has also now failed. Maybe I got a bad one thrown together on a Friday before a long weekend, but extremely disappointed.

Absolutely not an every day hoodie. The zipper sticks at the bottom, there were pulled yarns around the cuffs upon arrival and the sleeves are covered in pills after a few weeks. This isn't worth what I paid for it.

This arrived with picks in the sleeves, it looked like someone had worn it before. The zipper sticks on the teeth and I'm afraid I'll break it. Still like the style and warmth but the quality seems very low.

This looks and fits amazingly if you go up a size, but it started pilling the very first time I wore it. It's too fragile for my liking and I will be returning it ASAP

Fits nice, looks cool, it's very stretchy, Material has got snags, pulls and it began to pill immediately. Probably have worn it for 20 or so hours. Not an all around hoodie unless that means sitting on your sofa or going to the coffee shop.
