Love these for the weight and the compression. Wear them daily downhill and uphill skiing.

I wore this on a recent ski trip that ranged from warm, spring-like days to true winter cold with wind and storms. The temperature regulation was outstanding across the full spectrum. It breathed well during higher-output (including backcountry) skiing and never felt clammy, yet still provided enough warmth on cold lift rides and stormy days.
The fit is athletic without being restrictive, and mobility was excellent under a shell and midlayers. It layers cleanly and never felt bulky.
For a single base layer to perform this well in both warm and cold conditions is impressive. I couldn't have asked for more versatility or comfort from one piece.

SO far, I really like this set of thermals. They are a little warmer than my Sitka hunting thermals. They are also lighter than my Sitka Thermals which is nice and makes it easier to move.

First time I used it was -15 degrees in Killington, Vermont and kept me very comfortable- stays in place when you move which is not the case with other brands- critical in keeping skin covered.

Cold weather here, this makes a run much more comfortable. You hardly know you are wearing them they are so light.

The medium by their size chart would be too small but I got it anyways and it feels just right

These are amazing, they are extremely soft and comfortable and do an amazing job at keeping me warm. I use them as a base layer for snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and sleeping at night in colder temperatures. They keep me warm, and fit me good. I also like the thinner ventilation patches they have.

I use this as a base layer for hiking/backpacking and sleeping in colder temperatures, it's very comfortable and warm, the only thing I dislike is where the neckline/collar sits, it almost looks and feels stretched out. It sits very low on my neck. Other than that it's amazing.

I am happy with this shirt. Its light compression is comfortable and pretty warm. It fits nicely, and doesn't stink. The only thing is the sleeves aren't cuffed, so the shirt likes to roll up the arm

This is best to use in cold weather with a soft shell on top to break the wind

The Smartwool Intraknit Thermal Merino base layer is perfect for hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and other winter sports. The fabric thicker than other manufacturers which seemed to wear out in less than 2 years of moderate use.
Highly recommend !!!

I live in my Smartwool base layers during our majestic winter months here at North Lake Tahoe's majestic Donner Lake within the incredible Town of Truckee, California. With temperatures dipping into the single digits, I can always rely on my Smartwool to keep me comfortable throughout the day! Be it skiing, dog walking or a rewarding day at work - Smartwool is the only choice for me!

Fit is nice. Adds a bit of compression which helped on the longer days. Both ski days wearing this were sub 20 degrees and the cold was of no impact to me.
