Bought this for my wife to wear running. I think she uses it almost every outdoor run!

The headband was not available in the color I wanted at any stores near me; the stores seem to only stock black. I bought it directly from the smartwool website. I appreciate the free shipping on this small item. The headband shipped pretty quickly and arrived with no issues. I like the color and the feel of the headband. It is easy to forget I am wearing it; it isn't too tight, but tight enough that it never needs to be adjusted up or down during my hikes or runs. It works well over earbuds, too; it doesn't squeeze so tight that it forces the earbuds too deep into my ears. The headband is warm but not too warm. If it is cold enough outside to warrant a winter hat, then I wear a winter hat. I use a headband to keep my ears warm, not my head warm, and I don't need a thick / hot headband for keeping my ears warm; this thickness is perfect. I also appreciate the feel of the wool; I can sweat into it without feeling clammy like I do with synthetic fleece.

I have never purchased a product similar to this one so I cannot compare it to anything, but this headband has really made my life a little bit better. I moved to the east coast and now wear this headband on cold and windy days, sometimes alone and sometimes with a hoodie or jacket hood on top and it keeps me warm. It's moisture-wicking as well which is great since I also use it to go running outside in cooler weather. I was concerned it would be an odd compression, but it fits perfectly on my head - snug enough to provide consistent coverage without migrating but not right in any way. I removed the inside tag so that I can wear the gray interior on the outside. #sweepstakes

I love this headband for 15-40F activity! It's the perfect weight to keep my ears warm, and it dries quickly when it gets sweaty. I'm extra appreciative of the width - I don't have to keep pulling it down over my ears as I run.

This is great for fall dog walks, cross country skiing or running in the winter. Comfortable and wide enough to cover your forehead and ears.

I was horrified to find a mouse had chewed a hole in my headband! (Apparently mice love Smartwool, too.) Had to replace it, wish there were more colors, but I have several now, and will try to keep the critters at bay. Sweepstakes.

This is my second one, first one lasted 10 years until the puppy played with it. Lesson learned.

My head is usually very small, and this doesn't slide around when i run

Love this headband. I actually lost my first one and it is a replacement. I wear it under my bike helmet on these cold winter rides.

I have very sensitive ears and have several polar fleece of these. This one is a very nice upgrade. Perfect fit, pretty color, soft and warm.

Bought and wore for turkey trot in Anchorage, Alaska. Was exactly what I was looking for at a good cost. Kept my ears warm without overheating during my entire run. Only downside is it is very wide for my head but I always have this problem with headbands so it would likely fit better on most other people.

Absolutely love how simple and warm this headband is. The only downfall about it is the wool gets holes after awhile.

Perfect for cold winter running. It covers my ears and is warm and light. However it's misadvertized as dounle sided. The other side does not have a logo and the seam is way too visible. A design flaw

Great for running above 20 degrees but does not wick as well as another thicker Smartwool headband I purchased. Does dry quickly, however. Nice colors and feels good next to my skin.

Good quality but a little tight if you have a big head

Comfortable and soft. Not itchy at all. The problem might be the shape of my head, but after awhile the band would start slipping back

I had hoped for a thicker, warmer headband. Also, I am a small woman, and this headband just fits me.

This would be a great product, except that it is not reversible. Inexplicably, there are multiple large tags sown into one side! And this is the side for the color I wanted (dark blue). So I have to return it. This seems like a great product, but why would they advertise it as reversible when it is not? Why the extra tags? I was really looking forward to this and am disappointed that I have to return it.

This product is reversible and stretchy, which is nice. It is a little hot and uncomfortable for summer use. I will try it again when the weather gets cooler.

Perfect for the fall pre-dawn hours in the city.
