They keep the feet warm. My shoe size is 9.5 med, and normally I'd order in a 10 for slippers. Since my experience has been that a 10 is to small, I ordered these in an 11. As I expected they are a half size to large, and the width is narrower than expected, but they are roomy enough to wear with my winter-weight thicker socks. I wish slippers came in half-sizes.

I love the quality of LL Bean. They are my go to slipper. I trued a different style this year and they are a little big.but I'd rather have that than too small.

I typically wear a 10 1/2 women's shoe; rounded up to 11 as suggested. I paired it with the Smartwool classic edition hike sock. There's a good thumb's width at the end of toe area. For me, I think the 10 1/2 might have been too short. The slipper was easy to pull on over my socked feet due to an elongated opening that is covered by the velcro strap. There is ample room inside the slipper which easily accommodates a wider foot and higher instep. I love that my ankles are covered and the wool cuff keeps them warm. The velcro strap works well across the top however the slipper style doesn't allow for additional tightening. The interior sole is comparable to the UGG classic boot in that the sole is stiff. There is a very minimal area of arch support; I'm not sure how it is manufactured or how long it will last. I did expect much heavier shearling inside the boot, especially in the toe area. Time and use will tell how well the thinner shearling will last. The Smartwool sock does provide an added layer of warmth. The outer sole is a great feature though fairly thin; I wouldn't recommend long walks on rough surfaces or walking in wet weather. Overall I am happy with my purchase, especially since the Squam Lake Booties were on sale.

I love the boots once I get them on, but the opening has to be bigger! If the boots are nice and comfortable once they are on, it shouldn't be a struggle to get them on.

These are nice slippers. They have a solid, shoe like sole which is exactly what I was looking for for cold indoor floors. They don't bend as easily for that reason so I don't sit on my feet and curl up in these slippers they way I used to... but alas, there are always pros and cons with every choice. One other thing to note is that there is velcro which makes them loud to take on and off. Sometimes you want to slip your slippers on quietly if there are others around that you don't want to wake, for instance. It's not a huge thing but just wanted to note it. Overall I love them and am happy with my purchase.

Great once on, but very hard to get on. Needs a pull strap at the top of the back. Love the warmth, support, rubber sole, and that it resists water.

They feel good. Wish they had half sizes for this style of shoe.

These are excellent for my ice cube feet. Haven't found anything nearly as good. They definitely are not easy to put on, the foot opening is a bit small and you have to pull them on like you're squeezing your feet into a pair of tight shoes. A loop on the back would be great. I bought these 3 or 4 yrs ago in ivory, which I regret. They're in good shape except they look dirty and can't be washed. Was looking for the darker, but they've gone up too much in price.

Love these slippers. Would have given them 5 stars if not for the fact that they are a little difficult to get on. Being "high top" slippers they are tight around the instep when putting on--cannot just slide foot in, have to actually pull them on. Perhaps the slit in the top of the slipper could be extended to make them easier to put on.

I absolutely love these slippers! They keep my feet toasty in a cold home with the shearling lining and coverage over the ankle. Shearling is a must for me to insulate heat but wick moisture for ultimate comfort. I love the rubber sole with tread so it isn't slippery and adds stability. I limit them to inside only, but others may use them to grab the paper or take out the trash. I only have two improvements. The simplest one, which I believe should be a must with the high ankle is a pull on loop. They can be difficult to slip on and tend to smash down at the heel. I'm thinking of sewing on my own or having my cobbler add one. A moser supportive footbed would also be nice. I don't have much arch and require a lot of support (usually wear Birkenstocks) so on long winter days in the house cooking my legs can become achy from the lack of support. If the shearling footbed was removable/replaceable I could add a supportive insole and replace the shearling on top, but it's all one cohesive piece. It's hard to find a quality slipper these days. Overall I am really happy with these and love wearing them. I would buy another pair, but think there could be some minor improvements.

AS my wife is in her mid seventies, and suffers with hand tremors, it has become more difficult for her to engage in fine motor coordination activities like tying shoe laces. Although she somehow managed to break a fingernail in the effert, it was easier for her to clasp the velcro fasteners than tie shoestrings.

I bought these slippers because I had a Wicked Good pair previously and wore them out. This time I ordered ones with the rubber sole, so I wouldn't wear the bottoms out. These slippers are well made, comfortable and nice looking. The only drawback is you have to take your time to put them on-you can't just slide into them.

Comfortable, attractive, keep feet & ankles warm. Challenging for some seniors to get off & on!

Gift for my mother who said "This is the first time my feet have been warm in 2 weeks, but they are hard to put on my feet!"; hence the 4 rather than 5 star review. The opening is too small for easy on/off. Please consider a design tweak to make the opening slightly larger. The velcro closure is ideal, fit is normal, "Wicked Good", Warm Slippers with great non-slip soles.

These were a bday gift. They look great and though I wear a 9 wide, they fit well too. My only disappointment is there is only shearling down to where my toes start. Minimal for the toes themselves. 4/5 stars.

This is a wonderful boot/slipper shoe, especially for people with cold ankles! The plush fur on the sides is delicious. The velcro closure is handy but noisy if you live with a light sleeper. My only complaint is why didn't they put the same level of plush on the insole that was put on the sides? It's a little hard actually. Guess I'm used to your moccasin with its soft sole lined with "fur" sheepskin while this is a hard sole suitable for outside wear.

I was very excited to view these slippers as I have been looking for a pair of shearling slippers that would keep my ankles, as well as my feet, warm. These aren't as warm as I had hoped, but I really like them ! At first I was disappointed that the footbed felt strange, no arch support, no cushioningseems like for the price, these issues could have been addressed. But the more I wear them, the more those issues recede in my mind. I love the look and especially the color of these slippers. They become more comfy with each wear I still wish they were warmer.

These booties are warm and toasty. They are also cute. I wish they came in a soft soleI want to wear them To bed but they're too stiff for that Also, they are tight across the top if you have high arches.

Warmest slippers ever. Love the velcro strap that makes the slipper more comfortable. Can be worn outside and that's a big plus!

I do like these slippers however the only reason I rated them with four stars is that they are sometimes hard to get my feet into and you can't just push the back down and walk on them.

Returned -- way too big especially in length (ordered my regular size). I gave 4 stars because quality was ok. Did not opt for exchange because ordering shoes/slippers online without being able to try them on first is too much of a gamble & I knew better.
