This build was challenging. Either directions when needing to turn or flip and when just reading to place lego but no arrows in instructions. Times I had to restart or gently pull pieces apart without rebuilding to correct an error. That being said, at each build stage, was rewarding seeing it come together. I like the stickers, but I have on nails and sucked pretty badly placing stickers so that was a bummer. Overall, enjoyed and felt like an advanced build.

This Jeep is pretty accurate to the real SUV, it has some techniques that similar to those used in the much larger Lego Technic sets and even some similar to the internal structure of the Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series sets. Overall the build is good looking while also being very sturdy and fun while building that anyone who has built a large set in the past can really enjoy!

It was a bit of a challenge to put together but it is a nice build. Wish it also came in different colors.

Really cool build for someone under 10. I had to assist on some parts, but the build was fairly straight forward. I REALLY hope Lego comes out with a larger Jeep model that rivals the other cars in the Lego inventory *wink*. Well done!

This set was perfect in a lot of ways. The parts in the set aren't too rare which means you may be already able to build it without having to buy it! The usage of turn table gears for a rocking chassis is really innovative! I hope to see more sets like this!(I have a version made from parts from my own collection(left) and one that i just bought(right))

This was a fun build. It was my third build and my first technic, I was a mite worried. All that trepidation was silly, this was a lovely and easy build. Since the build I've been having such fun with photographing this Jeep.

My father and I have made a promise since Christmas that each month as a Father-son bonding activity we will build a Lego car set together since we are both gear heads. Last month was the james bond Aston Marton and this month is the jeep wrangler since we have the real life exact make and model of the Lego version, so we had to build it. I was sceptical about this set as it was my first technic build and I must admit it was so enjoyable to build. Definitely a must have for any car guy. The suspension was perfect with the weight ratio being even throughout the car, the off roading tires are grippy and firm, the doors that access the interior are built strong, and the other play features are so much fun like the winch or the turnable tires. My only flaw I found is I wanted a bit more ability to turn with the tires as they only turn a couple of degrees. But I must admit it was a perfect car for a beginner and a great car in general!!!

First off, this is my first Technic set and I'm very happy with it. Technic sets are known to be more challenging sets with cool details, and this is no exception. Took about an hour to build. The suspension is amazing. It's fun just to turn that gear and watch the wheels swivel from right to left. The printed elements with three holes on the front are exclusive, I believe, which adds a big plus to the set. The rope on the front is a nice feature, as is the folding seat. The price is great compared to some themed sets. My only complaint is that the engine isn't very detailed at all, but as you don't drive with the hood open, it's fine. Overall, I recommend you buy this set before it's retired.

We all loved Lego as kids and are just returning to playing with Lego as adults. This is the second kit we've assembled but we have a few on hand to get going! This was our first Technic assembly. It helps me understand how they use them on Lego Masters. Three adults recovering from Covid sat down at a card table and assembled together in a few hours. We only had one early misassembly confusing black axles with grey ones but they were easy to swap out on discovery. The vehicle has some fun mechanics with finger steering from the back seat once assembled. In the process of assembly it felt a little flimsy, but once it's complete it's solid, the suspension works, the steering works and the doors and hood open. Enjoyed the build.

This was my very first Technic set and I have to say I am not disappointed, the build is challenging in my opinion, it is very much unlike any other set I have bought in the past, I wanted to give myself more of a challenge for me than just the usual sets

As a Jeep owner(XJ) I was excited to see this set come out. Purchased as a Christmas gift for son, but turned into a Christmas gift for dad. Fun build even for AFOLs. Made some slight modifications including using braided fishing line to upgrade winch tow rope. Fun set with playability built into back seat for steering controls. I highly recommend this set for any Jeep fans and Lego maniacs. Perhaps Lego can add an XJ into their technic lineup in the future.

My son is 9 years old and loved putting this together. It was challenging...but not so challenging that he needed help. He was able to build this in a day with a few breaks in between. After it was built it plays really well. There is fun suspension and moving parts. Lego does such a wonderful job pulling out the best in kids' imaginations. It's nice to know there are still options out there for kids that aren't based off of electronics. Thank you LEGO!!

It's not very realistic. I've had this set for over a year now and it hasn't started rusting yet fun build though.

Thought I'd purchase this to do some photography with it outside. The build is ok, fiddly at times. For a technic build I found the instructions difficult to follow at times, on several stages it tells you the pieces in that stage but no actual indication where they go, you then have to compare the image with the build. If you're not much good at Lego or this is your first technic set I would leave it on the shelf and get a different set. Being a Jeep it fits the boxy style of Lego. Once built it certainly won't come apart, it's very sturdy.

As I sit and look at this Jeep I realize it has no Engine. Can't figure out why it doesn't. Same price as T=the McLaren but it has an Engine. Disappointing the Jeep has no Engine...
