Have worn and purchased NB from Zappos for years. They are always very comfortable and a stable running shoe. Great cushioning. They are especially great for medium to narrow-ish feet that still require ample toe room. Not sure why, just wasn't into this particular pair.

I loved these shoes but after walking around my house for a while, they began to feel too snug. So I ordered 1/2 size up (a 10) and tried them. Still snug. I ended up getting a 9.5 wide. Just right! I don't have a wide foot but in this shoe definitely needed more room.

These fit okay, and they're comfortable, but the opening (for the laces) was an inch shorter than on most similar shoes. This made them a bit more difficult to put on. Some wearers won't mind this, but I did. (Where I live, you take your shoes off to go indoors.)

I am a neutral runner. I think these shoes have more support than I need. It would be better if Zappos would use the "running lingo" and identify the shoe as neutral for those with a high arch, or a stability shoe etc. I also think the foot bed was slightly tight and for a running shoe I like a roomy toe bed. Not as comfortable as my Brooks.

The fit was good, but the heel structure is very stiff. I actually needed the structure, but my ankle would hurt after a few hours.

The toe box was narrower than I expected but the stretch in the material allowed room for my bunion with no additional pressure. Unfortunately, I wouldn't call this a stability shoe since there was no support for my pronation. I could see and feel my foot roll inward, followed by an uncomfortable feeling in the upper thigh and knee area. If pronation wasn't a problem then the shoe would have been very comfortable.
I just don't understand how this shoe ended up in a stability/support category.

First off because of the silver design on the sides of a white shoe, it made a wide shoe appear even wider. I also noticed the front of one of the shoes had a spot on it. I feel that I am paying this this price, I should put the first spot on the shoes. The width of the shoe felt wider than the wide shoes I have purchased in the past.

I have purchased the same shoes year after year from New Balance. I upgraded from the V4 to the V5. Upon wearing them, the inside of my heels rub against the side of the shoe. It's as though the arch area is too far back and my heels have no room. I have to return them unfortunately. Not as much cushion as the previous version either.

I ordered these because I have some fresh foam mores that I absolutely loved, thinking theyd be similar. Not at all. These are narrow and tight on my sides even with the lases stretched out. And they have less bounce. I might have to try them in Wide, but either way they didn’t have the bounce or immediate comfort the fresh foam more’s have.

I've worn New Balance shoes for over 20 years. These shoes were the pits. It was so narrow in the toe box that the outline of my toes could be seen no matter how loose I put the shoestrings. It's a shame as the shoes were comfortable. I've kept these in the box hoping I could figure out a way to keep them and be happy with the appearance, but no such luck. Thank you for having such a generous return policy.

I ordered these because I needed shoes that had lots of cushioning and would help with overpronation as I have flat feet that are wide and working on my feet on a cement floor for 8 hours becomes very painful. I don't know what it is but so many shoes that are supposedly designed for overpronators end up hurting the sides of my feet because of that bump on the inner part of the shoe that ends up pushing into the inner part of the foot and is very painful. As soon as I placed my foot inside one shoe, I was disappointed because I knew I wouldn't be able to wear them. I purchased the wides because I thought that would help with this issue, but no. They are very pretty and the cushioned support seems like it would be great but I just can't wear them because they would hurt the sides of my feet. I found the PERFECT New Balance for women years ago, 691, but New Balance stopped making them. They were the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I wish that I could find some that were like those again. Unfortunately, I will have to return these.

The blue color was beyond bright!
They just weren't right.
I returned them, but still haven't gotten a credit for them. That's my biggest concern!

Love this shoe for the comfort. I ordered and not 2 weeks later, the thin fabric on the top front began to tear. Barely worn. Zappos was awesome and sent a new pair upon return of the defective item. The replacement began to show wear only a few weeks later, on the inside back heel where the sole meets the shoe. There is a wide gap and separation of the material. As comfortable as these are, the quality is just so poor.

I was trying to save a few bucks on my thrice yearly Hoka's but boy, Hoka's these are not. There's no arch support, no cushioning at all in the front of the shoe, and I don't want to run in these enough to finally let the back cushioning give. I'm a long distance runner (6-8 miles) and these immediately felt wrong/cheap/unsupportive. Do not purchase these if you need them for running. I highly doubt they're even good for walking.
