Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi v4

The new style of Arishi V4’s are nice looking for an economical shoe. I have been wearing Arishi’s for many years mainly around the house, for light indoor workouts, and for running errands. I have always worn a size 13 4E or 14 D. This latest shoe fits tighter than its predecessors, especially in width in the toe box. They are also stiffer. Despite liking these latest V4’s, I reluctantly returned them. Perhaps with breaking in the fit would have improved but I am content to stay with the old style V4’s for the time being.

It was a toss-up between this shoe and the New Balance X Kaiha Road. Both were very comfortable, but the Kaiha Rd felt like a more substantial shoe. My husband is very hard on shoes, so the Kaiha Rd was a better choice for him. But, for the price, this shoe is a great choice.

The style is cool but the comfort disappeared after a few days like of like juicy fruit gum. I had to put other soles in after a few days. After that good as new. Also they get dirty quick because they are a really bright white.

I found this product to be quite comfortable while running. New Balance's Fresh Foam really makes a different in how your feet, ankles, and knees handle the impact of road running. I think these shoes are great!

Your weight will influence the life of the shoe. This one for me did not last long. A more expensive NB that I purchased was a much better choice. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

It’s a good, lightweight, casual shoe. Not a great deal of support, but I imagine it would be fine for unidirectional movement. Toe box is annoyingly narrow for a 4E, but it’s a good shoe overall.

Size is good, but a bit tight. I've only worn them a couple of days so maybe they'll loosen up a bit. Been comfortable walking and I like the style.

Basic shoes, that actually fit a size 15. They are a bit cheap looking, I know, at $50 that should be expected. But, the fabric, seams and glue all look like they are one neighborhood hill-climb away from saying "f-it" and just splitting apart leaving my toes wondering why they're so big and fat...

I need wide shoes, and they need to have enough toe room to add an extra insole for comfort. This shoe fits the bill but actually feels a bit wider than some of my other shoes. The look would be great if it didn't have the stupid orange strip on the tongue. Can't understand why they did that.

Runs a little small

This is my third pair of Fresh foam Arishi, they feel good right out of the box. I tried a couple different styles that were more expensive but didn't feel as comfortable, or fit as well. It was easy to return those, and quick to credit my account.

New balance shoes are always more comfortable for me. I bought an 11.5 size sheer, and it fit great. I’ve worn the shoes for about two days now and so far they are pretty comfortable. What I dislike about the shoe is the material on the top. It’s pretty thin. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed this about most newer shoes on multiple brands. If I lift my toes up, you can clearly see my toes poking through the material. These shoes would be great to wear in the warmer months, but if the temperatures got cold the shoes, I don’t believe provide adequate insulation. I’m not sure about the arch support either. I have a flat foot and I can’t say that I really feel any arch support.

Size and fit were perfect. Unfortunately, sole on right shoe started to separate. I'm re-ordering!

It seems like a good sneaker, but I think there could be a little more support.

I currently wear 11.5 in my other New Balance sneakers and ordered the same on these but they are easily a half size too small.

I take a very wide shoe and this is still a tiny bit tight. But it is the best so far. I have tried about 10 different shoes and this is the best. Just gotta wear them and hope that they get stretched a bit.
