Had bought a pair of dunhams about 8 or 9 years ago. About the last year i wear them daily at work. These have lasted and still have plenty of life left. In my line of work the most i get from a pair of shoes is usually 6 months. I will continue to wear these until they fall apart and at this rate it will be a while.

Four stars due to the inner lining only being patlrtially leather lined and having a low quality insert. Safly no one seems to make shoes to the same standards used when made in USA.

Super comfortable right out of the box. However was disappointed that they were more a nubuck than leather which I wanted. Will wear them in the fall. Again, very comfortable and true to size but not a warm weather boat shoe.

Nice fit. Only problem the back of shoe pulls my socks off. Solution - don't wear socks. Would be nice if they were lambskin lined. Thanks for the extended size range. I recommend

This is a good shoe thought I was buying a Rockport but this is very comfortable
and I assume is same quality as Rockport I have been buying for years. Note: these shoes re hard to find inventoried in stores

I like how the heel part doesn't rub the back of my feet raw. However the shoe in the picture shows a slip on design with laces that look like they're only for show wich I liked until I received them and mine need to be tied.....................

Sorry to report these are very cheaply made with low end materials. The leather is like that of shirt cardboard... all sizzle and no steak . Big hoopla on the front end. Low end product.

Liked the style and look ... good shoes ... BUT - lousy laces!! The laces had alittle bit of stretchiness to them so I was constantly (and I mean constantly) having to re-tie them to keep them tight (for about 10 minutes, before they loosened up again). Eventually, one of the laces had its outer part wear out so it was just the white inner part that remained threaded. I wanted to replace them with some leather laces but I cannot find a way to remove the original laces (look at the design, those laces have one long threading rather than a few short ones) and I simply cannot get them out. The shoes are in good shape otherwise so I will just lace through the eyeholes and wear them for whatever ... but less support.

I ordered 6E width and these shoes are marked 6E but the width is more like 4E. Really disappointing as it is difficult to find 6E shoes.

I bought these shoes several years ago and really liked them until the shoe laces broke. That is when I found out that Dunham sewed the laces permanently into the shoe. If I cut the stitches holding the lace, the shoe will fall apart. Basically, once the shoe laces break, you are screwed. I contacted Dunham who said even though it is possibly a factory defect, they are no longer responsible because the shoes were several years old. I will no longer do business with a company that makes shoes that are basically disposable once the shoe laces break.

I'm on my second pair. The first ones I returned. Hoping, because I love the shoe, it was a one off problem they make a loud snapping noise when you walk. It starts after a couple of weeks of wearing. Sure enough the second pair started doing the same thing, only when I walk on tile surfaces. It's very frustrating as I said I love these shoes. Now they are retired to my closet.

This is the second pair of shoes I had to send back. On both the right and left shoes the left shoe string was a about 3 inches shorter than the right shoe string. Can't tie the shoes. I bought a pair a couple of years ago and loved them.

I returned them because they were too tight. I already have a pair that I bought locally in a store. They are very comfortable. This is the second pair I bought online that I have had to return because they do not fit like my first pair. Inconsistent.
