Although I prefer to go a half-size larger in a boot (9) I ordered the 8.5 and very glad I did. There’s plenty of room for slightly thicker wool socks. This is by no means a glamour boot, but a comfortable, practical walker that is perfect for fall through winter. I plan to wear these every other day until late spring.

These are very well made boots. I have a higher arch, and they fit true to size (consistent sizing with all of my other Kamik boots). Good toe box room. I'm very pleased with all of my Kamik boots! Great quality!!!

True to length. May be slightly wide for some as they fit me fine in my usual 8.5 when I sometimes go a half size up for extra toe room. Not necessary with these. Since the photos are a little misleading: The Taupe color is lighter than Fossil and Fossil does not have that lighter color band at the top of the sole as shown in the photo, at least not on the size 9 that I returned.

Unfortunately I couldn't keep these because the height hit my leg in a sensitive place. I love Kamik brand and this boot is really nice. The next size down would probably work for the foot but the height won't work for my lower calf.

Super comfortable. Quickly became my favorite every day winter shoes.

The boots fit very nicely thanks to the sock back and the zipper.

These boots are extremely comfortable! I always take a chance ordering online as I have a high arch and wide foot. Foot slipped right in perfect. They have side zipper which is nice also. I got the brown, great color! I had my boots in 2 days thanks to zappos amazing customer service! I recommend these boots!

I love these boots! Within 30 minutes of wearing them they felt Completely broken in. I am a true 9.5 and they fit perfect with lightweight wool socks.

These fit perfectly and are nice and warm and comfortable, quickly becoming a staple!

Fits true to size. I normally wear a size 7. I decided to size up a 1/2 size to be able to wear these boots with thick socks and they are great! The boots are durable, sturdy, and just what I was looking for when planning a trip to the mountains.

Fit and quality was fine, the tread was just a little too rugged for my taste

They are sturdy and well made. For running around in the snow, these appear a good choice but in California, these have more horsepower than I need. Likely in the East they are a reasonable balance between fashion and function. They have a large gap at the top for me, so can handle large ankled/calved folks. I believe mine were a final sale, otherwise I would return. I will use them when I go to icey/snowy areas or regift them to a friend who does.

The boots looked great, but a little too big for me. I purchased an 8 1/2, I wear an 8 or an 8 1/2, so I’m not sure if it’s the boots or my feet

I have narrow feet but can usually make a tie-up boot work. Not it this case. The length was right but they were swimming on me and had to go back.

I love these boots, but there is one insurmountable flaw. There’s an exposed seam inside between the leather that wraps around the back of the heel and the suede upper. I could tell right away that it was going to rub my heel raw. I’m so disappointed because otherwise they are perfect, and it’s such an obvious design problem. Usually there’s a piece of material glued over that seam, to prevent rubbing on a sensitive spot; such a simple detail. I’ll be returning them.

Sadly, this just didn't fit well or support my foot.

In theory, I like the way these boots look. On my feet, however, they feel huge and clunky, heavy and stiff. They were very difficult to walk around in, so having to return them. The boots seem very well made and I like the sole - but they would be too uncomfortable for walking (for me).
