I always wanted the old skool vans shoes but i am too old for that. I walked a lot with my 2 yrs old so I need something comfy to walk and run sometime and i saw this. I am true 7.5 women size and I always buy size 8 for better fit. I bought 8 feel kind of tight so I exchanged it to 9 (they don't have 8.5) But size 9 not much bigger. This style is feeling bulky compared to all the shoes I had in the past (I am a converse type of girl) but I like this old skool vans a lot. It fashionable enough to match most of my outfits. Easy exchange and return.

Absolutely love everything except the extra foam on the tongue. It bothers top of foot even if I loosen the strings. The sole is cushy enough. Otherwise the shoe is 5+ stars for sure!

Getting back into wearing Vans again and wanted a shoe I can stand in for baling period for my job. The sole cushioning worked perfectly for this. I've always liked the Old Skool style (own 3 other pairs plus Sk8 Hi, Ultrange Rapidweld and EXO) The only thing wrong is the top of the heel counter rubs against my achilles raw when I wear no-shows. I have to wear ankle height or running socks with a tab to protect my achilles from being rubbed.

I have multiple pairs of vans and always order the same size, unfortunately these run small so I'll have to exchange The unfinished tongue is a bit odd

I am not sure who decided it was a good idea to put texture on the Insoles of the shoe. It is very uncomfortable to walk and feel the groves on your feet. Luckily the insoles are removable which is one of the reasons I bought these vans in the first place anyways. I can switch the insoles out for some more supportive insoles. I like to wear vans to concerts and festivals, so it is nice having a more supportive shoe option that is still cute.

I have been searching for new shoes after years of wearing the slip on vans. I'm getting older and I just need more support than the slip ons provide. I still want my shoes to look cool with my wardrobe so it's been a challenge finding something. I ended up back on the vans sight to just see if they had anything new that would be more comfortable than the plain flat slip ons. I found these and decided to give them a try. Overall they are what I wanted. They look nice and are much more comfy and supportive than slip ons. I feel like they may last longer as well I used to always get that pinky toe hole in my old vans. But there are a few weird design flaws to this show. First off is the tongue is unfinished. It's just raw foam sticking out. I looks like someone at the factory messed up and never sewed that part up. I came back to the site to check if I got a bad pair or if it's supposed to be like that which apparently it is to my surprise. There's also random zigzag stitching on the back for no reason, and I'm not a fan of the weird jutting out on the sole at the heel. I'm not sure what purpose that serves. So are these my dream shoe? No. But they will do the job. I got the light blue color which is pretty. I'm wondering how well they will hold up to everyday wear and tear. Vans have always been dirt magnets in my experience so we will see how long the blue lasts

I like these shoes quite a bit. They're comfortable, stylish, but the tongue... it's unfinished with the raw edge showing. May not be a big deal with jeans over them, but with a maxi dress and a denim jacket... nsm.

The shoe is cute, comfy, and stylish. The only thing I don't like is that the tongue has a part where the foam is showing and not covered by any fabric. It just looks incomplete.

Every pair of van shoes I own are a size 8. However, these seem to run small. I'm returning and going to reorder them in an 8.5. Hoping they work out because they're bomb.

I like them coz they are comfy, little bit wide ,lot of rooms on your toes

I wear Vans everyday. My new ones are becoming my fav. 1 problem. The exposed area upper tongue. The foam should be covered better.

I ordered my usual size and the toe box was so small and shrunken that my toenails were sore. I will be exchanging these for a half size up. These also appear more greenish than brown in person.

Very comfortable! If you have wide feet give it about 2-3 wears for it to fit your foot well. In the picture the color looks like a shade of brown (tan/beige) but when you get them in person the look green. So keep that in mind when getting the walnut color.

These shoes are every moonies dream. They are cute and very comfy, but there are many details on the shoes that I feel could be made better. Like the tongue seams. I feel those should be sown closed, I don't like the foam peaking through, at first I thought they were defective. Second, the bow could have been made better, it tears easily, string by string. Overall very cute but would not pay the amount I payed for these knowing the few defects. People should wait until they go on sale. (Pics are after I wore them, forgot to take pics of them new in box.) Hope this helps. They run true to size.

I wore these shoes and absolutely LOVED how comfy they were. I needed a good pair of walking shoes and the fact they had some that were Sailor Moon was a no brainer! The only issue I had and the reason I took a star away, was that I had to do a few things to make them so they don't fall apart and what they did to my heels. I had to use anti-fray on the ribbons edges, so they don't continue to fray. I sprayed the shoe to protect it (not a big deal) since they are like a velvet material. The back of my heels ended up getting cut up pretty bad, since the back of the shoe runs a bit high and it's borderline SHARP. Cut them up so bad, I can't even wear them for a while so they heal. So I guess my advice would be to wear bandaids under thick socks on the back of your heel, until you REALLY break them in.

I bought my exact size but they were too small so I had to return them for a size up BUT by the time I tried to re-order, they didn't have my size. Other than that they were very cushy.

I wanted to love these, they're crazy comfortable. But the color is supposed to be cream and instead the checked area is a kind of sickly green? Sad.

They are surprisingly uncomfortable. They look like they are comfortable but they are not.

I wish I read the reviews before I bought :( I am an 8 in all Vans, but these were really small. Plus the unfished tongue is just...weird. Don't know why it's like that. I do like the sole and the look. Hopefully I can exchange for a bigger size

These shoes a very cute, but run really small. The padding is so thick there is not adequate foot room, unlike other styles of Vans. I'm so disappointed!

In my experience, these shoes are NOT true to size. I wear a women's 8 in vans and these were much too tight on my feet. I suggest sizing up a half size. The positive: these are so lightweight I thought the shipping box was empty. I like the style, but they are too uncomfortable for me to keep. Sadly I returned them to the post office after trying one shoe on in my kitchen after opening the box. Such a hassle.
