These shoes are lightweight and great for my fast kiddo, BUT I will say the weird yellow loop that the velcro strap runs though makes it very difficult for him to get his shoes on by himself. Heck, it's hard for me too! We basically just ignore the loop, but it does help keep the tongue up...

We measured according to chart, but the shoes came in too large to be able to wear for our young grandson. We always buy New Balance as the width is good for young feet!

Rubbed my child’s foot along the inside collar of the shoe and his ankle.

Sturdiest shoes we have found in ages. They lasted 6 months on our 8 year old, which is an eternity in terms of kid shoes. The velcro started to go near the end but he is growing out of them anyway. Great for wide feet and high instep.

They were super long and my son said got very skinny at his toes.

Great shoes, look awesome on my son. Only complain is that the velcro closure starts coming loose before the shoes wear out/he grows out of them. Otherwise, we love these shoes.

It’s not bad

This was for my 9yr old son who has wide feet and has to wear special insoles. The shoe itself fits fine but the strap on left shoe will not stay attached to the velcrow at all but the right one will. Out of the the new balance shoes ever ordered these are the only ones we had a issue with. I will just probably have to start ordering all laced shoes instead.

Great looking shoe but seemed to run VERY small and narrow.

Uppers seem to rub badly where the tongue isn’t under them. Seems maybe the tongue is too narrow for comfort?

The strap stitching deteriorates quickly for a kid shoe. Zappos replaced the one that broke after just a few wears. The lettering also rubbed off quickly. Not the quality I expected for Nike, but my son liked that he could have a wide shoe in a "cool" color.

My son has a wide foot and high arch. I got him a "wide" size and he said it felt a bit tight. Also the velcro strap was not even close to being able to be closed. It was a great style show but too bad that it was a regular size fitting shoe for him and that the strap wasn't able to close on his foot. Had to sadly return the shoes.

These shoes did not hold up well. They're falling apart, and we've only had them for a month. They look nice, and my son says they feel fine, but I'm disappointed that they're basically destroyed after 5 weeks.

These fit my 6 year old son great, but they did not last long. They lasted about 1.5 months and then the Velcro strap started to fall apart and it wouldn’t stay in place.

Nice shoe, comfortable, however hook and look strap is very short, almost doesn’t reach over to the other side.

The top of the sneaker near the ankle bone is is very hard and lacking padding. It rubbed on my son’s ankle leaving a bruise, and now he can’t wear them.

These shoes offer good support and look nice. But the Velcro strap does not stay put. So the shoes are always loose, causing him to trip and fall.
