The toe portion pushed down on my toes and cut off circulation. The size heel-to-toe was perfect, not sure why the top to bottom on the front portion was so narrow. I tried wearing them a few times but I couldn't feel my toes after 5 or so minutes of walking around. I'm sad because these would've been perfect shoes otherwise, I just don't think a bigger size would've helped.

I had high hopes for this Greta boot and was disappointed. First off, the foot bed is way narrower than typical for Keens so that is a negative for me. Also, where the leather meets the fabric on front of boot, its like a seam on the inside of the boot that dug into to top of my foot while walking. Overall very uncomfortable for a keen boot, which is usually good right out of the box for me. I will keep looking for the perfect boot.

Tried on these boots and was sold. Great fit, snug with good foot support. My foot sits flat in these and no tightness in the toe box. Went for a long walk in -6C on icy streets and traction was great. zero slip. Highly recommend.

I own several pairs of keens, and this pair is just as good as the rest. These boots are very comfortable, true to size, well made and extremely warm. I am never disappointed when I purchase Keens!

They are warm and truly waterproof. I was a bit hesitant at first but after a few times hiking in puddles I now can confirm.
People complain about narrow toe box but it didnt happen to me. Perhaps my feet are not wide. I often wear size 7 and ordered size 6.5 (as thats the size left when its on sale) and they fit just fine.
I love that they are stylish enough for me to wear them to work and go for a quick hike during lunch hour.
When I get walk on ice I need ice cleats to go with them. No traction pretty dangerous.

They fit me well. They were comfortable even when new and the leather was hard. They go with a lot of different styles of clothing. The top is thin enough for my straight cut snow pants. They are very warm - even in single digit temps I only needed thin socks. (To be fair I havent tried them in colder weather).
I LOVED them until I had to walk on ice.
They have Zero traction in ice. Doesnt matter what kind of ice and how much. Zero. None. Nada. My 5 yo daughters $18 boots give her much more traction than these.
I still love them, and you will, too. But, did I say they are are terrible on ice?

I love the Keen brand. I own a pair of Keen hiking shoes that are literally the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They may even be more comfortable than no shoes at all.
So my expectations of the Greta Waterproof Boot may have been unreasonably high, and I'll admit that I didn't give them much of a chance. They did not close easily around my ankles and the laces were so thick that the whole thing, once done up, just looked chunky and messy. They were comfortable (but not as comfortable as my Keen hiking shoes!) Maybe a little stiff on the first wear. And I'm sure they're super waterproof. I followed the company's advice and went a half size up which seemed to be just a bit too large. I did like them and probably could have made them work, and maybe I'd change my mind once they broke in a bit. But I am sending them back to try another style.

I really wanted these boots, but had to accept that my feet are too wide across the toes even though I went up a half size. I am sure they would fit many people perfectly.

I ordered the same size that I wear in my Keen hiking boots and these were much smaller. I reordered a whole size bigger and need to return those also.

Since the Revel boot has been changed, I was hoping the Greta would offer some of the aspects the original Revel did. I don't want a stiff, heavy duty boot for winter. I want one that has insulation, but moves with my foot, has a wide toe bed, and can be worn as an every day shoe in the winter. The Greta was less stiff than the re-designed Revel, but I didn't care for the height (I like just above the ankle for every day), the toe box was narrow (for Keen), and it wasn't the 'put it on and it's as if I've had them broke in already' that I've had with the 2 other Original Revel pairs I've bought. I gave this 2 stars because they were nice looking boots, but they did not meet what I was needing.
PLEASE bring back the original Revel low cut/above the ankle boot!!! I'm currently hobbling along my pair from 2 or 3 winters ago.

I love my other Keen shoes that I've purchased; however, this boot is far too narrow for comfort especially if I wanted to wear a wool sock. I ordered the same size as my other Keen shoes but would need a wide in this, which I don't see on the chart, or go up two regular shoe sizes.

I wanted so bad to have these work for me but after wearing them once discovered that they were way too tight on me. I think I might be safer buying men's size instead.

I just purchased these boots last month, and went to put them on the first time just 3 days ago. When I started lacing them up, the grommets fell out of the one boot entirely. I chose to take them to a shoe repair to fix ( at my cost of course) because I do want to keep these boots. So, all in all, the fit is great, they are beautiful.....but very disappointed that they had defects before I even had a chance to wear them. For this price, they should not be falling apart.

I love these boots . They are super warm and comfortable . I do loads of walking and this will be their 3rd winter and they still seem ok . The only thing i dont like about them is that they can be very slippy in wet conditions on tarmac etc they are fine on grassy muddy conditions . Have nt used them in snow but i imagine the grip wont be so good .
