I'm 5'10" and I find this too short and boxy - I wish I'd looked at photos before purchasing, as you can tell even on the models. I kept it but only wear it under things (and it annoyingly rides up sometimes, because of the length). Also don't love the colour selection. I got the light grey (not a colour I'd usually buy) because there was nothing better.

As others have mentioned, the previous version fit nicely and was the perfect length and width. Now it is far too short in the torso and the arms and is quite boxy. Very disappointing.

In the past size M suited me very well, but the sleeves of this cardigan (due to new sizing?) are too narrow. And size L is far too wide. So returned the cardigan.

I will be echoing most other reviewers on this product -- this jacket pills like crazy after only a few wears. It would be a great jacket, but the pilling is significant and makes it unsightly to wear out in public. I would also like to make other potential buyers aware that I opened a product service request for this jacket, and I was told that it is not covered under Arcteryx warranty, and that this appearance is normal and to be expected. Ridiculous considering the price.

I have an old one of these from a few years ago that fits me perfectly, which is incredibly hard to find so I thought I'd buy another one. However I was told that the fitting has been updated and now the same size is far too big, and the smaller size has too short of arms. I'm disappointed, Arc'teryx is usually my go to for well fitted clothes. Other than that, I'm sure it's a great sweater, but I'll never know because of the now poor fit.

I'm a Arcteryx loyal customer. I bought the black color a few weeks ago. I only worn one day for a local hiking. after one washing, it had so many pills and lint roller did not help at all. The material has something wrong with it. May be different color would not show these pills.

Ordered this in size small which is my usual size in all top items. However, the new fit is really weird. The shoulder section is perfect, the arms are very tight and the stomach is very large. I know they wanted to make a more modern cut for the covert, but this is not flattering at all and not oversized in the trending way. I was looking forward to replace my covert cardigan that I had lost, but I am now a bit confused as to how to replace it now that the fit has changed and does not suit me at all.

Boxy and way too short with no shape at all and the arms are impossibly tight. Disaster.

My most beloved item of clothing for many, many years. Now ruined. I believe I have about ten of this formerly perfect cardigan. The new fit is horrible. Boxy, unattractive, too short, and - worst of all - the sleeves are so tight it is impossible to where anything underneath the cardigan. Sorry, but you have lost one of your most faithful costumers.

This was my favourite fleece but the zipper broke-it just fell apart. The fleece itself is in perfect condition but is useless without a zipper. This is an expensive fleece to have the zipper malfunction.

I bought this cardigan a few years back and LOVED it, so much so that I bought another one in exactly the same size. Sadly, the revised fit doesn't work at all for me -- too boxy through the body and the arms are way too tight. I unfortunately gave it away to a friend.

Fit is awful now. I have 4 older versions of this Cardigan which all fit like a glove. This newer design is too wide and short on the body while being way too tight on the arms. Won't be buying any more.

This is an awkwardly design cardigan: it is very boxy and unflattering, the sleeves are extremely tight. I am 5’7”, 128 lbs, and tried size SM. You cannot put layers underneath because it won’t fit in the sleeves. On the other hand, if you won’t put layers it’s too boxy. Pros: beautiful color and wonderful fabric. For this price, the design should be more flattering. Returned.

Used to be the perfect cardigan, but it is now made in shorter version, which makes it practically useless. Wonder why Arcteryx made this change?

I have an older version of this cardigan that I love. I wanted another in a different color and tried it on in the store. It is now boxy and unflattering. The arms are a bit tight, so I am unable to go down in size, yet there is way too much room through the belly. I used to love the fit of Arcteryx tops because they were cut for a feminine yet athletic build.

I was looking for a go-to fleece for a Canadian city winter and decided to try this jacket based on the reviews. I got my usual size (XS) and found the sleeves, especially around the armpits to be WAY too tight, despite the fact that I'm a petite and slim build. Even with just a camisole on underneath, there was bunching. This fit paired with the stiff fabric makes this jacket incredibly uncomfortable and slightly useless as a winter layering piece (unless you wear tank tops exclusively throughout the winter). I was debating between this and the Kyanite jacket and am so disappointed to find out that the Kyanite is now sold out. I tried to exchange for something I would actually use in-store but due to the fact it was purchased online I was unable to. Save yourself the trouble and get yourself something designed to fit an actual human being.

I have an older model I am very happy with, so I wanted to get a second cardigan. Unfortunately the new fit does not work for me at all - the sleeves are too tight in my usual size while the boxy cut is too wide in the waist and the hips. Overall the fit was so uncomfortable I decided to try the men's version instead or look elsewhere altogether.
