Is warm, fits good and looks good but looses the down feathers way to fast.

The coat itself feels great, however the zipper feels cheaply made. I've own a few Arc'teryx coats/jackets, somehow the zipper on this is a different quality. Doesn't feel like it was last.

Loved the fir and color but could see too many of the dark feathers showing through the outer shell. There were also some dark spots that didn't look like they were dark feathers but marked on the outer shell itself

Warm and packable. But I haven't had it long but zipper is flimsy and I have to get it replaced. Constantly catches and comes off the track. Bummer for price.

Purchased a size Medium Cerium LT Hoody based on their sizing chart but fits very small and unable to return/exchange. Recommend to size way up if you want some room to move.

I love Arcteryx jackets, so much in fact that I actually have 6 of them. I love bright fun colours when mountaineering - being immediately seen is important to me should the worst happen. Recent colours have been supremely disappointing, so imagine my excitement when the Mesmer colour appeared online!!! Ummmmm, nope. It's nothing like the colour online. That beautiful bright vibrant pink is a fairly dull pinky-lilac in real life. Surely the fact that this colour sold out instantly in every size should tell the product team that women want some colour in their lives?! I'm baffled at the muted neutral colours this season. Give us some beautiful purples, some stunning reds (not more orange-red, actual red), something actually fun! Please!! And the new sizing is way off for Arcteryx jackets. My current Lg Cerium is snug, but the new XL is more like an XXL. It's huge. In fairness, I'd have to say that the sizing is more inline with other brands now, definitely appears much roomier than previous sizing. So I'm sadly returning both the new Atom and Cerium in Mesmer because they've massively disappointed me with their fit and colour. Technically speaking they can't be faulted - I already have them both in different colours, hence buying new versions. They really are awesome jackets, just don't believe the website colours!!

It cannot be published to the website, but.. I bought this jacket thinking it could be worn as a mid layer and standalone. The feathers show through because the color is too translucent. It makes the jacket look discolored. For this reason I would not recommend buying this jacket for anything else but a mid layer in the light colors.

It feels great, it fits great, it is warm, perfect length, packs small, true to size, real light, etc. I just wish seaglass was seaglass and not just almost plain bright green (and forest green inside). I would definitely recommend this down (fits great under my Alpha SV too!) but in a darker color because dark feathers show through the thin green fabric and look like stains before you realize what it actually is.

I bought this jacket and the zipper separated about the fifth time I wore it. I got a store credit, bought the jacket again, tried it on at home, and the zipper separated.. Buy something else. Also read the reviews. This is a known problem.

I bought this jacket exactly a month ago and it is warm, which is good. I got this jacket because it was highly recommended by someone I trust; they have the same one, it's a few years older and they still wear theirs and are happy with it. The first thing we noticed is the different zipper the newer version has (maybe because it's revised). The old one has a nice, thick, durable zipper that has never been a problem with this other person. Anyway, one month in, and today my zipper came off tracks for no reason. I also noticed that it always catches when I unzip my jacket. Disappointing to see the quality is going down. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere for the price of this jacket. I should have read some recent reviews, but I was excited to get a down jacket from theirs as I have other products I really enjoy. I got the Edziza color which is great and vibrant; have gotten lots of compliments on, but the fabric is see through and you can see down feathers that have darker spots, making it look dirty. Not what I want...

The white fabric was so transparent that the dark colored duck feathers looked like stains. It didn't look like pure white as the photo. Also the jacket runs short. I was disappointed in the quality for it's price. I will return.

I bought this jacket a couple weeks ago. I love it, but I am having some issues. 1) I get a rash on my neck every time I wear it. I have never had this with other clothing, and have no known allergies. What is the material around the neck? 2) After only a few times wearing it, feathers are starting to poke out. I can't stuff them back in so I pull them out. What is the suggested practice or should this not be happening? Anyone else have these issues? I'm a huge Arc'teryx fan and want to love this jacket but it doesn't seem to love me.

I love this jacket. However, the first night that I wore it, the elbow ripped right at the seam. The outer layer is not durable at all.. beware of sticks and sharp objects. For the $$ spent it was a huge bummer. Would definitely recommend a jacket that is more durable. Worried it will rip again :(

I really wanted to love and keep this jacket. The colours look cute and I love most Arc'teryx gear as that's the only brand I wear hiking in all seasons. The fit Of this jacket is very strange, too wide in the hips area and too narrow in the chest. Initially I purchased a size S and it was way too big around the bottom part/ hips area, returned and got a size XS which again was a fail as it was too tight in the chest area and I'm not a chesty girl. Arc'teryx, please fix the fit of this jacket. Otherwise I can't comment on quality or warmth.

I have this jacket in the lovely when clean Dew Drop color, which is very light, thus necessitating frequent washing otherwise even with infrequent use the cuffs and collar become dirty rather quickly. Therein lies the issue. I have followed all of the washing instructions to a T. I have washed this jacket with other down jackets manufactured by other pricey and reputable outdoor brands and this one is a disaster. After three cycles in the dryer with two tennis balls and two wool dryer balls all of the down clumps to the backside of the arms - my other brand jackets came out fluffy as ever with no clumping/migration issues with the down. This has happened every time I have washed the jacket (even by itself), so I can only conclude that it must be a defect with the jacket, not my washing procedure. I have many, many other Arc'teryx pieces that have been wonderful (the Patera Parka is one of the best in my closet and I wear it daily in the winter), but this jacket just does not live up to the advertised quality and "innovative" design of the Arc'teryx brand. Based on other reviews I've read regarding the issues with the down, how long the warranty process takes (2+ months), and the likelihood that the company will determine this isn't covered by warranty as it has done with so many other purchasers of this jacket, I am probably stuck with a very expensive purchase that cannot be washed (this is usually very dirty looking) or else it won't be insulating and will likely stay in the closet.

I bought this jacket a week ago and I've worn it just to and from work. The down is already coming out of the seams and there is a small hole in the sleeve. I had been researching jackets for about a month and finally purchased this one. Really disappointed because of the price. Not worth the investment because it has started coming apart

Surprised the down leaks out. Not only through stitching but it has also punctured the fabric near the pocket. I thought this product wouldn't leak down given the price tag. Anyone else had similar issue?

The zipper broke after the 3rd time wearing. The zipper is also tiny, making it difficult to open/close with gloves on. Other than that it seems to be a good jacket.

I purchased a light-colored down jacket, but it is filled with a large amount of black down, particularly concentrated along the stitching seams, sleeves, cuffs, and hood. This is entirely inconsistent with the label stating that the jacket contains 90% white down, and the overall appearance is drastically different from the sample shown on your website. The contrast between the black down and the light fabric gives the jacket a moldy appearance, making it completely unwearable. While your team has confirmed that the jacket's performance is not compromised, the significant presence of black down in a light-colored jacket severely affects its aesthetic. As a customer, I believe I have the right to receive a product that matches the description. I find it unacceptable that such a severe quality issue has been dismissed as a "normal color variation." I hope Arc'teryx takes this issue seriously, improves the way it handles quality complaints, and ensures that similar problems do not occur in the future. As a long-time supporter of Arc'teryx, I expect more than just functionality from your productsI expect the high level of quality and service that the brand promises.

I recently purchased a cerium hoody, but upon receiving it, I was very disappointed with the quality. The jacket appears to be in poor condition, almost as if it is moldy and second-hand, which is far below the standard I expected. The stitching areas were discolored, and there were noticeable black spots and scar-like marks on the shoulder cuffs and sleeves. Additionally, the jacket's overall appearance, including the front, back, sleeves, and even the hood, had black smudges and marks. It looks as though the jacket had been affected by mold or improper handling, which was quite concerning, especially since it did not match the appearance shown on the website. When I contacted customer service to request a replacement, they informed me that it was a "final sale" and that the black spots were "normal." This response is incredibly frustrating, as I expected better quality and service from such a reputable brand. Unfortunately, the lack of assistance in resolving the issue has left me feeling dissatisfied and let down. It is disappointing that a product in this condition would be sold to a customer!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I ordered the Pink Arcteryx Cerium Hoody for $400.00 and received a Blue Columbia jacket. That should not have happened. Wrong product, wrong color. Zappos returned it without question.

I understand the change of design from a few years ago shape to the straighter/boxier fit. Which I am told by sales is to be gender encompassing. HOWEVER, this boxy fit does not work for everyone, just as the 'shapely' fit didn't work for everyone. Why not use the boxy styles as a unisex line? I've been trying to purchase another jacket to replace my older cerium but no matter how many styles I try, sizes etc. I cannot move past the boxy shape. I sadly have concluded that Arc'teryx is just not for me anymore as a I cannot fit their clothes. Pleaseeee bring back the shapely fit again! I am sure I'm not the only one!

I bought this a few weeks ago. Now that it's started to rain, you can see all the dark feather down through the jacket. I'm quite disappointed this was overlooked in the design process. My advice is to choose a dark coloured jacket so that this does not happen to you.
