Great layering option but also warm on its own for dry, cold weather. The waist is tight compared to the fit of the rest of the jacket with 0 stretch. Also don't love the stash bag in the breast pocket where you can pack the coat into. It makes putting anything in and taking things out clumsy especially with gloves on because the bag takes up half of the pocket unnecessarily. I'm used to the pocket itself being the stash bag and much prefer that design. As others have said, I wish they made the fabric less transparent as the darker feathers are very visible. Otherwise a great piece to have on hand!

The Cerium keeps me warm in the alpine, on windy and cold adventures. It's light, very warm and stylish. It packs away easily and tightly when it's not needed. I love the Lampyre color, it's lit!

I am over the moon about this Hoody- I have been waiting patiently for a fit update & it came this year! More room in the chest, shoulders and hips made it possible for me to get this hoody. Great fit underneath my Alpha & Beta jackets for waterproofed warmth & packs into a stuff sack smaller than a Nalgene bottle, great for traveling through the mountains backpacking & touring. Love wearing it on its own!

"Groovie" colour showed pink on monitor, but definitely purple in real life. Size at waist was too narrow for my liking, and didn't love the colour, so I returned. Seemed like it would have been a good coat for intended about town, hiking, additional layer when spectating.

This is my third Cerium Hoody so I like it. Great for layering in winter and for shoulder seasons on its own. Only downside are the zippers. Good quality zippers would make a very good jacket even better.

The white fabric was so transparent that the dark colored duck feathers looked like stains. It didn't look like pure white as the photo. Also the jacket runs short. I was disappointed in the quality for it's price. I will return.

Great warmth to weight ratio. I love the two tone with the orangey gold logo hits. The hood is the perfect size and feels like a pillow for your face. Such a great piece.

It seems that whatever the weather is outside, this puffy jacket is my favorite one. I have mine for 5 years and just got the zipper changed. It is light and very warm for backcountry skiing. I use it for teaching outside and for my personal days. I also bring it as my super warm layer during the hiking season.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
The "yellow" color is a bit orange. It looks exactly like the color of the powder cheese in a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese. The jacket itself felt very light and warm. The material had a bit of a plastic feel to it. Felt cozy like wrapping yourself up in a sleeping bag. I'd say fit wise it felt true to size. I' m 5-5 140 lbs 38b and the medium fit well with a sweater underneath. I'm going to send the yellow one back and order a different color. I always appreciate the quick shipping and easy returns from Zappos!

I understand the change of design from a few years ago shape to the straighter/boxier fit. Which I am told by sales is to be gender encompassing. HOWEVER, this boxy fit does not work for everyone, just as the 'shapely' fit didn't work for everyone. Why not use the boxy styles as a unisex line? I've been trying to purchase another jacket to replace my older cerium but no matter how many styles I try, sizes etc. I cannot move past the boxy shape. I sadly have concluded that Arc'teryx is just not for me anymore as a I cannot fit their clothes. Pleaseeee bring back the shapely fit again! I am sure I'm not the only one!

I have this jacket in another color and prefer that one. For some reason the fabric feels extra plasticky on this one and the color is less marigold and a little more emergency roadside cone in person. I will keep the other jacket and return this one.

Excellent quality as always- but the sizing, proportions on coat seem to be off. I Have owned many Arcteryx items for over twenty years. The area around the neck zip up is too large for me.

I was gifted the cerium puffy years ago, and it still almost like new. It's super light, packs down really nicely and fluffs up very quickly. That is a great extra layer for snack stops while hiking or as a warmer mid layer on cold ski days under a Shell. I wish it would wear out so I could get a new colour!

I was gifted a cerium puffy 8 years ago and it's still going strong. One tiny rip I patched and other wise the down is still well distributed despite a few washes. It's super light, packs down and fluffs up quickly. Great extra layer for snack stops on homes, or as a warmer mid layer under a shell for colder ski days. I wish it would wear out so I can get a new colour!

I've owned a Cerium for many years but recently upgraded to this updated model and I love it even more now. The new fit is great, true to size. I love this piece for layering under a shell or as a standalone.

I bought this within the last year and really love it for various reasons. I love that it is extremely lightweight. It is easy to pack down. And the colour is great. I would love one in every colour or be able to create my own colour.

Haven't found anything that compares to the level of warmth, weight ratio of this puffy as well as being fitted/stylish! Packs down on all my hikes and comes out at the summit or when conditions call for a little extra layering!

Received this just as the weather got warm, but it proved the perfect layer for evenings in the desert. Love the stuff sack in the chest pocket and the fitted hood. Warm for its weight, and looking forward to seeing how it works for winter layering.

I bought this for fall camping and I'm really glad I did! It is very warm and lightweight. This jacket has a pouch in the inner chest pocket for you to pack the jacket. I think its such a smart idea because I tend to loose bags/pouches if they are not attached to the jacket. Its easy to roll the jacket into the pouch and the size is around the same size as my 1L water. bottle.
