These shoes are comfortable and great for hiking in. I am a little disappointed with the color, however. I have done absolutely everything to get mud out of them, but some staining will not budge. Note to self - don't buy white hiking boots!

Good all purpose hiking shoe. The best thing about these is the grippy soles for winter scrambling. The worst thing are the thin laces. Ill prob replace the laces with ones that tie and untie easily.

I enjoy this shoe, comfortable, sturdy, look great. Bought a half size larger because reviews said they run small, they do not, slightly disappointing ordering a shoe just for it to fit a little big but not a huge deal. Insole so far feels nice, not as breathable as advertised in my opinion, but it is gortex and my feet run a little hot so what can you expect. Rigidity and lower half of shoe having that extra bit of protection are nice for scrambles, the little bit of rubber on the bottom half helps from destroying the actual shoe. Even did a little bouldering (maybe v1 or v2) and they felt nice, the grip on the bottom is adequate for everything I need. Would not recommend for cold weather, these shoes are light and as a sacrifice, do not hold heat well. Other than the sizing issues, which was a mistake on my part, these shoes have been awesome so far.

I recently purchased a pair to replace my worn out pair and I'm happy to see the new pair looks like same quality as the old. My old pair were my favourite travel shoes, great for hiking, city walking, and various other terrains in all sorts of weather. They averaged around 10km a day and held up for a number of trips. The new pair do seem to fit a bit smaller.

Very stiff and hard. Better for the trail. I wanted softer and easier for everyday.

Just looks and feels clumsy. Visually seems like a prototype rather than finished product. The light gray color that I got just look lifeless and dull. I find them heavy. And they do run large.

Colors are absolutely different! Online you clearly see beige color (light forage) - shoes are in fact smth between gray and green- too far from the picture. Black sapphire color looks black online but it's BLUE, just blue! Why not naming colors as they are? Or taking correct pictures? And sizes run large. My usual size is 8 , 7 is perfect but for hiking I got 7.5.

I purchased the Norvan LD 3 GTX and loved them, so I got these the week later anticipating the same. Unfortunately I found these to be much stiffer, heavier, and clunkier than the Norvans. The interior volume feels tapered and slimmer in the toe area, not accommodating of toe splay like the Norvan, or of higher-volume feet in general. Understood that this may have intentionally been done to decrease volume/weight of the shoe, but fit-wise it's a miss, for me at least. If your feet happen to fit the shape of this shoe, you might be good to go. The pros of this shoe are: built like a tank, great materials, great lacing system (perfect, even), traction outstanding (same goes for the Norvan) , great design and color options. Cons, summarized: fit inconsistent with other models, feels very stiff in both upper and underfoot. Impossible to know how shoes will perform without wearing them in the wild, so now I have some an expensive albeit beautiful objects sitting around until I can find someone willing to buy a pair that was worn just twice outside. I hope Arc'teryx can figure out a more accessible return/exchange policy for instances like this, huge fan of the brand but this experience was a real bummer.

It is green not gray. The color is not correct on the screen. If you want to sand color or gray color, you should not buy this one.

These shoes are extremely uncomfortable. When wearing these shoes the heel area slips when I walk and the bottom of my heels feel bruised. I sadly cannot wear them.

These shoes cause so much pain to my feet and leg muscles that I can not continue to wear them. The soles are rock solid, the laces dig into the joint and the overall comfort is non-existent. In addition to they agonising performance, they are obviously black on the website blurt bright blue in real life.
