Suitable for lightweight regular hikes, I'd pick this for backpacking or anything with heavy gears as the seams might not hold up. It's lightweight and waterproof. Tested it in heavy rain and the inside was completely dry.

These shoes are so comfy yet also supportive. Theyre sorta halfway between a trainer and a boot. They look great, I love that I can wear them out on a regular day and if I happen to end up walking a long way (as I often do) my feet dont hurt when I get home. And they dont make my feet stinky despite being waterproof. I suspect this wont be my last pair

had my Gtx Midds a year now , they are light comfortoble and waterproof.
The downside is they stink , really stink im not sure how breathable they are .
Non of my other gortex walking shoes or boots have this issue .
I am debating getting another pair but the small is the thing stopping me

Bought for walking at work (on concrete) and hiking. Comfortable from the first day. Will be putting an extra insole in as they are a touch loose.

I bought a pair of these. They were clearly marked GoreTex. First outing on a wet day? My feet got soaked through. And this was just walking around a city, not slogging through wet trails. I should have been able to take them to any Arcteryx store to be replaced. Instead, I got a run-around from their terrible customer service department, requiring me to pack up and ship heavy boots across the country, at my own expense, after which they'd decide if there was actually a problem. Don't trust anything Arcteryx claims is Goretex. I'll never buy anything from them again.

Bought these for biking, hiking, backcountry camping and took on a rainy 3day canoe camping trip. They performed great! Good grip, socks stayed dry, etc. Id say they dont breathe too well if youre indoors wearing merino socks but outside theyre awesome. I also find the soles very stiff for long wear.

Love the new fit and colors. Added the white to my collection and they are really nice. I must say, I primarily wear them as work shoes to the office, but love the fit and light weight. The new Aerios 2 do have more room, in the toe box, then the old version. I have narrow feet, but even at that, had to use thin wool socks. These will accommodate thicker socks and are very comfy. Big improvement in overall fit. Everything about these is top-notch. (Although I wish they had a lace pouch like the Norman).

I have a slightly wider toe box than most people so some of Arcteryx's shoes haven't fit as well. These have a slightly wider toe box and they fit me perfect. I love the style too. They feel very grippy as I hike due to the aggressive tread. Note that they run large when compared to other Arc shoes. I ordered a half size smaller than other Arc shoes and they fit perfectly.

Fit so well. Great lateral support. Enough cushion and flex. Very elegant, can be worn with a classic non technical skirt or pants. Beautiful.

These were a free warranty replacement for a two year old pair of the original Aerios FL Goretex boots that I loved. But the Goretex in those boots failed and water leaked into both boots. Hopefully that issue was solved in the new FL 2 version. The new boots are as comfortable as the originals. And they deliver as advertised. A flexible, low boot that gives a bit of support and never feels heavy. I did notice, as has been mentioned by another reviewer, that the inside stitching at the heel area in one of the boots is crazy bad. However it is in a spot that doesn't press against my foot so it is not a comfort issue.

Bought these 7 months ago. They were my daily shoe for about 5 months. Loved them. Slowly though the edges of both shoe tongues wore through as they are not covered by the shoe itself. Each side where the tongue meets and should go under the shoe where it is laced is too short. It rubs on the side and wears through. Bad design flaw. Otherwise a great shoe.

Got the 10 orignally, which was too big in both width and length. Retuned for a 9.5, which as still too wide. I normally wear a size 9.5 or 10 regular width shoe, but struck out with this shoe.

For a hiking boot with a medium weight sock, these felt too long.

I have used these twice. They have great grips and are good for hiking and off-trails. They are lighter like, trail runners, but they have ankle support and gore-tex material, so it makes them more durable than my noravan 3s. I give them only an average rating because they are too big. I sized down from 8w to 7W and there is still too much room. I have to tie the laces all the way tight and this causes the laces to be far too long (even tied I can trip over them.) I think Arcteryx needs to rethink sizing because it doesn't match the industry norm. For reference I have hiked 100 peaks this summer. :o

Unisex shoe did not fit well on a women's foot. Nice styling. Very stiff on side, not much cushion.

These shoes looked great and had impressive features online. After I received, they were stiff and uncomfortable. I had hoped that the shoe would be light and flexible for hiking etc. The description also stated waterproof but the fit did not appear it would keep out water.

Disappointed as the plastic on the heel is very hard and inflexible. It really attacks the heels when hiking any elevation gain and made them unwearable for me.

Nice looking shoes, but, your sizing chart is off. I ordered a women’s size 12 and the European size on the box says 45. Your sizing chart online shows a women’s size 12 is equivalent to euro size 43. That’s a difference of two whole sizes. Shoes are huge. Returned.

I bought a pair a month ago and after one normal hike, many aesthetic damages appeared such tears and scratches. My purchase was disappointing. I emailed the warranty team but they just justified. It's not worth at all compared to that expensive.
