I originally bought these in a 10.5, my typical size, and there were too big. Sized down to a 10 and theyre still roomy if I wear thin socks - but a good size now. Id recommend going down a 1/2 size. They felt stiff at first but after a few days of wearing them theyre pretty comfortable. Sturdy but not much ankle support. Since its not a boot so thats not expected. I work outside and my job requires some hiking, theyve been good so far. Not too warm even though theyre waterproof which is nice in the summer.

Nice looking boots and seem to be of good quality as expected of Keen. Unfortunately they don’t work for me. The arch support isn’t great and they feel wide; I especially feel a bit of a gap around the heel. When walking the stiff upper creases and hits the top of the foot uncomfortably.

Have only had the boots a week or so but so far so good. Comfortable, fit well and a good price in the sale.

I love these boots!!! I wear size 8 in Keen, size 7 in most other brands. After reading the reviews I ordered size 7. They fit perfectly! Very warm and comfortable. I've used them to walk the neighborhood and in the woods. My favorite boots ever!

Solid, waterproof. They run about a size large.
Watch out - the lace of one boot catches on the hook of the other boot and can sent you on your face. Tie the bow off to the side to avoid that. KEEN - You need to resolve this dangerous issue.

Perfect for this freezing snowy weather. Bought 1/2 a size bigger than usual to accommodate extra thick socks.

First, maybe it's just the way my legs are built but unless I'm wearing the very thickest socks I own, these rub my lower leg raw in minutes just above my ankle, where the boot top is. The fabric there is really abrasive. I tried tightening them to the point that my feet hurt, which didn't help. It's very hard to find socks with an incredibly thick leg and no padding on the foot, but that's what these need.
To ease this, I tried just not lacing the top loops, and like another reviewer here, the laces caught on the speed hook at the top of the other boot, and actually caused me to fall on my face in a parking lot. I must walk with my feet close together? Is that very unusual? I feel like this should never happen.
Will keep trying to see if they break in now that I know not to ever leave the top hooks unlaced and to always tuck the laces into the boot, but this review stands because another person might have broken an arm or knocked out some teeth and I don't want to see that happen.

Ive worn 3 times and they feel better each time! I like the wider toe area( bunions and hammer toes). Very comfortable, good grip in snow, hoping to snowshoe with them this winter!

I got these because the Durand was no longer made. It was made in the USA. These are not. You can see some differences. Mainly the lace holders. On the Durand they were metal. These are fabric and plastic so the question will they last as long. I'm disappointed that Keen stopped making the Durand. They were the best and I used them for years. The fact that they were made in the USA is what made me shop Keen in the first place.

Heavier and not as comfortable as older similar Keen products.

Wanted these to fit but hurt on the first steps. Perhaps a more flat footed person might appreciate.

These boots fit fine but they were very stiff, especially up around the ankle. I can wear them for short periods of time, but may never be able to hike in them. I had worn them several days before I realized they would not "loosen up".

I wish these boots had worked. The tongue is sewn so far up that I could not get them on because of my high arch.

I expect high quality from Keen. That's not what I got. Admittedly I give my boots hard use. But previously Timberline boots lasted me three years. After alittle more than a year these Keens are a wreck. Both broke at the same place..see photo. The leather covering the felt is paper thin.
