Bought this as a Christmas present. My dad loved the trail shoe.

I've been hiking and hill running in speedcross 5 this year. My wife bought me SC6 for Christmas.same durability, slightly better balance, more ankle support and lighter weight. Nice blue color tooa winner so far

Very comfortable with a good grip. The sole is improved from the 5 model.

This is my 3rd purchase of Solomon Speedcross shoes. I began with 3, then 5, now 6. The 6 continues and improves the tradition of supreme comfort with unparalleled grip/traction. I have to climb roofs sometimes as part of my work - the traction on these shoes gives me confidence. I keep my last pair as daily wear and try to keep the tread like-new on the newer pair. I use the shoes for hiking, trail-running and road-running. I've tried all the major brand shoes over the last 20 years and never fell in love with a shoe. I LOVE my Solomons!

I have bought these for hiking, not running. I wanted a shoe with plenty of grip but without covered ankles (due to an injury) What a great pair of shoes! Great looking, very tidy lace system, extremely comfy! I just need these exact shoes but with normal tread for general walking about! Excellent

Having battle tested Salomon Speedcross 3, 4, and 5s, it was time to get ready for my '24 race season. Salomon has done a nice job with the evolution of this model line over the years and these shoes are very durable and wash well. The shoes are comfortable and the tread holds up against rough trail and rocky conditions. I generally upgrade more because of new colors and style being offered than anything else.

I previously had two pair of TechAmphibian 3s and I loved the fit and feel of those so when they wore out I wanted to replace them but they were no longer available. I just happened to see these in a store, tried them on, and they for even better!. I bought an extra pair because I assume these will also be unavailable when I wear out the first pair.

I've purchased several pairs and won't buy another shoe, Love them!

I do a ton of hiking on highly technical terrain and I go at a brisk pace. Now that I've hiked in the Speedcross, I will never consider another hiking shoe, whether I am tackling local Central Texas's rugged terrain or powering up a Colorado 14er, this is my show of choice for everything trail related. The fit is exceptional out of the gate with little break in and it offers wonderful stability and cushioning. My only knock is the tread should last longer as mine wore down pretty fast as I wear these to walk my dog in the neighborhood as well. Enjoy!!! You won't make a better choice than this.

My son is a competitive shooter, these are the ones the other guys told him they are wearing these. He says that these: "Fit wonderfully." I rated the durability as five star because these seem very well built, but I really don't know yet.

I use these as my daily gym shoe & then when inreplace they move on down the line

These are shoes for an alpha male and or female. absolute beasts. Nothing but raw, unrestricted power. Hardcore running applications. These must have been developed in a science lab. The molecular alignment is just supreme. They tickle my fancy indeed. I use these off-road running shoes for running off-road and man do they ever run good off of the road. Its like exercising with a 4x4 Lamborghini under all three of my feet.

My 4th pair of Speedcross! That should say it all! Hike with them in the Adirondacks & they hold up great.

I bought this shoes for my trip to Italy, knowing that I will do most of my excursion walking and hiking. Having flat feet and other joint problems, I need a solid shoes with good thread, one that would help me with my arch and stable enough so that it doesn't move my ankle so much. I think speedcross 6 did all the job here. It was raining the entire time and still my feet were dry, even on a heavy rain. Italy is full of cobble stones and slippery steps and uneven asphalt, yet it is solid enough to place my foot on the ground every time. It has good thread and cushioned enough to keep my feet and ankle firm. Went on a 6 hrs hike along the coast of Amalfi, did over 600 steps with this shoes and it delivers its job! I love this shoes so much that I bought a pair for each of my family member. I think everyone should own one. I'm 53kg, 155cm I bought size 5 on both dark and light colour (sizes 10 and 8 for my boys) it is true to its size.

Salomon Speedcross 6 The main reason these are my favourite shoes are comfort and grip They fit perfectly and are great weather the trails are snow, ice, or a little muddy If there is one thing that I could change would be if the tread was a little tighter and lasted longer I am lucky if I get 3 months I have had a least 5 pairs over the last four years

My foot measures 12 1/2 D and everything fits different. I have to buy wide in a lot of footwear. Ordered these in 13 wide and they are perfect for me. Super light and great traction. I wear them casually as well and get compliments on my "nice shoes". Glad I took a chance on fit as this was my first pair of Salomon's but probably not my last. Salomon but not the last.

Early days but definitely notice the extra lightness of the 6's. Fantastic grip on most surfaces to date and pretty good in soaking conditions.

I've been wearing Speedcrosses since the OG for hiking but I started trail running last year. Bought a pair of these a week or two before my 1st trail marathon. Race was on the red rocks of Sedona, AZ so a lot of people gave me some flack for choosing such an aggressively treaded shoe. I watched countless racers slip and slide across the rock, loose dry marbles, and wet sections from recent rain. These things gripped like Harambe to a small child! Everything hurt after the race except for my feet! Wore them with toe socks and had zero foot issues whatsoever. My distances are going up, and I find that these are good just about 30 miles before the lack of cushioning plays into the equation, so I'm ordering some Thundercrosses. I have worn SC 6's for hours while working in the ER, tons of hikes in all kinds of terrain and conditions. I have never found such a consistent and well-performing shoe....just buy them!

I liked this pair of Salomons right out of the box. Great arch support and comfort.
