While I have not had a chance to wear the Red ones I recently bought, I have worn a exact pair in black for the last 3 seasons. Fit is exact to size, keeps your feet warm and dry in poor weather conditions. Grip is great on wet grass/dirt. The quick tie lacing system is amazing. I bought 2 pairs as backup since they were on a great sale. Im rough with my cleats, but Saloman quality is 2nd to none. I have 3 pairs total to rotate them in case they get wet on the inside.

This is the first time using this shoes and they are very good for every terrain, the only thing is that they are the most comfortable shoes in the market but I'm good with that

This is my first time using this shoe and I can say they are great trail running shoe for a variety of terrains and conditions. It is lightweight, waterproof, and has excellent traction. However, it is not the most comfortable shoe on the market.

We have hiked many miles in our speed cross 6 shoes.

I bought these for mountain "walking" in Spain. They were great on wet surfaces. Extremely comfortable after walking 8 miles in rough terrain. Husband bought same recently, also agrees, comfortable for all surfaces and extended wear time (cobble stones etc).

After seeing ball players wearing Salomon shoes on the softball field. I wanted to try them out. I'm glad I did. The shoes work great on wet grass,dirt and turf. They have a great cleat design for all surfaces. I'm a happy customer.

I rarely purchase a product that impresses me like these shoes have. The traction and grip are unmatched in a trail shoe.

I've had these for a couple of months and they're super comfortable mile after mile, even with troublesome feet and aging basketball knees. Serious leg break as a kid left me with one leg a inch shorter than the other, so custom orthotics have to fit into my off the shelf shoes- but only way that works is to lose the sweet Salomon insoles so the orthos can have that thickness to do their magic and have my foot in the right place in my shoes. I'm close to 70 but am a daily 5k cardio walker but also get in a 10 or 12km trail hike with 3 or 400m of elevation change on the rocky and root-y Vancouver Island forest trails in my area- a place where it rains thru the winter months. The soles of the Speedcross 6 excel on the trails and seem to be holding up well so far and along with the uppers, they clean up well with a hose and finger scrubbing and look still look like new. The excellent Salomon description page of intended uses, design and pros and cons along with the reviews I read gave me the confidence to buy them online despite my special fit needs, and I know my stride type. The fit for these shoes are perfect for me. Basketball also beat up my ankles as a young guy, so my winter hikes also see me wearing a pair of Salomon Cross Hike 2's with their mid boot design to prevent ankle sprains when I'm hiking more steep rocky bits and less trail terrain and want the boot height and stiffer torsion sole but a very similar sole that stands up, grips well and again mud and dust wash right off with all synthetic materials. I have fussy feet and Salomon has given me happy feet again and makes it easy to get the steps and stay really active!

I love these runners. I buy a new gortex pair every year. They are my go to runners for walking to the dog, hiking and walking around Whistler Village during the ski season.

This is my second pair of speed cross 6. Hands down one of the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. The quality of the shoes can't really be matched. Waterproof and durable. I would highly suggest Che king them out.

I love the speed cross, I have had multiple generations, walked multiple countries in these, and won't change them for anything else.

I've worn speedcross shoes exclusively for the past 5 years. They hold up well and when one pair didn't, soloman stood behind them and they were replace at no cost to me. Very satisfied customer!

I have been buying speed cross for years. I absolutely love the comfort and durability. Speed cross six with Gore-Tex is simply amazing.

Ive worn solomon gortex shoes exclusively for over 17 years as my everyday shoe on the farm. They the most comfortable everyday on your feet all day shoe ive found. I get about a year out of a pair

My feet never hurt in these shoes. They are comfortable for about 1 year before they breakdown

These are my 9th pair of the Solomon SPEEDCROSS shoes. New England Trails, climbs and mountains, never an issue. Southern States swamps, salt water and "red mud" never an issue. Will continue to purchase and wear these out for years to come. A solid customer of Solomon... I truly destroy these shoes before getting a new pair. Drives my wife nuts!!!!

I bought this pair as my second pair of trail runners I currently run with Adidas Terex, I am new to the sport, and I found the SpeedCross are a better fit, even more traction, and extremely comfortable on and off the trail....looking forward to more trails ahead.

I purchased the Speedcross 6, about two months ago. I stand most of the day, and every day now that I wear the Speedcross 6 shoes, I return back home feeling without joint pain.

Purchased before a summer holiday in Scotland and Iceland. Specifically for a multi-day stint traversing the West Highland Way from Glasgow to Fort William. Weather was typically Scottish with a bit of rain every day, at times heavy. Comfort through the roof. Dependable grip. Flawless weatherproofing. I brought other shoes for the rest of the trip, but they never saw the light of day. Highly recommended. I found these to run true to size. I normally wear an 11 and that's what I purchased.
