Just went on a backpack to a lake that was a bit over 4,000 ft. Sat outside until after 7pm with just the RHO Heavyweight base layer and stayed very com. It has a really soft feel next to the skin. It is fast becoming my favorite article of backpacking gear. I usually don't get that excited about base layers, but I really like this one. I plan on wearing it skiing this winter.

A good option as a base layer in cold condition. And new version outer shell material feels different and better than last season I had tried . I would prefer to have more rugged outer shell in the coming version .

With temps dropping here in Pittsburgh I wear them, top and bottom, at work on the river moving coal barges. Im 61 200 have both top and bottom XL. Lg bottoms would probably fit more ideal but I have no complaints. These RHO joints are great. Base layer under sweater and shell windbreaker/rain jacket. No bulk. Strongly thinking of a second set so not to wear the one set out. You guys did not disappoint.

This purchase was my second of the RHO HW made two weeks after acquiring my first and putting it through the paces. I'm 5'8 and 160 lbs, athletic build and the small fits perfectly snug just as a base layer should. Stretch is excellent and warmth is simply outstanding. I pair the RHO HW with either the Atom SL or LT when hitting the trails at temperatures between -10C to -25C. Wicks moisture well enough, albeit not quit as effective as my RHO LT's but this is to be expected given the weight of the HW. I also have the RHO LT and HW bottoms and can highly recommend these as well.

Comfortable layer, but fits snug. I am thin, 5'11" 158 lbs and the medium size was quite tight. I exchanged for a large which was still too tight for my liking.

Really warm and comfy. Im 1,80 m and 85 kg, for me the XL fits just right, only the sleeves are a tiny bit too long.

I will admit, I was skeptical at first of using synthetic materials as my base layer, as Im outside all day carrying the mail/amazon, and deal with harsh winters in Oregon. It keeps me warm and I dont need to layer up. I just wear my uniform blue shirt over my RHO heavyweight and lastly my shell and Im good. Highly recommended!

Update: Yukon/mustard colour (mar 24) is longer, thinner, stretchier and has longer sleeves than the others green one (Dec 23). Both size S Would recommend green/pytheas, would not recommend Yukon personally. Updated with photos.

Yukon/mustard colour is larger than the green one, is a thinner material and is much stretchier, making for a poorer, less snug fit. Updating with photos showing Yukon (mar 24) with longer length and sleeves than green (Dec 23), both size small.

Bought the green one in December 23 and it's nice and thick, reasonably warm, smooth to the touch and fits quite snugly. Great purchase. Really lvoed it so just bought the mustard one (Mar 24) and it's much... floppier? While the material is super soft, it's not quite as warm and thick, and isn't as stiff (so the collar flops down and the sleeves aren't as snug). Not quite sure why this is the case, but I'm much less happy with the mustard than the green one. Will ask Arc and see if there's been a design change in the last month or so. 5* for the green (Dec 23) 3.5* for the mustard (Mar 24) Averaged at 4*

I brought this 2 weeks ago, was expecting it to more of mid layer with T shirt underneath, As i own the Rhio Lt so was wanting to wear this over the top, but clearly a thick base layer, as you will struggle to wear anything underneath, but that saying, feels great against the skin. Needs to be cold or you will overheat in this top, I absolutely love the cut, as im small, but stocky build, but some may not like the tight fit and find a bit restrictive. Goes great with an arcteryx Gillet. Its defo a 5 stars from me and ill be buying a few in different colours to help with harsh brecon beacons weather

Love the Rho products but if you are going to change the sizing please us know. Last 2 years this product ran true to size. This year you need to size up. For me medium to large. Annoying as I was on a ski trip and just got my order in the night before. No time to check sizing I trusted it to be the same as always. Nope! New sizing and Arcteryx didnt note this on the website. Frustrating. Couldnt wear it. Returned it for a large.

Ive had this a year now and its my favorite piece. I wear it as a top with jeans its so comfortable and looks great. I also wear it hiking. I recommend wearing a very light merino t- shirt underneath it protects the garment from underarm perspiration. Please bring back the Multiverse color ( Purple). Thats the reason I bought it in the first place.

I purchased this new Rho to replace my old that I bought maybe in 2013. It's a great pullover. But I think the company changed the cut a little bit. So order a size up if you decide to get you one! Or lose some weight like I need to now !

I bought this for my brother since hes always cold. These baselayers are the best. Great for extremely cold areas and you can still dump heat by unzipping. Love polartec. Looks great even after more than 2 dozen washes.

i have other pieces made with the same fabric so i know exactly how it will perform. slightly concerned about zipper, as it lacks a flap or garage, one reviewer took issue, but so far no complaint here, need more time. there seems to be a great many comments and concerns about fit, and i'd like to address: i'm 6 5 (194cm) 220 and fairly athletic build. very lanky. XL fits me perfectly, as i want it to fit, which is to say, very fitted. it is a BASE LAYER, in case anyone missed that. you MAY fit a snug t-shirt underneath, but that depends on size ordered and your build. the arms are slim, the wrists are very slim. this is fantastic, and exactly what i hoped for. now my wife does not have to modify the wrist to fit properly. you will not be wearing a watch under this, or anything else. it is a snug wrist, designed to keep wind out and fit well under other garments. this is how a true base layer should be designed, which is rare. bravo.
