175cm, 80kg, 107cm chest, slim waist (31"), athletic build, Norwegian. Been using L in several Arcteryx tops/jackets previously. This vest was wayy too large in L. Would probably accomodate a 112-115cm chest (incl. baselayer and thin/moderate midlayer), and a 34-35" waist. Don't know why sizes get bigger, maybe to target a different audience - not the typical outdoor/mountain people anymore... Got the M size, which was the right size for me including baselayer+midlayer. Front zipper is tiny and simple, so be really careful with it. Neither the front zipper or the hem-adjusters can be operated with gloves. Lightweight, packable vest. Feels a bit thinner/less substantial than it looks in the pictures. Decent warmth for its weight.

Purchased the Cerium vest on BF sale. The materials, build, features and overall fit is good and the vest is very warm. The only negative is the fit of the shoulders, they look exaggerated i.e. they stick out. I purchased black color in M but also tried an S in store and the fit on the shoulders is very similar, the exception is the S was too tight around the waist so I stuck with M. It seems like you need really broad shoulders or big arms for the shoulders to fit properly but then this should not be labelled as a trim fit piece. All my other Arc gear is M trim and they all fit really well. Having said that, all the pros still make this is a worthy item to keep.

The vest is warm and covers my neck well keeping cold air out. The pockets are of a good size and warm. My biggest complaint is the zipper. The zipper appears sized for a child and surely not an adult male. It's way too small and appears flimsy and cheap. This is inexcusable for such an expensive clothing brand. Otherwise, a very good product at best

Love the color, and warmth it provides. It's my 3rd Arc'teryx vest. Not crazy about the logo on the back.

This vest is warm, super light, very packable, and does everything I want it to. However, I feel like Arc'teryx has changed their sizing recently and I ordered a large which I found to be a bit too big in the stomach area. Consider sizing down if you are on the edges of the sizing chart.

This is may go-to grab and go vests if I every question whether my core will be cold under changing windy conditions. A little boxy but acceptable.

This Arc'teryx Vest beats all competition. The design, functionality and comfort plus highly packable. It's my goto vest for my technical and everyday clothing. The only thing that prevents me from getting five stars is the small zippers. Hopefully the designers will improve the design for future versions of these vest.

Great vest except for a bit of looseness at the back of the shoulders. Could just be because of my small frame. I'm 5'11" and went for the M, definitely the right choice.

Great warmth but a disappointing low quality zipper. For this expense would expect a much higher quality zipper

I have many Arc'teryx jackets and shell jackets but this is the first time I've purchased my usual size and even based on their updated size chart did not fit. It was way too tight. I wear a large in all my Arc'teryx gear and it seems that new sizing fit more like a medium. I'm 5'11" 185lbs for reference.

I purchased this vest in size small as that was the size I purchased with my cerium jacket. I am shocked at how slim the vest fits and how it is not possible to layer under in comparison to the jacket which laying is possible with a size small. Very disappointed how the exact same naming of vest and jacket fit differently. Makes it tough to determine which size should be purchased. Purchase a size up if you want to wear anything at all underneath the vest other than a tight fitting shirt.
