I like how it looks but my feet slide forward when I'm going downhill.

Like others here, I so wanted these to work. They have a great look and would be perfect for my frequent trips to Portland. Unfortunately, I had the same problem as others with the tongue. It definitely needs to be longer. It digs into my ankle. I also could not tighten the boot with the short laces. The boot looks well made and light weight. With these fixes, I would try again during another sale.

I wanted these to work so badly. I love the look which is why it gets two stars and for the Black Friday price, even if they weren't my go to boots for backpacking, I hoped I could still wear them for short walks or more sedentary activities. They are the least comfortable shoe I've ever worn and that includes fancy high heels and converse all stars that were two sizes too small. The tongue digs into my ankle and there is no arch support. They are wobbly because of the tall sole. I couldn't lace them tight enough to offer any ankle support. Not for me.

Although the shoe has a super cute design, after multiple hikes I cannot continue to wear these shoes because of the ankle/tongue being too short. The shoe is difficult to get into if you have a wide foot/bunions, but I will say the sole of the shoe is comfortable + when walking through unstable hiking conditions the shoe keeps you leveled. Was excited to try out this hiking shoe, but it shouldn't take me 7 big hikes to still try to break my shoes in. Definitely size up when purchasing.

This shoe is gorgeous. The lines and color palette are beautiful, but this shoe is not practical for hiking. there is a design flaw with the tongue -- it is way too short and made of a thin plastic. The laces cut into the front your leg/lower shin when laced all the way up because the tongue is short and has no padding. Even if you leave the top holes unlaced it still is uncomfortable. Also, unlaced top holes doesn't offer ankle support and feels clumsy. I'm an avid hiker and have been hiking in Tevas for 15 years and love this brand, but this shoe is more for looks than utilitarian use.

I really wanted to like these boots because they are so colorful and unique (I got the pink, and the color is as pictured). However, I had to return them because the tongue on the boots is strangely short, so if you have them laced up, the tie of the laces sits directly on your ankle/sock and rubs which would become uncomfortable very quickly. If you lace them one spot down, it doesn't feel like there is enough ankle support, which (for me) defeated the purpose of having these as hiking boots. If you are hoping to use these as actual hiking boots with ankle support, I would not recommend them.

The color is so different from the picture shown on the website. I'm going to return because it's different from what I expected
