I've worn them a couple of times and they are very comfortable for walking around. The laces are difficult to keep tied and they are a bit heavy for a low style shoe. I like them and I'll take them on my trip for hikes and casual outings.

Wish they fit!! Way too narrow for wife feet. Reviews said "widest toe box" . Maybe for narrow feet not even close for EE feet. Wwaaayyy too narrow for EEE Feet. Wide toe box and all. Like I said they looked really nice, just too narrow

Close, but no cigar… Finally, shoe manufacturers (besides Altra and Topo) begin to design shoes with room for people with five toes, and Teva nailed every aspect of this shoe except for one. There is absolutely no heel pocket in this shoe. If the transition from your Achilles to the bottom of your heel looks like a plank of wood, then perhaps this is your Gore-Tex day hiker. Everyone else will need to pack moleskin for the friction blisters. Manufacturers, ballerina shoes belong on stage not the trail.

I thought they were going to be more brown colored.

Good quality and looks but received wrong color and heel doesn't fit right. Bought two previous boots that worked out great. I ordered half size smaller and still heel is loose.

The shoe is really well made, plenty of room for the toes and a cushioned sole for heavy guys, but if you have a high arch, the tightness of the ceiling is felt after a while. The first grommet (closest to the toes on each foot) tends to dig in your skin and makes the wearing of these shoes almost unbearable after a few hours of usage. I love them, otherwise.

This is a preliminary review after living room try on. Toe box is great for a wider foot. The heel straps are a goofy design. From photos & marketing text, one would think they are velcro tightening adjustable. No, they are just superfluous. The laces connect to the front strap, which connects to a solid plastic triangle, which connects to the passive heel strap. The lacing force does not transfer to the heel, no way. Basically it looks like a stick & dirt catcher to me. But the fit is good, so I'll review again when put to a real test.

I usually wear a 9.5W in women's, so I purchased a 8 M, D width, in men's. It's definitely wider than the women's 9.5M, but it's still too narrow. The shows do not have much cushion on the bottom, and are a bit stiff for comfortable fit.

not quite right for me - a little wide at the front. Not especially fond of the color

Fits fine, looks good. I assume will wear ok. Can't stand the side straps which always fall off the shoe lace when tying up. Irritating, and for an outdoor shoe, trying to retie in inclement weather is not only a chore, but can be a safety issue.

I feel like I'm wearing a pair of flip flops when I walk in them. I will likely have to return them.

There is a slight heel drop. I'm not use to it. I don't like it. Besides the heel drop, the shoe seems to be well made

Great shoe. Extra room in toe area. Nice gore tex and grip. The only bad part is a slight heel drop. I don't know why the heel is a little lower. You can feel where the heel begins to drop

I admit I use my footwear hard. Really nice when I find a good fit like these GTXs' , really great on rock. Living in southern Utah there is a lot of sand. After about 6 mos. of intermittent use the shoes developed lumps along the inside edges of the soles. I was sure it was due to mid sole collapse. Took out the liners looking for rocks /sand whatever and found nothing. Threw them out as they were unwearable. But I wanted to understand what had deteriorated so badly. Pulled the shoes out of the trash and ran one through the band saw. Wow! Discovered pockets of sand between the sole and gortex liner. No way to remove without a band saw. Guess you could get after it with a razor knife but end result would be the same. Unusable! TOO BAD.

The styling was fine. The main reasons the shoes were returned: 1) The soles are very slippery on wet surfaces; not what one might expect with a sole labeled "Mega Grip". The right shoe had a strong pinching from the top above my little toe. No amount of adjustment or change of socks relieved the pain.

Length is good, but the heel is too wide + low and my heel keeps slipping out of the shoe when I walk. Tried to put some padding in the heel, but didn't help. Wish I hadn't thrown out the box so I could return them.

Wanted to like these shoes but ended up returning them. The heel keeps slipping and the side straps doesn't really allow you to tighten them beyond a certain point. Not sure why since tightening up around the ankles would probably eliminate heel slipping. What's the purpose of the back strap anyways? Guess I'm dumb but back strap doesn't tighten in any way. Does not move forward if you pull lace straps so what is the purpose? Thought it was for tightening the heel but nopenot at all unless I just couldn't figure it out.

I had high hopes because I love my sandals. But these shoes just hurt. And I don't know if I can send them back or not. They look new still. My heel does not stay in the shoe because the back of the shoe is so low. But this is a walking/light hiking shoe so I thought my foot should stay in it. And I am wearing the correct size. Also, this hurts across the top of my foot. I have to walk differently in these so my foot does not slip out and to avoid the pain, and then my calf muscles and foot arches end up hurting. I would LOVE to exchange this for something else. But I don't know if the company would do that? I bought it online from the Teva company.

Hi there, I love the first pair of shoes I purchased from you but the laces on these are so short they are impossible to tie. I've been so busy I haven't had time to deal with it and it's been much too long. I'm sure there's a way to get them returned. Maybe buy another pair of the ones I like and use that box to send back the others? Or maybe you send different laces??..........Thanks!
