love this style! Super comfortable and I get lots of compliments. I even ordered a second pair for when these wear out.

Bought these shoes for an African safari. Perfect fit and very cute. I wore them over 24 hours the first wear for my flight to Kenya. Absolutely love them!

The shoes not only look amazing, but they are extremely comfortable! I'll be getting more in different colors!

I love how comofortable the shoe is. The sole is a little thick so you have to be mindful of where you step so as not to twist your ankle. Other than that, great shoe!

This is my third or fourth pair of the alpine sneakers. I wear them for work, as i walk in multiple different terrains throughout the day. Normally they are very comfortable right out of the box. This pair seem to rub on my little toes more than the others have, thats why im only giving 4 stars. The hold up for about a year of everyday wear.

I sent these shoes back because they didn't fit me & most Merrell shoes do. They are a nice shoe.

I have had these shoes for a few weeks-- they were initially squeaky, but that went away after about two days, so it is a non-issue.
They are just starting to feel comfortable, so there definitely is a breaking-in period. The laces need to be tightened quite a bit, but less so now than when I first got them. My foot is starting to "fit."
I like the grippy soles and good quality. A little on the heavy side, but they have a feel that they will last a long time.

Fit is excellent as usual, but the sole squeaks loudly on hard floors.

They are very comfortable but the soles are a little slick - don't provide the expected traction.

Bought my sneaks for a trip that started in Paris, include Lithuanian countrydide and 5 days in Vilnius and ended in Hertfordshire, England, with the possibility of an excursion into London. Needed comfort and support above all and got that, especially on cobblestones and Vilnius' streets paved with, well, really huge cobbles. More like big, round rocks. The took on all terrains although rainy granite pavements were a little slick and slipping was a worry.

I love the look of my Alpine sneakers. This is my second pair. I do need insert, though, for my plantar fasciitis.

Comfortable shoes for walking !!! I have sensible feet and I walked like a breeze in this pair. Will like to find more color selection than what they offer. Only reason why I don't say 5 star

Great, comfortable sneaker. I have many Merrell shoes and hate to wear anything else.

Comfortable and true to size. But the very thin tongue (just a piece of cloth) made it difficult to put the shoe on easily -- the tongue would get bunched up as I was slipping my foot in. If this shoe had a thicker, slightly padded tongue, I would have kept it.

Good looking update on the Alpine sneaker. Pros: Similar super comfortable fit like the original Alpine, better/brighter colors for women and accent color on the tan/navy (fuchsia) is great, decent arch support. Cons: Tongue is flimsy and gets rolled on the sides, stiffer insole in the heel than the original. Overall, a great sneaker that I'd buy again, would like to see even more bright color combinations for women's.

I bou go t these because I got dressed in the dark and accidentally wore 2 different shoes! I ran to sports store and bought these. They are beautiful and comfortable I always go 1/2 size up with this brand and they fit wonderfully. The only frustrating thing is walking in the tiniest bit of dirt sorties the teal toe and try as I might I cannot ever get it clean again. I have used suede cleaner at least five times and the toes is still dirty. I can't imagine these on an actual trail. Even with that I think I will get the ones with the pink toes. I wear them with scrubs and can stay in my feet all day

I got the darker rainbow color, size 6 and they fit perfectly. I'm always a size 6. I got compliments on them all the time in the beginning. I guess once they started to get dirty no one noticed them as much. After 2 years, the toe flap on the outside is peeling off slightly and there are holes in the inside back of heel, which seems odd, I guess that's where my heel rubs it? Anyway, I've loved these shoes, but one star off for how they've worn, some stitching has come undone as well. These shoes have been well loved. Also, one annoying thing is that the sole makes lines in the carpet like no shie I've ever seen before! It drives me nuts. If your house has a lot of one tone carpet, you'll REALLY notice all the lines. Thankfully I only have a few spaces in my house where I notice it.

I absolutely loved them. They're like walking on cushions and they're wonderful. I might recommend sizing up half a size,

I have worn this shoe for about a month now. I have to say the shoe laces are poorly made and have already begun to fray in some spots on the lace. Also the tongue of the shoe is not very sturdy or well padded. Overall the shoe of very comfortable but I would not buy another pair in this style.

I wore these for some serious walking on vacation, and ended up with matching blisters on the sides of each heel. So they may not be the best for hard core walking, but they are very cute and comfy for shorter distances.

I own the original Alpine sneaker and really like them, but they are tight in the toe box. I loved the look of this "sport" style when it came out so I bought a pair a half size larger, thinking that I could get the cute look but with more room for my toes. Unfortunately, it seems like this is a combo of the Alpine look but with the rounder toe shape of the Antora, which I guess is part of what makes it a "sport" style. I love them but they're a little big. Super cute and comfortable shoe though and I think an improvement over the original Alpine sneaker. Definitely true to size.

I purchased a pair with the pink accent. The shoes are super comfortable and true to size. I normally wear a 10.5 and they fit great. I also appreciate that Merrell carries half sizes beyond size 10.
I was disappointed by the color discrepancy between the photos online and what I received. The pink in the photos looks much brighter and lighter than the muted, more dusty pink on the shoes I received.
Their still fun but I would have loved the colors to be as bright as advertised.

The toe box is a little narrower than other Merrells I've had, so take that into consideration if that's an issue for you.
