Bought these boots for a hiking trip and Merrell you did not disappoint! So comfortable and sturdy. I tried them on right before the trip and knew immediately they did not need to be broke in. Wore them the entire trip without any issues. Glad I listened to the other reviews to size up, its a must!

Most comfortable hiking shoes Ive ever had. Was able to go three creeks and on beaches without worry of wet feet. Hiking 20+ miles each hike and not a sore foot to be had. Dare I say the best hiking boot ever!

Very comfortable and lightweight legs didnt hurt. Went on a 10 day trip to Canada walking 5-7 miles a day and they kept my feet warm and dry. Never slipped on wet and snow roads. No break in time. Went up half a size. And glad I did. They wouldnt have fit otherwise. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again.

Honestly very disappointed. The little dots are popping out. The seams or material is fraying. Ive been trying everything to break them in and they are for sure waterproof so love that but my toes are sooo bruised and I went up half a size.

Obsessed! I am hiking Mont Blanc so have purchased 3 pairs of boots which are recommended for the terrain. These fit the best by leaps and bounds! I am normally a 10.25 (ugh) but sized up to an 11 which is perfect with thicker hiking socks. It feels like Im walking on a cloud! Ive been wearing them on 5 mile walks for a month and theyre waterproof, supportive and comfy. Couldnt recommend more!

These books are amazing. My last pair of hiking boots were more than double the cost of these and they never fit me well. These Merrell boots are PERFECT for my high arch. So much support and comfortable since first try on. Absolutely no break in time needed. They are so comfy, almost cushy. I love the color as well. I wear these on fairly rugged terrain in Idaho but I also wear them semi casually in bad weather and theyre cute enough to pair with jeans. I wish I would have found these boots five years ago. Truly a great product at a very fair price.

Hiked 5.5 miles in 10 inches of snow the other day in these no problem! Comfortable and water proof. Kept my feet warm and dry. Didnt have to break them in at all. Plus they are SO CUTE. Im obsessed.

I love almost everything about this shoe! Super comfortable, supportive, breathable and the colours are awesome! My one 'pain point' is that the edges of the tongue are unfinished and it's the foam inside exposed. It makes it hard to clean there, but otherwise I love them!

They are very comfortable. They just rubbed my ankle a little. Maybe need a thicker sock is all

I was super excited about these shoes but was left disappointed. I have a pair of Merrill hiking boots that I love but was looking for an upgrade. Ordered these in the same size and felt like they were a little smaller than my other ones. I wore them on a rugged hike and was left bruised and in pain. I wouldnt recommend these but if you do buy, I would size up from what you normally wear in hiking shoes and beware of the toe on the shoe. It is not soft and hurts your feet quite a bit if youre going downhill for awhile.

Great looking boot, but was unfortunately a little small for a size 9. I was looking forward to wearing them this fall but will have to order up a half size.

I bought these for a trip to Acadia, and even though they arrived quickly, I didnt order them with enough time to break them in at all. The first time I wore them was on a very wet and steep trail. I then wore them again the next day and had no issues either day. They were incredibly comfortable and waterproof. I didnt submerge them completely, but I did walk through a shallow streams. They also look cool; I got a lot of compliments on them.

Wore these on an 11 mile hike in the Rockies, on a rainy day and they were awesome! My feet didnt get wet and were comfortable during some rocky paths. Would highly recommend for novice hikers!

Bought these for an upcoming trip to Utah and didnt attempt to break them in beforehand as per other reviewers who said you didnt need to. Hiked over 10 miles between 2 days with absolutely no pain or blisters! And Im someone who has a ton of foot/ankle problems to the point where I get prescription orthotic insoles but I used the insoles these boots came with which were absolutely pain free for my ankles and arches. I cant comment on if theyre truly waterproof or not since I havent worn them in those conditions yet, but Im hoping they are. Also I love the colors of the boots and how they look a bit cuter than traditional hiking boots do!

I bought this product a month ago. I am pleased with the fit and comfort but they are not particularly waterproof. I just rechecked the box they came in specifically to make sure they were waterproof. I was walking in wet grass and my socks are pretty wet but not soaked. Not what I was expecting!

Runs small had to return them, they are cute and seem comfortable had they actually fit.

I bought these to use when I hike the Camino de Santiago this December. I sized up but the shoe was still too small so I had to return them. I didn't exchange because the exposed foam on the top of the tongue was odd to me - feels like it wouldn't be as waterproof as I need. These were super cute and I think they'd be a nice hiking shoe to have, just not what I was looking for.

I love the look of the boots and the pink/teal/lime. They are comfortable to try on but why is there exposed foam in the tongue? It ruins the appearance of the boots and makes them look cheap. I am concerned about how this will wear over time. I will be returning :(
