This was not a women's US 4.5 to 5.5 it felt more like a 5.5 to 6.5 and is a European size 36. Also, the shoe box came in a BAG and as a result the shoe box was crushed and the shoes smushed. Why would Zappos ships shoes in a plastic bag??? Now I have to return it since Zappos both got the sizing wrong and the item is slightly damaged.

Beware the conversion from European to U.S. sizes. Had I looked carefully, I would have known to order a 37 instead of a 38, which is what they said was equivalent to a U.S. 6.5-7 (my normal U.S. size). As a result, the 38s were too big. Otherwise a great, practical, good-looking sandal.

Love these Sanita sandals. So cute and oh-so comfy. I have many pair of Sanita clogs and was happy to add this sandal. I have a narrow foot, high arch, wear 6 - 6 1/2 in shoes and boots and wear 36 in Sanita. This sand fits perfect. Got the brown color, it’s very pretty and a great neutral.

The description indicates that size 39 fits 7.5-8. This is not the case as the sandals were too big. I usually wear a 38 in Danskos and should have ordered this size.

True to size, but you can adjust straps if needed. I am a teacher and on my feet all day; surprisingly good healed sandals.

Glad I ordered my usual size 36 Euro which is still a size 6 US!!! I don't know why Sanita uses the wrong US Size??? Zappos must get a lot of returns on them. It's a shame cause the sandals are so cute like all my others.

Liked these so much I purchased in brown and a backup pair. They are VERY comfortable and while Sanita has come out with more attractive styles, attractive enough.

The arches fit just at the right place-even better than my Sanitas clogs! We have wide feet. They don’t pinch anywhere. Oh my! To be in a dress and sandals and be comfortable the whole time! And I finally have some cute footwear to use with capris too! Only one complaint-The black looks good, but I’d REALLY like a white pair, and they only come in black or tan. (A navy blue would be nice too.) -Hop Sanita is listening.

I have this sandal in red in a 39. How do I get a 39? You sent a size 40 and it's too big. It has to be returned.

This is a cute shoe, but I'm typically a 9.5 and these felt huge overall. The backstrap was especially large, and not adjustable. It floated outward and was so large it didn't even touch my heel.

I am a huge Zappos fan and have recommended this app to so many friends. This is the first time I’ve ever ordered anything from Zappos and received questionable merchandise. These shoes came in a box that was not Sanita brand, had a few pieces of packaging paper thrown in the box but not inside or around the shoes, and it looked like they had been worn a few times by someone else. The buckle had obviously been placed at another spot on the shoe for a while for another wearer. I decided to keep them because they were on sale and because I needed them the next day. They rubbed my foot on my little toe and when I took them off at the end of the day, my feet were black from the leather dye!! The oddest purchase I have ever made from Zappos! I hope it’s not a trend!

I like the style but the fit is very strange. The front of the toe curves upward and I assume that is to prevent the foot from sliding too far forward. But it's curved up so much it's like someone is pushing up on my toes and it's very uncomfortable and strange! It's like, the person who designed the shoe doesn't understand how feet work. I used to wear this brand years ago but I can't anymore.

Nice for wide feet, fit good, but the top section is not enough material to hold foot safely to walk in.
