Because of a bunion wearing heels of any kind can be incredibly painful and sadly, I thought was something I’d never be able to do again. I ordered these, and a dozen other options, for a special occasion just incase I could find something with a heel that didn’t make me feel like an old lady and that I could stand to wear at least for a couple of hours (anticipating I’d have to switch to sneakers or bare feet). I chose these (opted for 1/2 size smaller than my usual shoe size but in WIDE just to give a little more room) and they were perfect. I added a small adhesive insole to the non-bunion shoe, a low profile insole made for pumps in a neutral color and that made the fit perfect. Not only did I wear these shoes all night, I DANCED in them all night. Not kidding…almost 4 straight hours of non-stop dancing and being on my feet, and ZERO pain that night or the next day. Also no sores anywhere from rubbing or friction…truly, these are pretty great. I got to experience the whole event exactly as I wanted to without one thought of “my feet are killing me” and having to sit out or cut the fun short because of a sore foot or painful shoe. And I didn’t have to use any of the emergency band-aids in my purse from that inevitable rubbing that often happens with new shoes. Wish they offered them in other colors/fabrics, I bought the blush which isn’t my usual go to color but they worked great for my summer party dress (id consider these a bit too casual for anything more formal though). Because I’m just shy of 5’1”, having a heel is always nice for an event where I’m on my feet mingling—having a few extra inches of height just makes socializing in mixed company more comfortable. And for this special occasion, I felt pretty, slightly taller, and free as a bird to have all the fun I could, thanks to these shoes. Anyway, it’s a great shoe that fit the bill exactly and beautifully.

For folks with a true wide foot, the wide width does not feel truly wide.

I have flat feet with a wide toe are due to my bunions. I typically hate all types of heels. And usually when I wear heels I have to take them off before the end of the party. But this are so comfortable. I have wore them multiple times - all day - lots of walking. Highly recommend.
