Normally really like what I get from your site. the woven belts run large and are quite thick.

Too log for a 36" belt

It's fine

I like to wear my belts tight. If you do also, I'd stay away or get 2-3 sizes smaller than you are thinking. Mine is 3-4 inches longer than it started after wearing it.

I ordered a size 38 belt. It was too big, so I went to the Scottsdale location to return it and reorder a size 36. A size 38 was delivered.

Too much stretch. It is just as bad as the ratchet belts I was trying to replace. Might have been better if it was smaller. Quality looks very good but if it won't keep my pants up what is the point?

This belt is as nice as it is pictured, but it is too long, about 1 " longer than my other belts of various other brands. The 34 would be too short. Very disappointed. I will have to return.

Belt is not sized properly for the amount of (extended) stretch it has. Had to take it to a shoe repair shop to get it shortened.

Love the design but sizing is way off by at least 2 inches.

This belt was 2 inches longer than the same belt in the same size (different color) than my previous belt that I purchased. Lack of consistency is frustrating.

Oversized. Purchased my usual size but these were much longer. Should have returned them.

My 36" belt was huge! Measure it with tape measure -- it was 47" long. Mismarked, maybe?

Too stretchy

First let me say I am a long time customer of JM and continue to be. This time they failed me. The construction as always is good but the dye on leather they use for the buckles stained three pairs of khaki shorts and slacks and it does not come out after several washings. I am afraid I cannot recommend this item.

Runs way too large. Ordered a 36" which is my regular size. Even on the tightest notch it was at least two inches too large.

Longer than my 38". Ordered was a 34".

I ordered a size 34" and the belt fits like a 36", and in fact is about 2" longer than the other Johnston Murphy belt I purchased earlier this year. The tag on the belt says it is a 34", This is quite disappointing and I fear that if I send it back and reorder the belt the same problem will occur and if I order the 32" it will be too short.

Belt fit is terrible. I ordered a 32" belt and it's 34" but says 32".

not true to size

I was told by the operator to order 1 size larger than my waste. I did that and they were too large. I sent them back to get the smaller size.

Shoe stitching tore out after the third time I wore it. Poorly constructed!
